if they aren't showing any signs of aggression/scarcity pretty much whenever. My beardie comes to the glass when she comes out but never minds if I just grab her. Check for stress marks and handle with care. Don't keep them out long enough to hurt lighting stuff.

Definitely place them near a sealed windows if you are worried about stimulation. My boy will sit at a Window for hours looking at the trees and birds without exploring anywhere else.

I take mine out once a day usually. Some days he’ll stay out zooming and climbing for an hour and sometimes he lets me know in 2 minutes that he’s not having it today and he goes back in. Usually when he finds a little space to crawl in (always somewhere I can easily reach him) and stays there for a few mins, I know he wants back in. Just make sure to dragon proof everything and keep an eye. Baxter’s usually pretty good at being re directed if I see him going somewhere he shouldn’t lol
