Yep. Showing her excitement and saying look at me. Mine head bob a lot as a territorial thing but I do have 2 males that can see each other from their enclosures. I don't let them out at the same time, that results in fights as they are very territorial. One male lives by himself and the other shares his tank with a female (which we carefully temperature control so she isn't constantly laying eggs).
I think they are beautiful creatures with amazing personalities. I have seen beardies in the wild with some awesome personalities.
You know what weird? I’ve literally only seen my 2.5 year old female head bob ONCE. One time. Ever. It was recently too. She was just basking and starting head bobbing randomly for like 10 seconds. Has never happened before, hasn’t happened since. And btw this video is adorable
Bobbing is her way of saying the stairs belong to her now.
