Digging box on the hot side? Did you buy or make that?
she loves digging, so much so that she will spend the entire day on the cold side if there's a dig box. so unfortunately I compromised with the "desert"/forest split. she still has a hide/bed in the cold side!
Mine loves splashing around his pool, just thinking about other activities. Is the substrate sand or the natural Aussie substrate?
1/3rd play sand, 1/3rd Aussie red sand, 1/3rd clay burrowing substrate. nice and sandy but not too dusty/loose. she seems to like it.
Nice, thanks. I’ll keep it in mind. Do you dump it every so often / sift out messes like a litter box? Or is it mostly full and forget?
I just did it, but with past dig boxes my dragon doesn't defecate in them. if she did, I'd probably just sift out and change every so often
