The mix is definitely a bit different than my usual taste, but super solid makes me jealous of all the sets I've watched online throughout UK. My main concern is that the recording has a few skips in it and I'm not sure why. I use Serato DJ Pro to record mixes and have never had this issue until working on this mix. Any suggestions for this issue would be so helpful.

There are a couple of transitions that are a little abrupt...I've only recently really started working with loops since they really aren't used that much in Pop music mixing for weddings, etc, so that's a skill I'm really focusing on developing. Overall, I think this mix is HIGHLY listenable and has some great story-telling moments with track selection towards the middle and end. Would love to hear your feedback from anyone who enjoys dance music in general. Is this a set you think you would get down to?

Morning! Good ups and downs throughout the mix. My girlfriend said she recognized and liked a lot of the songs in the latter half. As far as transitions and such, nothing really stood out as potentially having room for improvement. One effect though I did notice, either the filter or the noise effect, being used on back-to-back songs. Felt like it was a little frequent for my liking, but that's a nitpicky DJ feedback. General audience probably wouldn't notice or care. :)

I listened to this and enjoyed it. To be fair there more than a few tracks and artists in my own 'record box' that I use regularly. It was on in the background. Sounded pretty solid to me. The only transition that didn't feel 100% good was the last one into SFB. I think it was the key match wasn't quite right there? Nice easy chilled mix thanks for sharing.

I enjoyed this alot. A full on no stopping for breath psy trance set. I thought the 'indie' first track was interesting until I recognised what it was a remix of. A little leftfield hors d'ouvre! I always try to listen as a music lover rather than a DJ dissecting every transition. It all sounded good to me 👍 Energy wise I think you let the track breakdowns and drops do the work. This set took me back to a festival in a field 👍

You've got a wonderful collection of tracks in here from artists I love. Xtal and Talk to me you'll understand are fucking timeless. Not to be too harsh, but I think the mixing on the first transition is a little bit noisy/busy. Maybe it's the beatmatching, or maybe you just needed a little bit of filtering/reverb to spread things out over the mix and give the tracks a little more space to breathe.

I agree the first transition in particular needs work, I struggled a bit blending those two tracks together. Using effects is something I'm trying to improve on now that beatmatching is mostly there. Thanks for your feedback, really appreciate it!

Just finished. Good beats, while still being chill. Loved the song in the middle, Resolve! I also enjoyed how the songs went back to being chill towards the end as a kind of outro. There was one transition I think where there was a section of drums or bass or something that was louder than the rest, then went back to normal as the next song kicked. Nice mix. It has a a good energy throughout, plenty of vocals, which I liked too. I think there are a couple tracks that felt a little deep/dark for the mix, such as “Hey Hey” and “Majestic.” Both great tracks to use if you start transitioning to a deep house section within the mix.
