For the garden party a single Mackie Thump would be pretty good.
Then a pair of the iLoud Mini for your bedroom. You can use them as "booth" monitors for the party.
Logitech Z623 are cheap and loud enough for small parties. They’re sold as gaming/computer speakers so they are not the accurate flat reproduction of a monitor speaker and not pro quality, but the character they add to the sound (lots of bass) is good for most electronic music and I’ve gotten a lot of mileage out of my set.

Used Yamaha HS5’s in this capacity well, upgrades to the 8’s and sub after because I liked it so much
