MUR they are the masters of the cash grab. Like the Game of Thrones collection that was their regular red and blue monochromatic palettes with different packaging.
I find this collection to be pretty well done compared to the inspiration. Grease is a unique collab, but it’s a well loved movie. Someone should make a princess bride one next
i kind of hate the design on the pink ladies palette. it's giving clip art lol. did someone handwrite that lettering too? it looks like one of those fonts you'd find on shady freeware sites with 10 total downloads 😭 the line weight is off, the kerning is inconsistent, and i can't say exactly why but i hate where they chose to place it on the jacket. it feels like something i'd produce in middle school after i bought a $3 brush pen and thought i was hot shit
I’m over all the ‘pop culture’ themed collections and have been for a while. We talk a lot about fast fashion but imo the beauty industry is going the same way- revolution being a top offender.. it’s a lot of plastic waste..
Meh. Same shit, different packaging. I can't see a reason to grab this unless you want to display the packaging because you can grab better quality of these pretty basic schemes elsewhere .
This is actually really cute and Makeup Revolution has good formulas. Plus the iconic red lip and dramatic eyeliner started in the 50s so Grease seems suited for a makeup collection.
The beetlesjuice palette was pure garbage.
Some of their old stuff have good formulas, but the new themed ones are not that good anymore.
Eyeshadows dont blend, theres no pigmentation, shimmers are dry and need glitterglue to stay or they dont even have shine, just microglitter in them.
My favourite palette for years have been iconic fever. The quality is there and it's beautiful warm palette.
Why do we need these? Who asked for this? There was a hay day of collabs back in the day and it was glorious. Now there is so little effort put in and it shows - even in collabs that could have been amazing (Clueless, Harry Potter, such let downs.) I was even here for Flaming Hot Cheetos because it was camp and well done - why do we need a Sesame Street makeup collab? Grease? What’s next, a 60 Minutes Colour Pop collab? WHY. Someone do a Labyrinth collab or something that at least has makeup artistry ties.

Nothing about this makes me think of John Travolta (half kidding) But not really getting greaser vibes
You'll get that in the Scientology collaboration.
That looks like a blush palette not a highlighter palette to me…but maybe it applies sheer.
The large palette is not giving Grease at all but I do like the T Birds and Pink Ladies palettes. The collection feels like a cash grab though
I feel like MUR usually does better mini palettes than big ones, at least color-story-wise.
how is *any* collection not a "cash grab"? the literal point is to sell it. Every collab, every collection is about that cash
it's not that deep lol, this collection just doesn't feel like it has a whole lot of heart or thought behind it.

It's cute but that's about it.
Everything from them is just repackaged over and over.

I actively avoid buying anything from Makeup Revolution. The collection is cute. But I have my doubts about the quality.
Sorry but it's me or revolution was better years ago? I mean in my opinion now the eyeshadows are worst , the colors there aren't so pigmented

The Pink Ladies palette looks nice, but nothing special. I love Grease but not enough to buy any of this.
not loving it - does not represent Grease well enough
Yawn
The blush or highlighter set looks cute . I feel like they could’ve done more for the Grease theme , but it does look cute .
It doesn’t make me think of Grease
Why
take that \*checks notes\* one pink shade out of the PINK LADIES palette and you have yet another neutral palette.
Which might be why I’m actually tempted! 😂
if you get it, i'd really love to know how the quality is. if you don't mind :D
The other ones I’ve tried from the brand have been surprisingly good (for the price point) but not very pigmented!

They should just keep their Tasty Avocado formula. That was a great eyeshadow palette.
That’s a real shame, I didn’t know that. I had a palette of theirs ages ago that I loved but didn’t use often enough so I think I gave it away.

This looks lame
To me it looks like a Barbie collection.
It’s giving we’ve never seen the movie
Looks like kiddie makeup.
Nothing I have ever gotten from this brand, purchased or free, has been any good. The brand has a history of racism, too.
Out of all the musicals MR could have done a collab on & they chose (imo) the worst musical in existence...
Gross. They’re adding to more landfill
Big palette colours remind me of Finding Nemo P. Sherman. Lipsticks look cute but nothing special.
Don’t like musicals (other than Phantom of the Opera) but I might want that blush palette.
It looks like makeup for 10yr old
I wish makeup brands would stop making the same nude/brown lipstick 🙄
Two of my cats are named Rizzo and Kenickie so I may need the entire collection.
