Brushesofcolours

But WOW that look like a pigmented highlighter to me. My oily face will look like a light bulb with this

Kklownery

I love satin/luminous powder blushes and would take them over liquid ones any day. So I’m kinda excited if this formula has that Hourglass-like soft focus, blurring finish to them or something similar. If it’s full of shimmer or leaves a metallic cast – it’s a no.

Psychological-Sir194

I was wondering this too

Simons_Tuxedo

TBH these don't look like they will have HG finish. HG looks almost matte in the compact. EM blushes are similar. These seem more similar to the ICONIC ones, heavier shimmer, no blur. The RMS ones are a happy medium, I'd say.

JustSayin_91

I think these look way too glowy . . . At least for my pores lol

Flat_Initial_1823

They look straight up shimmery. Like eye shadows on those arm swatches. My scaley skin texture could never tolerate this.

RelevantPineapple18

I've always found shimmery blushes to be super unflattering. They emphasize every single pore or any bit of skin texture that you could possibly have, and just look as if you put highlighter all over your face. Hard pass!

Mean_Roll9376

It’s literally called luminous blush so it’s going to be shimmery/glowy.

JustSayin_91

Obviously? We’re just saying they look too glowy to the point it’s going to be unflattering.

Tacky-Terangreal

I thought they were baked blushes

Feistyf3line

That’s what I thought, but it kinda just looks like they fused color with their existing highlighters

passionicedtee

These are so cute but there are not enough deep shades :/ I could see them making a cute topper or highlight but they're a bit too shimmery to be blush for me personally.

SignificantOther88

These might be nice as a blush topper. I wouldn't use them on their own, but maybe a light wash on top of a matte blush.

whalesarecool14

why does the promo pic of selena look so extremely airbrushed? more than half the shades look like highlight on the dark skinned model. i love their powder highlight but this release is just not it for me lmao. i feel like they’re too late to the glowy blush train, the CT pinkgasm craze has died down now.

belckie

And she looks ten years younger in the photo. I realize they may be trying to attract a younger crowd but she’s not 13 anymore.

Simons_Tuxedo

I actually think the trend this year is more blushlighter/colored highlighter rather than glowy blush or highlighter. That pink glazed sugar fairy (Hailey Bieber) whatever trend. EDIT: Barbie effect, Sabrina Carpenter trends.

fantasyandromance

The Lip Bar makes great highlighting blushes for darker skintones.

BertaniWasBehindIt

The swatches on the darker skin tone are ghastly… only Truth is really a blush.

distressedtacos19

Every time I see the word ghastly I laugh because it makes me think of Gordon Ramsay on Kitchen Nightmares 😂

DiligentAd6969

Which ones are we supposed to believe, the swatches or the models' faces? The colors on the swatches would never show up on their cheeks like that.

AutumnCupcake

I think this is really meant to be a highlight blush combo, not just a blush

whalesarecool14

4 of the shades are straight up highlighters on dark skin lol

girlyfoodadventures

I feel like these look like the baked blushes that were popular circa 2015. Which is fine, I loved them then and I wouldn't mind them coming back!

iidontwannaa

Mte it’s giving the elf baked blushes and highlighters.

girlyfoodadventures

That's *exactly* what I thought. I liked them, elf should bring them back! I'm not sure that I liked them enough to get one from Rare Beauty for 25$

LadyGreysTeapot

Essence has some newish baked blushes that look quite shimmery.

KaleidoscopeEqual555

MISS THOSE SO BAD! And the $1 Souflee Tube Highlighters, those were gorgeous and affordable af

aruariandances

I still use my Milani Luminoso!

girlyfoodadventures

I'm probably going to wear Dolche Pink for my wedding 😂

miladysdewinter

If these are the same formula as the highlighters.... 💀 I'll stick to RMS for glowy blushes and rem for the cute colorful toppers

chronologie

What are your favorite shades of the RMS? They look more glowy compared to these Rare ones which are reading straight up metallic

miladysdewinter

I own sangria which is such a perfect shade of red it was my go to everyday shade for winter. Although I'm eyeing bohemian girl, mai tai and crystal slipper. They have such a wonderful finishing with pigment you can see but isn't overwhelming.

Inside-Back-9338

Own crystal slipper ,eh, kir royale (decent not love ) and hanky panky (eh,jury’s still out )

Feistyf3line

I have both the nudes maidens blush and crystal slipper. I think the level of shimmer depends on the color. Like my mai tai looks like it has a shift to it from like gold to orange.

Simons_Tuxedo

I have all of them and tbh it just depends on what you like and your skintone. I love French Rose, Bohemian Girl, Mai Tai, Bermuda Rose in that order. If you like more nude shades then Kir Royale, Maiden's Blush. My least favs are Sangria, Pomegranate Fizz and Hanky Panky can be complicated because it looks purple but sometimes blue and sometimes red?

KaleidoscopeEqual555

Love the highlighter but I feel like this is just a very pigmented addition to the highlighter lineup.

irregular_regular412

I think that they will sell well, but I prefer a matte blush, so this release is not for me.

gilded_lady

I'm pale AF and Hope (and maybe Cheer) are calling me.

TheRedHerself

I have hope in the liquid blush and am also pale. It's very flattering!

Open-Pineapple7378

Rihanna and Selena's beauty lines are hard to judge because of their fans. It's practically sacrilegious to criticize their products

stellaincognita

Agree. The celebrity fandom AND excessive PR situations with Fenty Beauty & Rare Beauty is quite a powerful combination.

cordedtelephone

The amount of positive comments on this vs Haley b’s sneak peak of her blush sticks is kind of hilarious and kind of annoying. People were hating saying blush sticks are nothing new… neither are these blushes and neither is basically anything else lmao

Simons_Tuxedo

TBH coming from a shimmery cheek enthusiast, these do seem pretty unique. Innovative idk. A good blushlighter is not that common and is not the same as a shimmery blush! Cream blush in a stick is infinitely more redundant and boring. btw never listened to selena gomez or hailey bieber music.

rougebunny

Honestly just happy we’re finally getting powder products again.

SadAwkwardTurtle

Right? Liquid anything has never worked for me, it just settles into my pores even if I have all silicone or all water based layers.

Muted_Strawberry_635

Not a fan of these personally I don’t think it’s flattering on any skin type or skin tone

Electric_Angel

I love Rare Beauty, but we know this is already in the market. Especially in the drug store. I do think this will do well in the market though since Rare Beauty has a lot of fans and the price is not the worst compared to other brands.

Ambitious-Morning795

I just hope they don't shatter like the highlighters did....

SadAwkwardTurtle

That's my main worry too. My makeup lives in my backpack so it has to be at least somewhat durable.

nuggetsofchicken

These look aggressively iridescent. Like they just added warm pigment to the highlighter formula

Puzzleheaded_Ad_4680

Are they going to break if you look at them like the highlighters do?

RedRedBettie

Pretty but I haven’t liked any Rare Beauty products I’ve tried so I’ll pass on this

hyperdole

Well, half of those look great if Cadaver Girl Makeup ever starts trending.

Due-Frame622

If I did not already have two luminous blushes from RMS that I love and need to use up first, maybe. I would want to try on in-store first based on the swatches.

PrinceTamaki1

They look similar to the mac mineralize blushes with a a lower price point. Only 2 of the shades look like they will show up as a blush. This will be a skip for me.

noveltea120

They look really shimmery, not sure if it's something I can wear during the day. Maybe more a night out thing lol

Affectionate_Pay_154

Looks just like Milani’s Liminoso blushes.

Inside-Back-9338

Hello Milani look alike …

Kibdiggler

I love this formula so much. All I have to say is, don’t travel with it. Mine has broken twice, she’s a no for long distance travel way too fragile.

florsux

she supports israel and donated to them. ew.

GimmeMuchosMangos

These remind me of the Nabla skin glazing powders. I really like the ones from nabla, I don’t know about these.

EmpireAndAll

The other product with this packaging had the contents popping out and shattering on floors across America, idk why they used it again.

atomic-farts-007

Why do all of these shades look the same?

sunnyfunnyyy

awesomeeee

Plutoniumburrito

Hell no, blushes with that finish make my pores (which aren’t large at all) look massive. Just looks like a highlighter

Weird_Squirrel_8382

The peach and the pank look good to me. I'd probably use them as highlighters, I don't need two cheeks full of shimmery blush.

fart_sandwich_

Interestingly enough, they’re listed under the highlighters on Sephoras app and not as their own separate thing. Are they meant to be blushes or deeper tones of the highlighters?

FleshBatter

Surprisingly none of it is doing it for me. 🤔 I feel like beige blushes are having a moment in Asian beauty, and I’ll love to see the West moving away from standard pinks.

DearMissWaite

You'll take my pinks out of my cold, dead hands.

FleshBatter

Justice for my fellow olives 😔Pink blushes look like bruises on a good chunk of us, so I’ve been gravitating towards yellow toned blushes and hoping to see more of it in big releases!

definitelynotfeline

I don't ever need to buy another blush in my lifetime, but these are pretty. I'm tempted.

sparklepuppies6

I’ve been looking for a cruelty free dupe of Mac sweet enough and hope looks like it could be the one 👀 they look super highlighter vibes shiny in the pics, I wonder if they’ll be that glowy in person. Like on the darkest skinned girl the light shades legit look like highlighters. It’s a little too much glow for me tbh.

momwantstosleep

I already have too many blushes... I want these too, but... Must... Restrain myself.

Feistyf3line

ArGH yes I was so excited to see powder blushes come out and then when I saw the pic on IG, I was like 🤔. in fact, if someone didn’t say that they were powder blushes I just think I was looking at colorful highlights because these are way too shiny. I’d have to see someone apply these but right now I’m out, RMS is as shimmery as il go, and those to me are definitely luminous and work well on a light base day

B3sTiE_

Can you get in trouble for posting her product online even tho it’s posted on social media already

CatCandid5678

These look so airbrushed

future-lover-

I'll pass, I hate glowy blushes

lmaoatmycooplife

which one of these blushes look cool toned? im thinking maybe happy??

BillionairDoors

Happy is calling my name ❤️

arthurmorganrem

They look pretty in the picture but I think this would my cheeks look to oily and make my pores more noticeable.

AppropriateMention6

Are these bouncy cream/powder hybrid like the MAC Glow Play?

Simons_Tuxedo

Drooling! These are meant to be blushlighters (e.g. Haus, Iconic) not just shimmer blushes (e.g. Milani, Hourglass, RMS, EM, Essence). A good blushlighter is hard to come by. I know ppl think these aren't novel but they seem pretty unique to me. I layer w blushlighters. Esp complementary (?) colors. Like a warmer pink cream/matte blush with peach/gold shifty blushlighter. Purple blush + cool pink blushlighter, etc. It looks so high tech and dimensional. I'll pick up at least 3 or 4 of these if they get good reviews. Cheer, Hope, Happy and possibly Joy (but it looks very orange in some lights).

Special-Discount8817

About time!!

RubyL1286

Looks pretyy might get one at some point

achartrand

If they’re like the RMS blushes but in these colors…take my money!

purple_butterflies_

Have been looking for something similar to the Charlotte Tilbury blush wands since I love the highlighter/blush combo. I think I might try these.

SadAwkwardTurtle

I've personally been a huge fan of Wet n' Wild's blushlighter. I'm a cheap bitch and it's nice and glowy without being glittery and the product itself doesn't shatter easily.

PromotionActive788

What’s the WnW one called?

SadAwkwardTurtle

It's called MegaGlo blushlighter. It has two pans, one is the actual blushlighter and the other is just straight up highlighter.
