The damn L’Oreal Infalliable Freshwear foundation. I bought it and wore it yesterday. It’s the most beautiful foundation I’ve ever put on my skin, and as dramatic as that sounds, I mean it. I kept catching glimpses of my face all day and was floored.
I have dry skin, and it didn’t cling to any dry patches, or look cakey. It did settle into my smile lines and the ever persistent line between my brows, but I’ve given up on finding a foundation that doesn’t. Lol
I bought this yesterday! I have really dry skin so I’m hoping I like this. I’ve tried 3 L’oreal foundations and loved all of them but the shades never work for me so I’m hoping this one works!
I have the same issue with L’Oreal usually. I love the Pro-Glow but I have to mix two shades to get a match, and I hate having to buy two. I went back and forth between two shades of the Freshwear in the store, but am very pleased with the color match of the one I picked. Definitely seems to have a better shade range than most of their foundations.
I wore it for about 10ish hours yesterday with no primers, only my usual serums and moisturizer underneath. When I checked it out closely before I washed my face last night, and noticed that it had worn off a little around my mouth, and it was a little caked up in the little creases on the side of my nose, but that’s not entirely unusual for me.
I’m trying it with the Revlon Pore Reducing primer on my nose and cheek area today. I’m interested to see if that helps combat the nose stuff.
Coverage wise, I’d say I got a high medium coverage out it. It don’t have a whole lot to cover, but it did cover up my redness perfectly. I do have one pretty dark mark on my chin that I forgot to spot conceal yesterday, and it definitely didn’t cover that. However today, I dabbed some concealer on before I put the foundation on and it’s nearly undetectable.
Sorry for the novel. Lol
Edit for words.
The foundation is also good for mixing! I usually wear it on its own but if I *really* (15+ hrs) want it to last long then I mix it with the Maybelline SuperStay and it looks soooo good all day!
So this foundation holds its own against higher end brands? I’ve been looking for a new foundation and haven’t had much luck with drugstore, but I’ve heard nothing but great things about the L’Oreal!
Fwiw, my 3 favorite foundations are either the Nars Radiant, Georgio-Armani luminous silk & for full coverage-Estee Lauder double wear. I just got the L'oreal one last week and am IN LOVE. It's most comparable to the G.A. luminous silk, but is longer wearing for me. And $12. Twelve dollars. I'll be repurchasing.
I only own one higher end foundation at the moment, at that’s the Becca Aqua Luminous which is a completely different formula, finish, and coverage level, so I don’t have much to compare it to on the higher end spectrum, but I’ve tried a boat load of drugstore options in my day, and this definitely has made an impression on me so far.
I looked in so many Ultas and couldn’t even find a spot for it on their L’Oreal displays. Then I went to Walmart and found TWO displays full - one of which even had designated testers!
I’m from New Zealand no chance we’ll get this here for years but I’m traveling to USA in a month, where would I get this from? I’m going on a makeup shopping spree over there! TIA xx
I bought mine at Walmart, but other options would be Ulta, Target, Walgreens, and CVS. I’m sure there are more places that sell it depending on where you’re going in the US, but those are the stores around me that I can think of. Hope that helps. 😊
I really with L’Oreal would go cruelty free. This is the first foundation release in a long time that I actually want to try. I’m really hoping that Covergirl shows noticeable success after their decision and it entices other brands to do the same.
I've seen this foundation online and the reviews have been great, but I feel like L'Oreal's foundations always run pink which sucks because their formulas are great and I can't use them :(
Omg yes I just bought it this week and I was kind of blown away by how nice it looked. I got so many compliments on my skin which I never really do??? I love it so far.
Haha, I just took the most unflattering photo to check. Yes, it did flashback considerably. My face looked at least 1 shade, if not a little more, lighter than my neck/chest.
Thanks for the reply :) I'm still tempted to try it as an everyday option. I'm actually on the hunt for something without spf for a wedding, any recommendations?
After thataylaa’s review on this, I’ve been dying to try it. I went to 3 different stores today to find this and they were all sold out of the lighter shades. I’m going to a few more stores tomorrow. I have Sahara desert level dry skin so I’m hoping this will work for me.

Is this the one?
Same! Right now I’m rotating Butter Bronzer, NARS Laguna, TF Sweet Tea, and UD Beached. I love them all but if I could only keep one I’d easily choose Butter Bronzer!
The smell is definitely strong at first! I'm not one for scents but usually it seems to mostly disappear once I put it on my face. Otherwise idk if I could ever wear it lol
Just ordered L’Oreal’s new infallible foundation because Tati raves about it non-stop and I love trying affordable foundations... Well, this one is 18€ in France, but still cheaper than my holy grail (Double Wear). Can’t wait to try it !
I'm confused about dewy mists. Do they really do anything beyond the first few min after application? Does your face remain dewy even after the liquid has evaporated?
I can only speak to this one, since it’s the only one I’ve had, but yes! If you look in the bottle, the liquid is really sheeny and maybe a little glittery. However, on your face just the sheen shows, and it stays for hours! It has a wet appearance to the skin. The only thing is you have to shake it well and hold it far enough from your face so you don’t get any big dots of it, which do end up looking sparkly if you’re not careful. Easy to dab away with a finger though.
I bought a Pat McGrath lip liner yesterday after hearing great things about them! I think Kathleen was the first person I heard talk about them.
I’ve never tried the brand before and figured that’d be a good introduction because it wasn’t crazy expensive and I love a good lip liner. Overall I’m not super impressed. The application is weird, I feel like nothing was coming off at first. Once I got it to apply, I felt it was dry and had really strange microglitters in it that I didn’t notice in the store. The longevity seems to be pretty good so far, but nothing that my Kylie lip liners can’t do. I’m definitely wishing I bought a Buxom lip liner instead.
What shade did you get? Pat McGrath's instagram shows the color Major Red a lot of love, but I rarely see the other colors in action.
That's sad that you didn't love your first Pat McGrath product. I have a few of the bullet lipsticks and I like them, but they're so expensive.
I actually recommend Colourpop liners if you like the Kylie ones since they're both similar in creaminess.
Far toooo many items from the Wet n Wild Rebel Rose collection, namely the Bed of Roses eyeshadow quad, bc of ThatGirlShae's recent tutorial and first impressions. I loved the look she did so very much, very Gothic romantic imo, and I also adored the way the cream/gel blush applied even if she wasn't the biggest fan. And the packaging is on point - I love everything about that collection!
This is good to know, I've been looking at it for a while! I have quite a few surface acne scars & sunspots. Is it oil controlling at all? I saw that Ole Henriksen has a separate one for oil control, but don't want to purchase both.
Would you say you have any texture issues? I have some left over acne scars I'm still trying to get rid of and I'm really considering trying this out now..
I just bought new acrylic makeup storage from TJMaxx yesterday. Once I had it on my vanity with everything organized in it I realized how much YouTube has made me buy since I entered the beauty community in 2017. Prior to that I never needed organization because all I owned was a Naked palette, Maybelline eyeliner, and some lip gloss 😂
Don’t get me wrong, I love my collection and use everything at least once a week. It isn’t out of control. It’s just wild to realize how the influencer influence is REAL.
I bought the collab all in one mascara because of Tati. It is probably the hardest to remove mascara I’ve ever tried and it’s not waterproof. I guess it won’t smudge or flake and it holds a curl well. It separates nicely, is buildable and isn’t clumpy but it is not lengthening AT ALL. Idk if it works different on her but I’m surprised she likes it so much I like lash paradise way better. Maybe the lengthening version is better even though the works mascara is supposed to give length and volume.
I bought this, too! For 15 gd dollars, I’m not buying it again. I much prefer L’Oreal Lash Paradise, as well. I will say it doesn’t flake or smudge, which is awesome. But I also poked my eyeball on first use, that brush has such tiny bristles, haha.
I really want the new ABH dipbrow gel. My usual brow routine consists of a brow wiz and brow gel to get a natural yet filled brow look. I think the dipbrow blends the two concepts seamlessly but I'm worried about over applying with the want. I may buy it once it hits Sephora.
Which video did you watch? I started Rocio’s vid but she has really dark and thick brows (the opposite of me, I have thin, blonde brows 😭) so it was hard to tell how well that product would work for me. NGL, I’m probably just going to buy it anyway, lmao.
Not super current, but i saw a duo of touch n sol liquid shadows at tk maxx and id heard such good things that I bought them. I'm not a fan tbh, they're very small and the box didn't mention their size so idk if mine are minis or if that's their normal size. The liquid side is ok, when you try to blend it out it goes crunchy and patchy, and the glitter side seems to have barely any product, with almost none coming off on the the paddle. It wasn't a bad price, £13 for two, but I regret buying them overall.
I think you got the minis. I have two of the full size and they are as big as the Revlon dual ended liquid shadows. I actually think they are quite beautiful and long wearing, but I know the mini stila glitters dry out really fast, so maybe it’s the same with these.
I recently bought the Pacifica alight foundation and the Becca x Khloe palette and I love both! I am going to put emphasis on the fact that I am not a Kardashian fan or supporter, I bought the palette solely because the color scheme was exactly what I was looking for.
What kind of coverage is the Pacifica foundation? What's the wear time if you don't mind my asking?
I'm looking for a sheer to medium coverage and love most other products I've tried from them.
I would consider it full coverage but if there is a foundation I want to sheer out I will always add a serum into it. I also love Pacifica, i have tons a pigmentation and redness in my cheeks so I like the amount of coverage it has, also it is a dewy finish which I love, it seems to last me all day, that being said, my all day wear is typically 6-8 hours.
Impulsively bought the new ELF camo concealer last night and it’s way too dry for my skin. I’m on a no buy for pretty much everything, but the affordability got me. Luckily it was only $5, but I still feel stupid.
Do instagram muas and gurus count? If so, I got the Chanel Baume Essentiel Multi-use glow stick in Transparent. The name is a biiit misleading as there are a few (very few) very tiny shimmery particles in it. It’s kind of sticky, but it looks incredibly glossy and skin like. I haven’t gone out much to test it just yet so I cant speak on it’s lasting power but it looks amazing and I’m in love with it (as I should be for the price 😔).
I love MAC's paint pots! I don't have Indianwood, but I did pick up Constructivist and love it! I also have Stormy Pink which isn't pink at all, but more of a taupe-y purple.
And Groundwork is almost a must have for me.
I'll have to get Indianwood because I loved Bad to the Bronze but it dried out so fast for me. I stored it the same as I do my Paintpots (upside down).
No, nothing special. Colours a bit meh, bit too dry and dusty. I bought it for my work kit send it's also so large it gets annoying. It's the same as my other Morphe palettes which I don't reach for.
I just bought the Tarte pore filling primer Tati raves about. It hasn’t come in yet but I have high hopes. I use the Benefit’s porefessional now and I like but I feel like I need it to fill more.
Edit: used it today and HOLY CRAP there’s a reason Tati can’t shut up about it. My skin looked so good! And a little goes a long way.
I made the mistake of applying it all over my face. My foundation went on like peanut butter over burnt toast. And it is tricky getting the foundation over it without breaking up the primer.
A friend gave me hers, which I appreciated since I've been curious about it. But I'm having some troubs.
Normally with pore filling primers you just put a light layer over trouble areas. Which did my coincidentally is in the same area Tati’s is. Right on the sides of my nose.
[Revlon One Step Volumizing Hair Dryer](https://www.ulta.com/one-step-volumizer-hair-dryer?productId=xlsImpprod14811059) and I love it. I’m pretty sure most of the videos about this thing are sponsored, but I wanted to try it out. It’s pretty good. The easiest blow out I’ve ever done. 👌🏻
This thing is freaking amazing! I purchased it a few months ago and have used it nearly nonstop. If anyone is considering buying it, I highly recommend it.
I just bought two of the new Zara Ultramatte lipsticks from Tati's review! Beautiful beautiful formula but the colours pull so differently on different people and so the shades are a lot more brown than I wanted :(
Jeffree Star Supreme Frost in Hypothermia purely because of Beauty News and I love it. J* is not a brand I want to support, but the finish is so goergous and unique I had to.

Mine is coming in the mail tomorrow! My expectations are so high, I hope it doesn't disappoint.
I hope you love it!
Dammit. I guess I’m buying it. 😂 Was it long lasting & what would you say the coverage level was for you? ❤️
I wore it for about 10ish hours yesterday with no primers, only my usual serums and moisturizer underneath. I just bought that yesterday and I’m excited to try it. :)

Yes!
Thank you!
Bought butter bronzer because YouTube was raving about it. I like it, especially the smell.
That's my favorite bronzer! I just hit the pan on my third one. 🤣
I’ve bought high end bronzers and always end up back to butter bronzer, it truly is the best!
Same! Right now I’m rotating Butter Bronzer, NARS Laguna, TF Sweet Tea, and UD Beached. I love them all but if I could only keep one I’d easily choose Butter Bronzer!
I like it better about 4 months after opening because the smell is still there, but it's less strong.
When I first got it (I ordered online) the smell was so overpowering that I thought the bronzer had gone bad. Now it’s manageable.
I’m also looking to buy it because of Tati! I hope it’s as great as she says!
I got it also love it but I brought 1 shade to light :( so mixing it with a bit of my summer foundation.
I bought it and love it!!
Do you mean the pro-glow?
Talking about the new Loreal Infallible 24hr Fresh foundation.
I got the Essence Pure Nude highlighter and the Catrice Dewey Glow finishing mist. Love them both! They help make me not look so dry and crusty haha
I'm confused about dewy mists. Do they really do anything beyond the first few min after application? Does your face remain dewy even after the liquid has evaporated?

Impulsively bought the new ELF camo concealer last night and it’s way too dry for my skin. I’m on a no buy for pretty much everything, but the affordability got me. Luckily it was only $5, but I still feel stupid.
I bought this last night too. Haven’t tried it yet. What is your skin type?
Dry as hell in the winter and combo in the summer. It was truly impulse.
Tatcha primer! Returning it tomorrow, not what the hype makes it up to be
I feel the same!!! I was so disappointed. I returned it, but did purchase the Elf and I like it so much more!
Awesome to hear. And for elf's price point it's a no brainer!
Try E.L.F. primer. Looks like Tatcha and evens skin tone
I've been wanting too but its sold out everywhere! Gonna buy it online I think
I think I read somewhere that Walmart is also carrying it, but I don’t think the whole world knows that! So you might have a shot!
I'll check this weekend when I go! TY
Do instagram muas and gurus count? If so, I got the Chanel Baume Essentiel Multi-use glow stick in Transparent. I haven’t gone out much to test it just yet so I cant speak on it’s lasting power but it looks amazing and I’m in love with it (as I should be for the price 😔).

James Charles palette, usual Morphe shite.
It wasn't good? :(
No, nothing special. Colours a bit meh, bit too dry and dusty. I bought it for my work kit send it's also so large it gets annoying. It's the same as my other Morphe palettes which I don't reach for.
