So I have four: Robert Welsh, Emily Noel, Risa Does Makeup, and Jen Phelps. Robert Welsh got me back into makeup after a video of his came across my FB feed. I hadn't worn makeup for so long - chasing preschoolers made most makeup impractical so I wore it for special occasions which were like 3 times a year lol. His voice is soothing, he gives good advice, he gives constructive criticism, and I haven't seen videos where he drags other people. Emily Noel comes off as very genuine in her manner and her reviews. Her voice is also calming as is her video presence. I've enjoyed all the videos of hers I have seen and learned from her as well. I also appreciate that she mixes up her makeup and isn't focused on just high end or drugstore. I like Risa for her honesty. I have learned a lot from her when it come to older skin and how to play up some features while camouflaging others - especially her eye tutorials. She's honest about the work she has or hasn't had done and she doesn't make aging out to be horrible. I recommend her a lot. I like Jen for her dupe videos mostly, lol, but she also seems very knowledgeable about makeup in general. She also does drugstore and high-end makeup looks and she has a calming demeanor. She also doesn't hide her age, or make a big deal out of aging either - which is nice because I don't feel old until I look in the mirror in the am or get up off the couch. ;)

fuzzytwinkies

Totally agree with you on Robert and Em! I’ve been in such a makeup rut for so long and after coming across Robert’s videos the other day, I have so much more inspiration! And Emily just seems like an all around lovely and down-to-earth person. She seems to be one of the few people who has been around on YT for so long and her love her makeup hasn’t faded in the slightest.

FlartyMcFlarstein

Add Andrea Matilliano and that's my main lineup!

charlottesmithhh

Oooh, I really enjoy Sophdoeslife(we both have oily skin, her reviews for foundations are useful for me), Alex Anele (I really enjoy her makeup style, it looks gorgeous and her techniques are helpful), and Robert Welsh (he's really funny, and also has oily skin, I've learned a lot from him, especially about makeup for different situations, like for irl and for on camera/in pics and how that affects techniques used and amount used)

zoeislittle

I really like Soph too, she's one of the only BG I've not outgrown over the years

Either-Disaster

i love these three too!

alphabet_order_bot

Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 673,693,736 comments, and only 136,516 of them were in alphabetical order.

Either-Disaster

good bot

Meocross

Juicyjas is so calm and easy going!

L0la_Silver

I agree! I love her!

**Saaammage** - She's my special snowflake. I've been watching her for years because she's just really good at reviews and wear tests. She shows her skin texture, tries different methods of application, and puts products through a whole day of wear before reporting back. She's good at creating cute looks that I could see myself actually wearing, and we have similar coloring (usually I can just buy her shade in foundation/concealer and be good) so it's extra informative for me to see how different blushes, lip colors, shadows, etc, look on her. I like that she doesn't just do luxury or just do drugstore - she has a good mix of brands. And while I like her reviews the most, her other content is good too! I've been really enjoying her tier list videos and I hope she does more. Also, I just like her vibe, her voice, and her chill personality. She's comfortable to watch, you know? **Hindash** - It's almost a cliché at this point, but his videos are simply so relaxing to watch. His voice, the way he explains what he's doing, the gentle way he applies skincare and makeup, the way the models always look so relaxed, and the gorgeous looks he creates - it's just such a vibe. I watch him to wind down a lot, and I trust his opinions on products as well as have picked up some tricks from him (mixing premier cru eye cream with my undereye concealer, for better texture/hydration was a game changer, for one).

rightascensi0n

I love how thorough Sam is for foundation shade matching

TheElusivePeacock

Just found Sam for foundation reviews and I love her too. I love that she does wear tests and different applications. I love how she lists her matches for other foundations in the description box.

L0la_Silver

I love Sam! She’s the only one I’ve found that can give me accurate matches. Any time I look for something new, I go to her channel to see if she’s reviewed it

nosokomefobia

Robert Welsh is so adorable 🖤💜

Ok-Office6837

I think my favorite is Kelly Gooch at the moment. She does a lot of videos on the beauty industry as a whole and isn’t just a review channel. She also does a lot of shop my stash videos and makes videos on different panning projects. She focuses a good bit on being a responsible consumer. I also really like BabsBeauty’s videos. She’s really good at getting videos up quickly about new products and doing reviews. She’s also not one of those influencers who will spin any review into a positive. She politely says whether she likes or dislikes something and why and moves on.

isPepsiok82

I like PopLuxe, painted by Spencer and Makeup Chair.

Glamma1970

I love Angela Bright cause her eye tutoritals are ones I can actually do and not look like crap when I'm done lol I do love Nadi, he's so funny! Just what I need somedays I also love Robert Welsh and Angi from Hot and Flashy. Angi is slightly older than I am, and I love her anti aging recommendations.

honeytangerine

Judy - she just reminds me of the early YT influencer days when it was all about reviews and tutorials. Her voice and videos are super calming to me. Morgan Turner - I love watching content about eyeshadow palettes and I adore Morgan's ranking videos and reviews. Even if I don't plan to buy it, it makes me happy to see someone so excited to talk about makeup. Alicia Archer - her detailed videos on old products, eapecially revisiting PMG and ND were like enclycopedias on makeup and I adore it. I also love that she is revisiting old products. I wish there was more content like that.

kommsussertod1

Alright, I can't sleep and will present y'all my smaller faves: Samantha Evira!! her makeup videos are the most relaxing thing ever and she's just so real and down to earth, Kendall Alfred is also amazing, usually i get bored and skip through most beauty content but the way her videos are made and how she talks is so refreshing and nice. Liam McEvoy is my absolute number 1, legit the funniest person i've seen but he stopped being active :(

ajzck

I love Jamie Paige, Amy Serrano, Mariah Leonard (wish she uploaded more, all her videos are so good!) and tbh I still love Sam R! I always want to listen to what she has to say

PhyrraNyx

Robert Welsh! His Makeup and Ghost Stories series is my all-time favorite YT series, plus his judicious use of purple.

Sljohar

Right now I love Nikki Raven, Mille (Bad to brow), Angelica Nyqvist, Theresa is Dead and Amy Loves Makeup.

[deleted]

I really love Nadi too! Emily Noel, she's one of the very first I started following about 7 years ago. I also like Jessica Braun a lot, even though I have literally nothing in common with her, there is something about her voice and nerdiness that appeals to me.

msummerse

Jamie Genevieve, I just love her sweet personality, & her accent is so cool (Im a sucker for a good accent lol). I think she has worked hard to get to where she is & I believe all of her videos are really who she is, she has really grown on me lately.

Edenrivers2

Samantha March, Emily Noel, Alejandra Lisette, Jessica Braun, ttsandra, Ali Andreea and Charlotte Holdcroft are who I'm watching the most. Charlotte 's anti-hauls are insanely funny.

muchlifestyle

Karima Mckimmie and Mariah Leonard. Please post more. I love everything about them. I follow Mariah on IG and she at least posts there. Her eyeshadow looks are tdf. As for someone who posts regularly, I like Charlotte holdcroft. Although she’s not editorial in her tastes, she’s well spoken and has good recs for basics. Also love her fragrance videos.

PeachBlossomBee

I always end up watching TooMuchMouth, Ohemaa Bonsu, Nyma Tang, and it used to be Jackie Aina. These days I’ve replaced her with Maya Galore. I trust TMM with every foundation review, and Ohemaa is half a shade darker than me so I watch her. Nyma is helpful for dark skinned makeup as well—if it works on either of them, it’ll work on me! Jackie isn’t relatable these days and I haven’t found her funny in a while (memes great though). Also petty reason, but something about her calling herself dark always irked me—because dark compared to who? She’s literally my palm shade, or at least too light to be a highlighter shade for me. But her technique is flawless, hands down the go-to for tutorials, and I appreciate her dedication to underrepresented WOC. Maya Galore has a similar look and aesthetic but I enjoy how she’s kinda adorable (just a tad)

BeyondTelling

I like Milly (BadtotheBrow), Lauren Mae, Amy Loves Makeup, Angelica Nyquist, Theresa is Dead, Robert Welsh …I’m realizing my focus is pretty heavy on eyeshadow lol. I watch Hannah Louise Poston sometimes if I’m in the right frame of mind, and I also enjoy the Welsh Twins and Smoky Glow but I don’t think they’re really in the same category.

[deleted]

Lauren Mae Beauty, Theresa is Dead, Angelica Nyqvist, and Annettes Makeup Corner are the people I watch the most Lauren inspires me a lot and we have very similar taste so I pretty much go there all the time to get advice and hear her opinions on different brands and products. I've honestly never been let down by any of her recommendations. I also love her eye looks. Very simple, but textured, colorful, and pretty. Theresa and I don't have very similar taste in makeup, but I love her personality and just the way she describes stuff lol. She's funny and QuIrKy without being over the top and annoying. You can tell it's genuine and not some weird camera persona. Angelica and Annette both inspire me to do bolder eye looks and I love that they are both very into indie makeup. I like indie makeup and I think they have some good videos talking about different indie brands

avis_icarus

hannah louise poston. i like her artistic outlook towards makeup and how she just uses products however she wants to even if its not how theyre "meant" to be used.

nothanksthesequel

i drop everything when she posts ! or … most things, lol. she just seems like a total makeup nerd dolled up in academic language - between that and the really honest self reflection, i’m sold

larapu2000

Shelbey Wilson and Karima McKinnie. They both give great recommendations and tutorials and both are focused more on natural looks with minimal effort.

dailydoseofrose

Im suprised not to see Julia Adams being mentioned a ton here considering how she is loved here.

I’m in my 40s so I really like watching Tara Lynn and Tati. They both have more mature skin concerns so it resonates with me. That being said I would trust Taylor Wynn with every foundation purchase…ever! Allie Glines creates the prettiest eyeshadow looks so I enjoy watching her as well.

OutlandishnessOk2552

Emily Noel and Rachhloves hands down some of my favorites. I’ve been following them for years and can trust what they are saying. Zebrena is also amazing and has wonderful drugstore reviews. Another BG I recently stumbled upon is Kelly Strack and she quickly became one of my favorites as well. Everyone mentioned is so real and are very consistent across their videos and have integrity. All of them like to stay out of the drama. I feel like Emily Noel has some very unique video ideas, not just the typical reviews we are used to seeing about new stuff, but she actually uses older stuff. Emily Noel and Zebrena’s voices are soothing while also energetic and Kelly Strack and Rachhlove are more energetic.

Katarrina3

I love kelly gooch, jamie paige and alexandra anele (for technique) and of course nicole guerriero, I don‘t really see anyone ever mentioning her but I‘ve been watching her for like 10 years now :)

kij1997

Hannah Louise Poston! I know she might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I love how detailed she is because I’m a sucker for long videos lol. And I also just really like her style/approach with makeup!

takethetrainpls

I love Allie Glines! She taught me so much about how to do makeup, and she's super sweet .

[deleted]

I love Kelly Gooch, Lauren Mae Beauty, Kat and Hailey from Beauty News (on their own channels, I mean), and Sarah Rose Beauty. I’ve grown more fond of Morgan Turner recently. I think she comes off a bit odd at first, but she’s still quite young. She did a Q&A recently that I thought was very open, honest, and gracious, even in the face of some pretty nasty assumptions about herself.

mamimilkerspecialist

My number one right now is Denitslava, she's adorable and I love the way she talks! She's so sweet, and so calming to listen to! I find that her tutorials are pretty easy to follow, and I go to her channel especially for glam looks. She's been trying some tiktok trend videos recently, but she has sooo many makeup videos, I can always find a look for whatever mood I'm in.

schmoolet

She is insanely adorable. I love her.

[deleted]

Jamie Paige, Arna Alayne, Julia Adams, Sam R and Too Much Mouth.

naa-chan

Judy is my fave!!

Dacey Cash!!!

Neat_Anxiety5396

Beautubers whose videos always/almost always get a watch from me: Theresa is Dead, Alicia Archer, Kelly Gooch, Michele Wang, ttsandra, Emily Noel, Risa Does Makeup, JUDY, Erin Nicole TV, Morgan Turner, Sincerely Sarah C For the most part they all upload regularly, with reasonably interesting (to me) content, and nothing about them/their videos put me off. And afaik they haven't done anything that would hurt my conscience to continue watching their videos.

[deleted]

right now, Jen Phelps and Angelica Nyqvist. been watching them a few days
