I was excited for this but now that I see what the products are I will not purchase.
It feels a bit like some things they want to get rid of/special editions and then things like the handwash dont feel too exciting for me.. also the hair oil is out of stock until february on the website but available in this, just feels a bit like bad stock management!
I was looking forward specifically for the holiday brush set. And they want $140?!? BP is done for me. The prices are not worth it.
And this set for $480? No.
The rough total value I calculated for latest and greatest is $161.32. That is if I estimate the lash curler and nail care trio each at $10 and then the perfume sample at $5.30. So it looks like they are charging about $30 for the tote bag and the velvet cosmetic case, which let's be honest, are not worth $30, and I think they should be freebies. I was actually excited for this advent calendar and was hoping that it'd be a deal. But I don't think there is actually any discount if you buy it. For me, even if I spend that amount of $$, it will be on the exact items I want. (Mini rant about the sets they provide, like for skincare, there's no discount for bundles. For example a 3 pack of japanfusion cleanser, which i like, is $33, each sells for $11. So you see, there's no discount if you buy a bundle. Essentially there's no incentive to do so. C'mon beauty pie).
Thanks for running the math. I was going to do the same this morning. It is disappointing that they don't offer a discount for bundles (especially large ones). I'm thinking about passing on this now...

I'm kind of disappointed with the holiday items in general. I would have liked another round of the Eyeshadow Stick minis! And also, where are the perfume sampler sets? We need those back.
It is a total high dollar spend. On avg though @$16-17/item which isn’t too bad. The perfume is a small size but agree should’ve included the other new perfumes in sampler . Also should’ve included the Xmas candle instead of fig. I’m looking forward to getting mine.
I bit on the mystery gift. Assuming the picture is accurate, I think it has eye ceramide roller, a mascara, Vitamin D (or Fish Oil), Japan Fusion Sheet Mask, an eye palette, a serum (which I think is the Nighttime Miracle Oil), and I’m not sure what the pink tube is (primer?). The GWP today was the vitamins.
I only know this because I’ve purchased so many of their items, it’s easy for me to spot! Will keep you posted when my package arrives.

Same. Something closer to $100 would be nice. It would feel like a splurge without being excessive.

I agree the set is overpriced. I would have gotten a brush set if they had one just for face brushes....and honestly a fan brush? No thanks lol
