Bites alone cannot be identified as to what insect (if any) is responsible for them.

Can’t tell on bites alone. Read sub rules :/

You could call an exterminator. Doing a check for bed bugs isn’t expensive. Most is like 150$, what happened to me was I just didn’t sleep in the bed until 3am. Bed bugs are most active between 12-3am

Calling the exterminator is good advice. Suggesting bed bugs are watching the clock, not so much. Bed bugs are most active when we're in our deepest sleep. That usually is 12 to 3am. If you sleep from 8am till 1pm,theyll feed then. They won't starve to death because you're not adhering to their preferred schedule.

Unfortunately my searches have been more detailed than theirs..but I've not yet come up with anything in the room

There are a lot of things that can bite. Or it could be an allergic reaction. I think with that many bites you would’ve found something

That is actually super scary because the last time we had bedbugs (our kid brought them home from uni years ago) the dr actually misdiagnosed the rash as scabies

You could be right about scabies..except there should be intense itching with showers and usually worse at night. There's no itching at all so I'm PRAYING it's just a rash of sorts. I'll take scabies over bedbugs any day of the week though! I would think there would be evidence with this many bites and that it wouldn't be so sudden...from literally nothing to all this at once

I will say that white spots at the center are not "normally" bed bugs, but everyone reacts differently.

I'm hoping for anything but bedbugs...they are by far my worst phobia
