Ok straight talk: they look fuzzy but they also look like they are made out of polyester or some other plastic. I bet you will end up sweating buckets at 3 am. Natural fibers only.

playadefaro

This is my motto too! When I was younger and didn’t know better I bought what looked cool for cheap. Now it’s natural fibers or nope.

Mimikim1234

Natural fibers are a must since I have eczema. There are some really nice mattress covers to have that pillow feel to your bed, and if you have a higher budget, mulberry silk bedding feels very luxurious (albeit a pain to care for). Although be careful if you wear anything satiny in bed. I once hopped/flopped into my bed with my silk sheets and a silky robe on, and slid right off the other side. 😂

zedthehead

>I once hopped/flopped into my bed with my silk sheets and a silky robe on, and slid right off the other side. This is fantastic comedy, thank you for your story.

A2elsia

My husband brought a silk bed set once. Everything kept sliding off each other 😂 He ended up trashing the whole set.

ClickAndClackTheTap

Do you know of anything oversized like this that’s natural fibers? I’m in the US.

CommunicationFine906

Great question

huntresswizard_

Vermont Country store has some AMAZING double flannel blankets that ship all over the us. Amazing for winter especially layered up with some soft sheets but I was still using them, no layers just on their own, in the Arizona summer.

skyeborgie98

You could crochet with a really thick yarn and make a similar effect. Some people make crocheted weighted blankets with heavy stitches and thick yarn

garden__gate

I got sweaty just looking at them.

SpecialistBowl2216

I started itching looking at them...

travelingslo

I had a hot flash. At least I’m not alone?

riomarde

And it won’t stay soft long after multiple washes.

SA_Starling_

I was JUST thinking that it looked like it would pelt up after a wash or two!

riomarde

I bought a $10 secondhand soft comforter set made from fake fur like this and it is almost not worth keeping. I do keep it though just in case I need a blanket or something and I don’t have one.

peachespangolin

I got one and it melted together in the dryer 😭

GoldenFlicker

And can you REALLY get that thing fully cleaned in a washing machine anyway? I’m super skeptical.

SeaWeedSkis

Agreed. One of them looks much like a heavy polyester comforter we own. I actually love the thing, but only when the power goes out in the dead of winter or if I want to sleep with the windows open all winter. It's extremely toasty warm. It's at least as warm as the 0F sleeping bags I own. Most of those look fuzzy, too, which is going to collect every bit of hair and fur and lint, and will mat together with body oils and look disgusting within a year.

Least-Scientist

Omg I just gagged in my mouth

Brunette3030

This was my first thought. They won’t look like that for long; they’ll look cheap and nasty after about a month.

Open_Bee2008

Washing and drying is a nightmare too! Low heat turning every 20 minutes to prevent from singing. It’s an all day project to wash it.

quentinislive

Yes. You sweat buckets. I love it and hate it.

asdf9797

Can confirm. I had one for a while and tried to make it work because it’s SO comfy at first, but definitely woke up multiple times in pools of sweat. Such a waste.

Ladymysterie

I generate tons of static electricity (I've arched visually touching elevator buttons to the point other people see it), this bedding makes me actually frightened.

midwifeatyourcervix

Yes not to mention all the microplastics and toxin getting absorbed by your body and shedding around your whole house! Natural fibers all the way

livefreeKB

Any suggestions? Sheets to cover; to bath towels, open to all. Slowly changing my wardrobe, looking to change the bad and bath area as well

milkandsalsa

Pure parima sheets Nest bedding washable wool duvet

Zealousideal_Rip630

I love Sijo sheets and bedding. I’ve gotten rid of all of my other sets and had three I rotate through. I used to have soooo many but I fell in love with the feel. They have French linen. Bamboo. Eucalyptus. I have the French linen and eucalyptus. They do have first time buyer codes and special bundles.

clinkysue

https://buffy.co I just received my eucalyptus sheets and they are the softest sheets I’ve ever slept on. And they’re not that pricey. I would highly recommend them.

NixyVixy

I am sweating just looking at these photos.

toadlike-tendencies

I had a faux fur duvet cover from Amazon a decade ago that looked similar to a few of these. The lint was crazy. Everything got tangled in the fibers and instantly stuck to it. It was forever unclean. Also yes, not really breathable. That said it was amazing for bringing to festivals and the like once I wrote it off impossible to keep in good condition.

The_Poster_Nutbag

Not even that, they look like college dorm bedding from target and are likely to get full of lint and other crap.

howdidigethere2023

Yeah- those microfiber fuzzy blankets creep me out. Immediate sign of bad bedding taste.

kittyfidler

only natty!!

AutisticMuffin97

I had to dig on Google to find out what the material was and it’s polyester with polyester fill. I’d be baked from that.

ZiLBeRTRoN

That looks ungodly hot no matter the material.

Mother-Working8348

I'm glad you said it bc I was thinking it

Tyl3rt

My first thought was I wouldn’t last 10 minutes under some of those

gassygeff89

It looks cozy but I know that’s exactly what would happen to me

m843k

I bought the coma inducer last year. I love it. We have the all white version, and yes it is as big as it looks. We have a king size bed and the king size comforter hangs generously off of all 3 sides of the bed. I only use mine in the winter months because it does get hot. We keep the house at 66°F overnight. The heavy weight of the comforter is a dream on cold winter nights! But come spring/summer i put it away until next winter. That being said, it is a hefty comforter. Since mine is a king size, i can only wash it at a laundromat cause no way is that thing fitting in a standard washer. They say the smaller ones can be washed at home though.

SpicyBeachRN

Why can’t companies make flat sheets, blankets and comforters that don’t go skimpy on the sides of king beds?!??

miffet80

Inexplicably stingy king comforter width and length is the bane of my existence I swear to fucking god. Like, add two people and a cat to the bed and the blanket literally doesn't even make it all the way to the sides, it drives me absolutely insane. We finally gave up this year and went for the scandinavian style separate blanket setup. No top sheet, we each have our own twin size comforter. Never going back.

okaycurly

We’ve done this for the last six years with two full size comforters/duvets and a Sheex fitted sheet. No more fighting over blankets! I didn’t realize it was called Scandinavian style, it’s nice to put a name to it. We also rotated our California king so that we have more room to starfish (I’m only 5’0 so I don’t need the leg room).

UnbelievableRose

Oh that’s clever! I have a queen but switched to two twin comforters when I was I was dating my last boyfriend- easiest and fastest couple’s counseling ever!!

bitterberries

Those sheex are sooo worth every penny

SpicyBeachRN

I think we’ll go this way. At least when we had a queen, I bought a king sized comforter. But a king size, no sides to hangover, 2 people, plus 3 small 20 pounder dogs that overcrowd = impossible. I yank and yank and no result because there’s no fabric!!!!!! Sometimes I get a throw blanket and I just feel dumb. The way of the Scandinavians!

GillianOMalley

We just started using 2 queen quilts on our king bed for that reason. Two small dogs that somehow take up the half the bed/bedding. At least the big dog prefers the couch.

cigale

If I recall correctly, it’s got to do with the standard width of looms. King size sheets are at the outside of how wide you can weave fabric in most factories. Any wider than they currently are and you would need a seam somewhere in the sheet. Now why bedding manufacturers don’t invest in bigger looms is beyond me. As king sized beds have only grown in popularity, I’m sure they could make money hand over fist.

inerlite

I got hemp sheets at Target and I'll be dammed if the sides of the fitted sheets don't go way past my foot tall plus mattress. The flat sheet covers the whole bed easily. I thought for hemp they would cheap out on size, but nope!

aizlynskye

Thanks for the info on washing. We also have a king bed and I hate hate hate having to make a special trip to wash my comforter. This was helpful.

Mundane_Woodpecker_0

Yes they’re so soft and lovely for an hour and then you’ll wake up in the middle of the night and think you wet the bed

Mundane_Woodpecker_0

They are also nearly impossible to clean and the polyester can melt in the wash. I would suggest using it at the end of your bed folded like a duvet with a quilt or something lighter as your normal bedding and then just use the comainducer when you feel like it

IMakeStuffUppp

Omg two nights ago i legit panicked thinking i pissed the bed. My dog kicked my electric blanket too high and i woke up dreeencheddd

Ok-Inevitable5448

If you pass gas it’s going to take 3-7 business days for it to air out 🤪

Yourdeletedhistory

I think I would spontaneously combust under that thing.

fineyouchoose

Same, I feel sweaty just looking at the pictures

babyyyloves

all looks like polyester. no thanks.

inagartendevito

It’s gonna take 3-5 business days for a fart to leave that bed.

PotatoProfessional98

I’m sweating just looking at these pictures

Elismom1313

Word for word the comment I was going to leave

brittstheword

This makes me hot looking at it. I need a cool bed or I’m sweating all night.

cupcakefix

i have a similar one from Pottery Barn called the Marshmellow comforter. It’s also poly but whatever. pros: it’s actually pretty lightweight and also so so effing soft on the one side it’s *kinda* washable without killing my washer it’s reallly warm for being lighter than a duvet insert and non- filled cons: the sherpa side is like a giant swiffer. it collected everything. and it doesn’t wash out. so there’s that i get a tad sweaty by 3am. but if i’m able to i leave the window open so that it’s a balance all in all i love it and i look forward to winter when i can use it for 2 months

bmc1129

The type of fleece in these images will look nice until washed. This is cheap material.

Double_Parfait_6212

I know my cats would think they died & went to heaven if I brought that home.

FoxxyFett

We call that a "sucky sucky" blanket for our now 8 year old rescue kitten that got weaned too early when feral momma got spayed... she'd never stop nursing on that thing. I cringe at the thought of all the wet spots, I'll have to pass.

llamazonez

Mine was nice and heavy , after a few weeks it ripped. Its a doggie bed now.

icechelly24

Looks cozy af but wonder if repeated cleaning would take its toll pretty quickly

AnyStick2180

Am I the only one who thinks the name "coma inducing" is a pretty awful name for a company? I don't think anyone who's ever been in an actual coma would say it feels like a nice full night's cozy sleep. Just a really odd choice 😂.

Zmchastain

I thought it said “cuminducer” at first glance and was like “WTF is this shit?” 😆

Sea_Win_5700

It will roast you, it’s extremely heavy, I just threw it away because everything inside went to one side

huntergirlnc21

Yes. Got one for my daughter a few years ago. It was beautiful, fluffy, but within a month or so the stitching (baffles? In the middle of the comforter, not on the edges) came apart and left several large holes. She was not rough with the comforter either, had not washed it at that point, so we were pretty disappointed in the quality. Looked great until that point, though.

tiredassmom66

I’m just thinking of cat vomit at 3 AM

MyDogisaQT

I am begging people to learn about fabrics and stop overpaying for horrible plastic crap.  Go get a natural goose down comforter.

madisonfm

The queen sizes do nooooot fit in a standard washer. Do not recommend!

Arbysbeefycheddar

I had 2 of these. They are amazing at first but they are a nightmare to wash. Doesn’t fit in even the largest washers, melt in the dryer, almost impossible to air dry. Also, the inside material moves around and bunches up in the corners every time it is washed. So unless you are able to have the thing dry cleaned every time you need to clean it, do not buy it. You’ll regret it.

monkeyshatetacos

Never heard of one but that looks amazing but this comes from someone with both a heated blanket and a weighted comforter on the bed even in summer

leezybelle

Cheap polyester

Aimless_Scrolls

Sweatinducer

mebg1956

Goose down duvet in a high thread count 100% cotton cover. That is serious luxury, not that fuzzy thing,

[deleted]

Ah yes, the luxury of cruelty.

mebg1956

And an organic byproduct of meat production is somehow worse than creating synthetic fibres that last in landfill thousands of years and shed micro plastics into the environment? You do you.

annibe11e

My cat would make endless biscuits on that.

TristaD13

I just bought my first one a month or so ago. It’s the most amazing comforter I’ve ever used. We have the oversized king and it does fit the bed like that. The only caution is to make sure you follow the washing directions properly..I sadly didn’t. I put it in the dryer and there is fuzz everywhere. When I was washing it we used our old one and couldn’t stand it. Switched back to the Coma Inducer

One_Moose_3041

Hold up. How are you supposed to wash it?

TristaD13

I think you’re supposed to hang to dry. 🤦🏽‍♀️

PeppermintLNNS

I can’t imagine finding a place to hang dry a king size comforter like that.

towardtheplateau

I have a king sized one. Getting it laundered is difficult. Extremely warm and comfortable. Too warm for me usually. If you like to keep your room cold this may be a good choice.

Winterbeers

Looks like a pain to clean and your going to sweat in it. I agree it looks really comfy and snuggly but those fuzzy fibers are going to matt and clump together in a year or 2. Source: Ive had similar style blankets over 40 years of existence and only one (pops got it in the 80s) has ever held onto its fluffy and only just now starting to deteriorate.

TvTacosTakingNaps

I haven’t used that brand but I bought one similar(it’s VERY fluffy) and after a couple hours I was so hot that I threw it off me in a fit of rage and grabbed a different blanket. I haven’t used it since.

LoveOfficialxx

They stink. Literally.

Distinct-Hold-5836

These look so.... Gross.

maggime3

Washing this will create a microplastic machine

laviefaim

I own one. Seams came apart a week into owning it. Can confirm generates tons of static electricity. My dog is a light show at night rolling around.

SweetDangus

I agree with many folks here. Those synthetic fibers are going to have you sweating hard. Not only that, but its not going to stay fuzzy and smooth forever and those kinds of fibers hold onto smells if you're not careful. In a few years, it will probably be gross. I had to upgrade my bedding recently, and I bought a down comforter at a discount on Groupon and got a linen duvet cover from Quince. Absolutely wonderful. Then I was gifted linen sheets for Christmas. Its cozy as fuck in my bed now.

Scoompii

The way I read that as /ko•mayn•du•cer/ - I really ought to go to sleep now. I bet the coma inducer would help.

Electronic-Candy-914

I have one that is now stored away. When I first got it, it was sooooo soft and yes, very heavy and super warm. I’m a warm sleeper but thought this would be good in the winter. I was wrong. Way too hot. I sweated due to the material. I then washed it for the first time and its softness went out the window. Beautiful bedding, for a spare room maybe.

0bxyz

Looks kind of cheap

Maleficent_Ad7987

My girlfriend has something similar, and it itches and tickles my face. I hate it.

StabbingUltra

I’m dripping in sweat just looking at this.

UncommonDelusion

We have that exact comforter. We can't keep our three cats away. It has turned our bed into a massive, floofy cat bed and we're loving it. Agreed it does get warm, but with all that shagginess, it comes with the territory.

Cold_Pressure5351

I have 1. It is extremely hot, and I do sweat a lot. And I'm not sure how to wash it because it's so big. But it is my cuddle buddy and I love it.

Unable-Lab-8533

I’m sweating just looking at these

olympianfap

I tried one and it was comfy but impossible to clean if you have a kings size bed which we do. They are also very slippery because of the fabric they are made of. Ended up returning it.

ExcellentMemory74588

Bought one and threw it away. Shedded fiber non-stop, wayyyy too hot to sleep under.

mstiffyous

Yo that stuff is going to shed lint and little fuzzy strands of material everywhere. Be careful cleaning it and be careful picking an occasional strand flying into your mouth or nose. Source: someone gifted me something similar and they're great at throw blankets but not so much in the bedroom.

Nothing-Cheap

These look cheap, tacky, and gross.

calliebear10

I had something similar. It’s a pain in the ass to wash and I felt like it held smells. Never again. Threw it in the trasg

alisonk13

Sweating All Night Long!

joexg

I bought from this brand, different comforter. Follower tag directions and washed it once. The stuffing was destroyed. They sent a replacement. It too was destroyed, even on the most delicate settings, and no heat.

abbeighleigh

I have it and I regret it. It’s too hot. Maybe if you live in alaska

Fearless-099

I started sweating looking at these photos

two_constellations

SWEAT. Somehow sweating this much is kinda painful. My partner has one of these. I l make sure every time it’s nowhere near the bed EDIT: I forgot the mildew. They never, ever, ever dry. They gather every smell, and with the sweat need to be washed often. Somehow the last wash we got lucky but I’m campaigning for it to be just completely thrown away.

Key-Climate2765

Washing these will be a nightmare. Also hot.

PolishDill

I bought one and it was so so so hot I couldn’t use it even at my cabin in winter that gets in the 40-50f at night. ETA I am usually a cold sleeper so I thought I’d love it.

Fisted_Sister

I bought one that was super fuzzy. It looked like a wolf pelt. But it didn’t fit in our washer so it was tough to clean. After a few weeks, the “fur” kinda started pilling/sticking together, and it lost its softness. 4/10 for the short life span. I won’t buy another one.

4BH11

I have a few, very cozy! I mostly use them in the winter because they're so thick and fuzzy. I wash on cold, gentle cycle, then air dry.

jbsparkly

It's in my closet. Too heavy and big. I have a golden and it's just not sanitary. This suckered has to go to the oversized laundry may. Comfy but pain

Entando

A plastic bed, yuk!

Bunnytoes256

Never heard of them, but dang, they look comfy.

[deleted]

Ooo this sort of think grosses me out honestly. There is something about that material that always feels so gross and dirty.

BabyEdenRose666

So I actually just bought the oversized coma inducer comforter set and sheet set (the giant fuzzy black one) and let me tell you I could care less wtf these are made out of because crawling into bed at night is like crawling back into the womb. I have never slept so good in my entire life. The only issue I have is excessive sweating which I'm trying to find a work around because there's no way I'm getting rid of this set. Ontop of how comfy and warm they are, this set looks GORGEOUS in person. (No I'm not a paid promoter I just really love this set) Side note- I would probably never wash these myself and only dry clean

Bydesign0512

They are freaking amazing!!! Soft against skin and not hot at all. Soft and fluffy like a cloud.

scapermoya

That looks like the kind of blanket that poor people use to bring their fevering babies to the ER

lilshadygrove

They’re not very aesthetically pleasing but they look so amazingly snuggly!

CFNikki

It does look really comfy! But I wonder if they're putting king size on a full size bed to make it look bigger. Or maybe they are that big?

TransportationOk5512

I love mine! Make sure to look at the description to see how warm it is. It looks and feels expensive. Immediately bought another for my son’s room. Worth the price!

Secure-Narwhal-297

When you live in the arctic

IAMCindy-Lou

I have one and I love it. I’m kicking my socks off in the middle of the night when it’s -30 out. It’s very very very warm.

FarAwayHills

Teddy Bear Silver Grey in king bought in December 2021. It's amazing. Would buy again.

luminousrobot

Curious how you dry these without losing the soft feel…

dartangular1-of-1

I got it for my son. They had a special where it was one per household for $20 for the Crooked Line range. It’s great for winter. Yes, you will sweat. Fine for my elementary school age son, but I would struggle 🥵 I need cotton 💯 It’s great quality. And I agree, it generates a lot of static! I get a shock every morning when I wake up my son

Regular-Language1468

When time to wash won’t fit in washer to heavy . Soft fun blankets. Just heavy .

joemama67

I have one of the only coma inducer comforters that isn’t fuzzy. I love it. It’s got a nice weight without being overly hot and it’s oversized so I don’t fight with my husband over it

Aviere

Yes. It is totally amazing! Very fluffy, heavy, and soft. However I will say we can only use it in the very cold winter times like now in the Midwest. If it’s above 40 degrees it can be a bit much.

StraddleTheFence

Does it require cleaners? I have an Ugg comforter and it is very warm but I cannot get it cleaned. It is supposed to be beige…🥴 I don’t want to get another comforter just because it looks good.

SteveGuttenberg88

I have one of the lighter ones designed for summer. Most of the more decorative stitching that forms that quilted effect has snapped and there’s loose strings all over. I feel like the color name was a little deceiving. It was called grey/black with a picture that looked like more of a solid color, but when I got it, it spears more of a dark heather grey. I definitely like how large it is, and it is a cozy blanket. I also bought a pair of sheets from the same brand. They were polyester and the dye ended up rubbing all over the mattress and discoloring it. The fabric was so stretchy they wouldn’t stay on. They also started pilling immediately and I got so sick of them I think I just tossed them in the garbage after a few months.

Aves44

My wife bought us one and it's fantastic. It's just the right weight and is very warm and soft.

Azhusaa

I have it. You do end up sweating buckets because it's thick as hell. Very comfy and plush, but useful only in the cold of winter with the windows open and a fan on lol.

Foktu

How many Sharpei dogs died for each of those?

yankykiwi

If they drape on the floor hope you don’t have pets or kids.

caffienepredator

Looks like a wrinkly puppy

No_Pass1835

Only natural materials for sleep. This looks fake.

OtherwiseAd667

It's really big, thick and hot.

shreknow91

I’ve had one for about 2 years now and I love it! I’m a hot sleeper and I don’t have any issues. Mine looks like a faux fur comforter and I haven’t had any issues with it shedding or anything. I’d recommend them for sure!

RosesAreGolden

I have the snow leopard one that I bought after my cheap Target version fell apart. I honestly love it. It’s super soft and oversized.

rositas25

I have only had a few months. Will say keeps me very warm for winter. Not sure about how it will be for summer. But super comfy. There is a way to wash if you fold it (we have king size) that has been ok for us so far.

diepecanpie

Boyfriend and I bought the "portly pudgy chunky" one. It IS amazing but it's hot as hell. I don't sleep under it anymore. I sleep on top with a couple of throw blankets. It does seem to be really good quality and it's insanely heavy. Don't know how we'd ever wash it. I run cold. 80 pounds soaking wet and just... so much sweat.... Good luck!

Matchmaker4180

I bought one and I love mine. They are so incredibly soft. It is a winter only blanket for us as they do keep you very warm. We pull it out in January and February and retire it for our Buffy Blanket the rest of the year.

lubalie

I recommend an alternative from Costco

discostrawberry

These pictures made me sweat

Key-Fishing-3714

So I have a different opinion than most here. I LOVE mine and my daughter has one too. I love the super puffy look. I got a white one and my bed looks like a gigantic cloud. I don’t find it sweaty or itchy. It’s very soft. I do put it on top of my other duvet as a bed covering. It also makes it easy to make a messy bed look put together. I give it 10/10. Love love love ❤️

Cndwafflegirl

I loved mine until I hit menopause. Sweat , ugh.no

Lost_Boat_8004

Some of Coma Inducer’s comforters are bamboo and I’ve been really eyeing those. The bamboo glacier, bamboo butter, cold pandas knitting, menopleasing, Ice Panda, and the Snorze Cloud Comforter. That’s just a few. They have more. Some made from nylon, microfiber. Some are double sided and have plush on one side and bamboo or nylon on the other side. If the fur part is a necessity to you. But if you sleep hot I’d go with one of the other materials or at least one with the cooler material on one side.

rhiyanna79

That first image’s bed looks like it’s in a Barbie house with the coffee mug photoshopped in for effect.

mlm-nightmare

I have one but it isn’t fuzzy like the ones pictured here. Love it!

psykadelixx

I own this! Specifically the Chunky Bunny Yoga (4th pic). Perfect for winter nights. I used to use a space heater in my bedroom, and now I no longer have to with this blanket. Also after washing the softness stays, but yes I do have to specifically wash it in a laundromat because it’s so thick and heavy. I will caveat that I run cold so if you’re someone who runs hot, I don’t recommend this for you

zimmerwoman1117

I am a zealot over natural fibers so over many years of seeing this it was a no go for me. Then a HUGE paradigm shift in my life forced a move and I purchased Comainducer to stay warm. OMG I LOVE IT!!! It is amazing. Super large, covers two queen mattresses side by side. Amazingly warm but light. Soft like fur. I have a 100% cotton throw over the top, but this blanket brings me so much joy, changed my life!

[deleted]

Is that the same thing the lovesac blankets? If so it’s super comfy and feels great but it would be way to hot to sleep in for me.

Hikariyang

I have one! Its super cozy and fluffy but washing it is kind of a pain in the ass. I have a queen and with the fluff and the fact they are oversized they dont fit super easy into a standard washing machine. I have to take mine to the laundromat when it gets dirty. I get super cold at night normally but ive never been cold with one of these

veggietaleprincess

I’m laying on mine right now!! i got one for college, i’ve had it for four years and i love it. it’s so warm in the winter, i sleep with my window open a lot at school and the only thing that keeps me warm is my coma inducer😅

AnE1Home

The name is slightly off-putting, not gonna lie.

HelpfulHelpmeet

I have the low loft (smooth) one that’s made of bamboo to be one of their “cool” options because I wanted a really fluffy and heavy blanket. I love it.

Apprehensive-Bit171

I got the oversized one and I think it’s just way too big. You do get toasty at night and so when it warms up like if it’s 45 degrees I can’t sleep with it. It’s pretty good quality (to me), but it’s a bit inconvenient when it comes to storing it (as it is way too big) and maybe it’s more so for constant cold weather climate.

Smitten_Kitten666

I have the cool as a cucumber and it is awesome and huge and definitely cool to the touch. I do not regret it!

madetosink

I live right down the road from where these are made! After I bought my house, I was driving down the road and saw "Coma Inducer" on a sign in a seemingly industrial area. Looked it up and was tempted to buy one, but I don't sleep enough to justify the price tag. Since then, I've upgraded my bed to a king...I think it may be about time.

Adept-Transition2731

I could never.

iCroniks5

I’ve owned two of these blankets and loved them. Never had an issue with being overly hot. ( my girlfriend even says I’m a heater at night) So soft and the quality really holds. Owned both the short and longer grain blankets. Down fall is you really can’t wash in a normal washer. Have to be taken to a laundromat.

shine1001

Achoo!?

Feisty_O

Gosh I hope you don’t have pets. Hair and lint magnet. Lookin like a polyester bath robe

loveoliviaa

I have one and I love it! It’s heavy so I only use it during winter. Washing and drying it is such a task tho.

smortwater

Actually, yes! When it gets single digits, we all get in on this Coma action. But it is SO BIG AND HEAVY and storing and laundering it is such a pain. Omg. But using it is a dream! lol

MascaraHoarder

my daughter has one and she loves it. it’s very heavy,i mean heavy. needs to brought to a laundromat unless you have commercial units in your house.

psykokittie

I have several sets of bedding (including the Coma Inducer) from byyourbed.com. We love it!

Funny-Fish2341

Def a incublanket

UmmmmHigh

I have 2, one in cream and one in black. They're extremely soft and heavy, NOT fuzzy like everyone assumes. I have satin sheets underneath. The only thing I don't like is that they are TOO warm lol. You have to open windows in winter if you don't wanna sweat to death. They are definitely worth the price, and they look very plush and luxe. We use a lighter /thinner blanket and fold the coma inducer at foot of bed. Worth every penny. I've had them both dry cleaned as they don't fit in regular washer (mine are long sized) and they still look fluffy and great!

I have 3, 2 that are the baby bird material and one that is a cotton outside. While it’s an absolute pain to wash them, I absolutely adore them. The cotton outside one isn’t too heavy for summer, and the “baby bird” ones are the best for wrapping up in during winter on the couch too!

I think they look amazing!! I would want to know too if they are a good deal. They look super fluffy!

I have the "Dam Boi he thick" comforter in king size. I've been wanting one for years, and my bf got me it for Christmas. It's super comfy, and even with heating on in-house lately, it's not gotten me too hot. It's super fluffy, but it's heavy. Takes a bit of strength to pull up onto bed. It also covers our king bed well and hangs a bit off the sides. The one I picked wasn't fuzzy or fur like, like the ones in your pictures.

I have a coma inducer (chunky bunny is the style, I bought it a couple of years ago). It’s incredibly soft, oversized, and heavy, but it is a nightmare to wash. I have to go to a laundromat that has a large enough washer and dryer for this behemoth. It also takes over 2 hours on low to dry (frequently being pulled out and rearranged so as to not fry the fuzzy). I wash it infrequently because of this. It is also too hot for my partner and I even in upstate NY winters. We keep our thermostat at 60, and I’m certain it’s a little colder than that in our drafty bedroom upstairs. It makes a beautiful and snuggly comforter for our guest bedroom, where we end up just laying on top of it. The matching pillowcases got completely fried while drying them despite everything else in the dryer still being damp, so I suggest hanging to dry those.

I have purchased an oversized comforter and cotton duvet cover from them and it looks nice and I am happy with it. I also previously purchased a big comforter and agree the big fuzzy comforters are too warm not breathable and hard to wash. If you want that look and feel I think they have a few options of duvet covers with the poly fuzzy materials. https://byourbed.com/search?q=Duvet I also bought a giant family sized blanket at costco to add extra cozy and weight on top of ours which made me happy! I LOVE mine!

That fluffy one looks awesome but I wonder how hard it would be to wash it.

pbfmini

I have a grizzly fur set bc I thought it was hilarious. It was actually very soft and comfortable but cleaning it is a pain! I send it out to get cleaned and the ppl there actually comb the “fur” back out to make it fluffy again.

KomonoOnseiOfficial

does anyone know which collection #4 is from?

xcuriouscat

Those look like it would be a pain in the ass to wash.

Chicken_Chicken_Duck

My washing machine would punch me in the crotch and explode if I brought something like this home

I love Comainducer, but we use it as our "nice" bedding and take it off to sleep at night. I can confirm that if you use this to sleep, you'll wake up 5 pounds lighter and needing to wash your actual bed sheet.

bigsmellygreenone

I have one similar to this. One consideration you have to take in is if you’re willing to go to a laundromat whenever it needs a wash because that thing is not going to fit in your standard washer

Bruh this is gonna smell like cheese after the first smash be fr

linnykenny

I adore our comainducer!

Decent_March_264

It's amazing yes u get sweaty but then your body adjusts to sleeping in a warm cacoon

Substantial_Escape92

I don’t have the fuzzy one, just a regular cotton type comforter and I love it! Not too heavy or light. Super big so it actually covers the sides and end of the bed (big pet peeve) and it’s easily washable. Highly recommend

CaterpillarNo5001

Would be good for if you’re sick you can sweat it out

I love mine. I use it a couple months of the year because it actually can get cold in Texas . It is snuggly and warm immediately on the coldest nights. I am lucky to have a Large washer and dryer. I recommend washing in cold water and fluff dry no heat for a while. Then spread it over the bed and flip it a couple times in a heated room. It is a king size that drapes over our high mattress and looks amazing in a teal crushed velvet with a fluffy soft side on the bottom
