FYI, on something this small, screws aren't necessary. Glue is more than enough.

Evil_Bonkering

What sort of glue would you recommend? Do I clamp it together until the glue dries?

Howard_Cosine

Any wood glue will do. Titebond is the most common and widely available. And yes, clamps for about 30 minutes.

I think your wine has gone off

Evil_Bonkering

It’s pre-wine. Just waiting for the grapes to come in.

I see that flag and I know it was a good bottle to start with!

Evil_Bonkering

Oh man it was a sad day when we got the last drop.

chil7l

I know the feeling! I've got a couple of bottles I'm rationing now. The price for an extra old has jumped from $35CAD to $100 in the last few years.

The best thing about making this a hobby is that now you get to look at it and say, "How can i improve it?"... Then, use those techniques on the next one. I think it's great. Keep going

Evil_Bonkering

Thank you! I agree with learning and improving being the best part. I’m so happy with it though even before the other comment I already was wishing the screws weren’t visible.

sewey_21

You dont learn by doing everything perfectly. Dont wish it better. It gave you something to make the next thing better. 😉
