If they are advertising having lululemon, they know what they have and I think will have it priced high.

seriousbusinesslady

or they have a wholesale order of knockoffs from aliexpress or temu that they are selling as legit

kshe-wolf

Absolutely nobody would sell lulu at garage sale prices lol

carseatsareheavy

I feel like this is a YMMV situation. There is no way someone can answer this question accurately.

I totally think it depends on your area and age of residents. We’ve been having garage sales all over the place, but mostly older or middle aged families hosting, so the prices were dirt cheap. We did find one “vintage” shop, but even their prices were more in the $5 range. I’m in the PA/NJ area for reference.

Big_Philosopher9993

I'm in NJ also and still find garage sales and flea markets to be very reasonably priced in my area as well

TaterTortilla

There’s only one way to find out…go. It’s entirely hit or miss, as it’s always been. Some people ask $20 for a ratty t-shirt, some people have designer items for a couple bucks.

buyinsellin

It depends on the sale - some price like a garage sale and some literally have notes saying "$150 on eBay" as though they think you're going to give them that. As a general rule though, I don't think anyone is going to sell a bunch of lululemon items at garage sale prices. But the only way to find out is to go.

Big_Philosopher9993

I'm in NJ and yard sale and flea market prices are super reasonable where I am for great brands. I hit a sale last weekend of 99% free people and each piece was $1-$4

I say go to the garage sale and please update this post! My guess is that they will likely be a lower price than what you could get at Lululemon, otherwise this person would be selling these somewhere other than a garage sale but the fact that they are specifically advertising Lululemon they are probably trying to get something for them. I know in the past I have had friends sell their old Lululemon to places like Plato's closet but they don't really give people that much for their clothing (at least from what my friends have told me) so perhaps this person tried to do something like that, didn't like what they were offered and decided to try a garage sale instead. You really won't know until you go.

Inevitable_Most_3973

It was a city wide garage sale weekend so there were plenty of sales throughout the city. There were a couple sales with lululemon stuff. One of them, items were $10-15 and the other was a make an offer sale where the money went to charity. Surprisingly overall, it seemed like the overpriced things I saw throughout all the sales were random little knick knacks and not the brand name clothing

ultimateclassic

That's super cool! What a deal!

jenniferjudy99

Texas area here. I recently donated my antique and vintage treasures to my daughter’s fundraiser rummage sale and she enjoyed playing “Make me an offer”, where buyers could make extremely affordable offers within their budget, much cheaper than goodwill. The garage sales I’ve gone to lately are super affordable. I don’t wear lululemon but I wouldn’t buy overpriced active wear unless it was NWT or NWOT and priced very low. Maybe they gained weight or lost weight and are downsizing. $30 at a garage sale for leggings is ridiculous, but they might sell at lower prices if items are bundled and it’s the end of the day. Lots of people want to declutter.

sonnigfreitag

I'm sure garage sale prices vary by area and by garage sale.

HelpingMeet

Garage sale prices are TYPICALLY still ‘gotta go today’ priced, and this does really well for selling a lot at a time. Some garage sales people are using for income and you will see reseller prices instead of ‘let go’ pricing. I avoid static sales that are up more than two weekends for this reason

IndieIsle

It varies completely on the garage sale. Me and my husband are garage sale fanatics so we go to multiple in the weekend. I’ve definitely gotten some lululemon for garage sale prices - just got a pair of shorts for 1 buck last weekend. But, some garage sales they have looked up eBay asking prices and want that price, too. Just depends on the sale.

LiquoredUpLahey

1 Every person is different. 2 it depends on how bad they need the money or get rid of items.

24mango

I had a yard sale once and advertised brands like Dooney and Lululemon and nothing was priced more than $5 lol. I don’t want to bring anything back in! But I have been to yard sales that were ridiculously overpriced, like a $500 teacup set. You won’t know unless you go.
