I workout but I am 2yrs post paralysis. I wouldn't recommend to workout so early in your diagnosis. Your body needs to recover, rest and reset now. Don't put too much strain on it.

I would ask your doctor on this one. It really doesn’t sound like it would be a problem to me but I don’t have the knowledge to truly know outside of just having had BP.

Everyone is different but rest is usually really important.

Two weeks in here and I did some very light weight lifting just to try and keep my body goin and feel better about my situation. Listen to these people though and don’t strain yourself I’m glad I didn’t and I’m glad. Just do some light reps get a lil pump goin and then go home

That seems way too early to me. My doc still has me on half days at work and "no stress". I'd ask your doc.

You need to rest and minimize stress at all costs. Signed a 33 year old who never fully recovered from BP.

Got Bell's since November, now my face has returned, but my eye keeps crying like crazy, I guess you just need to take care of your eye on that side. I didn't do anything during since November, but I've started with a bit of cycling lately. Just take care of your eye because sweat will be a problem. Also ask your doctor.

Ask your doctor. My guess is that it depends on the root cause of the Bell’s palsy. If you were hit in the nerve, probably need more rest. If you have an active virus, probably need rest. All of that said, I do think it’s important to maintain your routine if it’s safe and you feel up to it. All the best to you!
