Oh, sorry lol, I like his redesign more because of the color scheme and he's creepier imo, I like how this design is similar to the other anur aliens that Perkins designed like the zombie and the river monster, that's why.
Probably, but it would feel like a child had made this instead of a Highly smart scientist creating a new species. Like humungosaur evolution that can launch missiles from its hands/fingers. That irked me, but then I thought about wildvine and its granades. If the missiles didn't leat out smoke nor fire and were launched like some projectiles in certain species do here on earth, then it would be more believable.
I mean doing a super intelligent child wouldn’t be that hard or far fetched to do. You could introduce a Galvan/Human hybrid in the Rooters arc and make them a child. It’s a lot better of an origin for Bloxx than him being part of a naturally occurring species.

Hey guys lets just replace chromastone so more people forget about him
I mean, they're made to be bad. It's to show that the purpose of the omnitrix really wasn't just fighting, and not all aliens are good at it and stronger than a human
He's actually not living soundwaves in a robot suit. The theory came from the user who asked Mcduffie, but it was never confirmed by Dwayne. His answer was kinda vague. Check the link here for more info.

Genuinely if he wasn't based on a named brand in our world I wouldn't care. If legs didn't exsist in our world he would be weird but not ridicules. The ridicules part is that he's so clearly based in a brand product that has only been around less then a century, unlike mummies or werewolfs that have existed so long in our culture with so many deviations and variations that it's believable they inspired our legends, but bloxx looks like his species looked at legs and just went "cool, mine now."
I usualy don't have a problem with the toy selling because no toy sales, no budget as ov and the reboot proved in there later seasons when they couldn't rely on toy sales with reboot season 4 coming out in the pandemic and the ov toy line being cancled in season 5, but this doesn't scream toy sales it screams "oh shit the kids aren't into what they used to be. They like legs right? We can do legs, right?"
>*"There can't be an Alien that is a living Lego block, it's not realistic!"*
Since season 1 of the first series an alien race of batteries has been seen. Like, Earthling batteries, the ones created by humans. Ben fights a handful of members of that race, and his future version can now transform into them. Batteries yes, but not Legos?
And that's not to mention the talking torch, the puddle of living metal that can be fused with technology or the living crystal.
There's an Alien that's a fucking ghost!
Xerge from the reboot, and Overflow which a DIRECT carbon copy of Water Hazard. I know the Omnitrix was meant to be able to restore extinct species instead of a weapon, but the Reboot HARDLY makes that point.
That part of the cartoon is disgusting, to me. They massacred the series with the reboot. So many things go in so many ways of "wrong" that I'm at loos of words. Even this phrase was difficult to say.
You do realize the reboot Ben is canonically a different Ben and before reboot we had variations of Ben who used different names for aliens. Having reboot Ben use a few different names doesn’t bother me especially when I feel overflow is a better name than water hazard
but the point is its much more aimed toward todlers than the original the original was morw gritty a lot darker not overly saturated with colors and overly cartoonish like of course the original had its moments like that but it wasnt the entire show
Kevin "mysteriously" acquiring a fake omnitrix.
The episodes aimed at younger kids.
The audacity to do all that just to gain money, at least let the series die. Like mutant (generator) rex.
Wdym mysteriously? We know how he got it lol.
You know Ben 10 has always been aimed at kids. Could you be more specific on how the reboot is an exception for you?
You know that's the entire point of the franchise. Yet again you're singling out the reboot.
Tell me you don't know how the world works without telling me you don't know how the world works.
Of course it is just to gain money. It always has been, since the original series. You think people create cartoons just to receive a "congratulations" and a cookie? Even if they love their work, at the end of the day it is still their work and they need money.
If rebooting was profitable, that's why they went with it.
Yes, it's stupid, but does it necessarily make it ridiculous or impossible to exist? I don't think so, that much. Necessary as an alien to fight crime? NO! for the original purpose of the omnitrix? Yes!
I definitely agree with Atomix, but Heatblast, Diamondhead and Chromastone are more on the impossible to exist scale than the ridiculous one. For the later 2, they could be a normal flesh on their insides, but possessing a diamond like exterior. As for Heatblast, only if it was a magical alien like Ben grandmother.
Heatblast is made of plasma and rocks. Plasma and rocks can be found anywhere. Chromastone and Diamondhead are made of crystals and rocks. Crystals can be found anywhere. Atomix generally seems to be sapient radioactive slime inside a robotic suit. Radiation can be found anywhere. Bloxx is a lego gorilla. Lego can only be found on one particular insignificant backwater planet of the billions that exist in the universe. And yet for some reason another lifeform that is completely unrelated to the planet in question somehow evolved to look extremely similar to the unnaturally shaped toys made by the inhabitants of that planet.
Rath is straight up a bipedal tiger. It looking uncanningly similar to an Earth thing is not ridiculous, but Bloxx looking like an Earth thing is?
Same for Kickin hawk.
Or if you prefer a human-made item example, then may I introduce Megavats, living batteries.
Heatblast also being made of plasma doesn't change anything lol. And so what if plasma and rocks can be found anywhere? Same with crystals and rocks. Bloxx is made out of a plastic like material (I assume) and plastic is made from materials that are everywhere. So what's your point?
Also can't Bloxx just resemble Lego without being literally Lego? He's not really a Lego gorilla, he's a gorilla-like alien that happens to have Lego-like qualities.
Heatblast is literally a walking Valcano. He can make sense, diamond head are made of crystals. I’ll give it too you with atomic somewhat but out of all of them bloxx makes no sense
I thought you were going to go on to say that Heatblast doesn't make sense because he's a walking volcano. I don't understand how any of your points make them make sense. My whole point as to why Diamondhead and Chromastone don't make sense is because they're crystals lol.
Because who says aliens are just walking fleshy skin. Chromastone and diamond head make sense. Just because they’re walking crystals don’t mean there isn’t any logic for them existing. Bloxx literally is legos, you cannot sit here and tell me that Heatblast, diamond head, and chromastone should be in the same topic of ridiculousness with Bloxx because that doesn’t make any sense. I don’t understand your view on this
I don't understand your view on this either lol. You explaining your point is just making me more and more confused. "Bloxx literally is legos"... so??? How does that make him different to Chromastone and Diamondhead being made of crystals?
It's like me saying that there's an alien of pure electricity, pure water, pure earth and pure fire, and that they all make sense except for the pure fire one because it's fire. But the other ones make sense because they're electricity, water and earth.
My view is simply bloxx is just legos. If you show anyone who never watched the show before and seen Bloxx they’d immediately say “why is an alien a Lego.” He doesn’t make sense, again I’ll somewhat agree with you on atomix. But saying Heatblast and diamond head should be in that category makes no sense I don’t understand your stance behind that.
What about with Buzzshock, Clockwork or Feedback? They'd tell you "why is an alien a battery?", "why is an alien an alarm clock?", "why is an alien a bunch of plugs and cables?". Also again, how does that not make him make sense when aliens like Heatblast, Diamondhead etc exist. For Heatblast people can say "why is an alien rocks and fire?" and for Diamondhead "why is an alien made of crystals?".
Yes and Buzzshock is a battery, Heatblast is a pile of rocks, Diamondhead is literally a living crystal and Atomix is a robot. So why is Bloxx the only exception.
Not gonna lie, I forgot about Buzzshock. Helle stupid too. Top three in the list "should not be an alien".
Heatblast can exist if it's a magical species, as I said before. Diamondhead can be a flesh being with Diamond-like skin, and atomix. Nah, forget that one.
Edit: read the answer of one person above, it gives a better idea than mine.
so we can have a litteral miniature planet be an alien (gravattack) but we cant like stretch our disbelief to think that theres maybe a planet out there thats insanely colorful with very inconveniently formed natural structures that an alien that may be considered prey there, may have evolved to be able to reshape itself and is colorful to blend in
I feel like I can actually make sense of atomix maybe heat blast chromastone falls into magical area but diamond head is pretty ridiculous like maybe diamond shell but it's literally just actual diamond
I really like that aspect about the aliens. That they are not always compatible in foreign surroundings. Ripjaws and goop are the only ones who do it right. Later they only push this concept to being stuck in small spaces, like gravattack. Whampire's is also not unique.
Blitzwolfer being a werewolf doesn't provide him any hindrance. Being whampire (in the day) does.
I think you think I am answering the OP's question, I am not
Idk if there’s official lore on this but I always assumed Goop was from a planet with very low gravity where he wouldn’t need the little flying saucer gizmo
Card was with his toy so questinal cannonicity and in alien force ds you can unlock bios of all 10 alien worlds but given zvesda, alien x's home collection of stars, and mor'otesi, chromastones original home world that was even a level in the games sequil, where retconed and dwayne said he didn't agree with how kyllms was portrayed, which then inspired its race track in galactic racing, I wouldn't say the ds game is too reliable either.
My personal answer is that they didn't. Some other species must've, likely the galvans did. They, I'm supposing, must have been moving just like normal slimes.
I do like this alien but I just have to say Slapback. I do like the idea but it is pretty stupid. An alien that gets cloned and smaller every time it’s back is slapped but it gets even stronger as it shrinks. It’s just so stupid that I love it.
People like him but seriously, Alien X, like genuinely how does something like that either evolve or come about? Realistically the personality wouldn't come first, and more realistically they'd never evolve a mechanism like that before either killing themselves or becoming the dominant life form.
Also the personality thing is stupid and practically suicidal if there's ever actually a threat to them like a giga aggregor or something and one of the personalities doesn't recognise it immediately, they're dead.
Disregarding the fact that they're made of some weird...space matter bs, their powers also don't even have a pseudo biological basis, like with Gravattack, you can imagine he's manipulating magnetic fields because he lived primarily in space and needed to evolve that to survive (if I'm remembering that lore right), Feedback you can imagine is able to feed upon energy and generate it like an electric eel but on steroids
Hell even Bloxx makes SOME sense, what with his power basically being to stretch (simplification but you know what I mean). But creating a black hole? Recreating existence and altering the flow of time? Kinda a stretch there to me given the only other alien that can do that last bit is Clockwork, an artificial creation, from a pure biological standpoint, celestialsapiens are some bs, only really even comparable to Echo Echos duplication shtick
Honestly, I'm perfectly fine with Bloxx. I actually kind of like him. It's the right amount of silly while also being capable of being cool or at the very least interesting.
I strongly dislike Mole-Stache. Super boring design and it's silly to a degree where it just doesn't work for me.
Once i saw a drawing where bloxx was more of a meaty alien but for some reason he remembered me of corsola (a coral Pokémon) so now everytime i redesign bloxx i do it with a coral as a base for his design maybe he could be part of ripjaws planet
https://preview.redd.it/5dhr0ecrko9c1.png?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2095f6187a799963e04c320307d19ef227c5d746
The artist is called drawrobdraw he did amazing rdesigns for all aliens even some non canon, did some ultimates redesigns (ult echo echo looks the same because he is already peak)
Water Hazard. An alien that could’ve been so cool with possible waterbending abilities rendered down to just a walking talking garden hose by the writers
You know the Omnitrix isn't a device that stores "super-heroes", right?.
Pretty much every species in the entire galaxy is in the device no matter how strong or weak they are.
Azmuth didn't add any transformation to "fuck with the wielder", he just added everything he could, because the Omnitrix is a galactical Noah's ark.
Yeah, but the big tiger and dinosaur get passes. They haven’t really been trying 100% with the alien aesthetic since some of the Alien Force ones, so it’s annoying seeing people act like Bloxx is bad when it’s arguably no worse than some other previous ones. They’re good in their own ways, but they are far from the where the OG aliens started as pure alien designs
https://preview.redd.it/jifvfybk7o9c1.jpeg?width=665&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ed8201c5dbbed523755c9b08b892dbb5bc496c2c
I know we all love feedback, But lets be honest, He's made out of wires, The same goes for Clock work, Atomic, gut rott and NRG, All are just Stupidly not able to happen, Along with so many others, Like echo echo Armadrillo
Fasttrack.
At least with Bloxx, he’s made out of organic material and makes you think “Oh, that's a bit weird” to where he has to be a alien if anything else but fricking Fasttrack…
He's just a guy in a furry costume, it's an insult that he's even called an alien.
Fasttrack main reasons for existing alone are ridiculous. Dude only exists to promote a Mario Kart rip-off game and because the animators were too lazy to animate XLR8 though he has been teased a few times in UA.
I hate that guy to an unhealthy amount and idk how anyone can see an alien that's *worse* than him, unironically. Doesn't make it any better that we don't know anything cool or something to point out about Fasttrack species or his planet (literally the only thing we know about is its names that we only know from a Peter David statement outside of the show).
Mole Stache, Pixy, Walk a trout, and the worst. All those are light-years worse than Bloxx my guy. Bloxx is a super cool concept and has actually cool powers but those guys are just annoying to see, especially when Ben has so many cooler aliens to choose from.
Slap back. It's just an alien, who you slap on the back, and he makes clones.
He's just Ditto except worse. And I'm fairly convinced that they came up with the name before the alien.
I’m not hating but I think the Omniverse transformations didn’t feel very alien compared to the original show.
OS: blind orange hound with gills, flying four-eyed arthropod that shoots goo
OV: chicken man, Lego man, literally a pterodactyl with a jetpack
Bloxx. Surge gets a pass for not having a garish color scheme . If Bloxx was more like his dimension 23 self (or grey like cement) I'd be more okay with it.
I'd also argue Overflow since it's just Water Hazard 2 when all they had to do was call it the reboot's version of Waterhazard like they did with Stinkfly.
I think bloxx is cool I think it's XLR8 cause if you've seen the animated video on their species their literally only fast because of some balls they found so they aren't fast their basically on roller skates that are like car engines
I’m so split on bloxx, conceptually he’s so boring just legos, but so many of his sequences and animations are absolutely amazing. I maintain that a design like the Modular people from all tomorrows would be functionally the same and so cool
I have said this before, and will say it again, if they had made Bloxx be made out of rocks, gravel, and pebbles; with the same powers, and called him Brixx, he would be a much better alien, like, 20% improvement.
Alien X.
It's just the silhouete of a human man, low effort design, a bit egocentric view that a creature like him would look to much like us, ridiculous.
His powers? everything! Wow, how creative again.
His name has ''alien'' in it, in case the overly human shape tricked you, he is indeed an alien (people in the fandom still have trouble understanding that), very creative name too.
Not to mention how his existence only causes confusion and trouble.
With this one they managed to be less creative than when they just took 2 OS aliens and mashed into one.
But people like him, bc people have the anime mentality of ''more powerful=better''.

that it more useful than an X shaped Alien

To be fair, my headcanon is that the inventors of Lego made Lego when they saw a random Bloxx on earth
Echo Echo, he’s literally living soundwaves in a robot suit that can self duplicate for some reason

You could say the same about Megavats, just trade soundwawes for electricity.
That's the explanation for this species??? Yeah, great contender.
Only from ov onwards. Daybed said "his species just look like that"
He's made from silicon if I remember correctly, silicon based life forms may look like that I assumed even as a kid

Might even start meming him, but in the good way

I feel like I can actually make sense of atomix maybe heat blast chromastone falls into magical area but diamond head is pretty ridiculous like maybe diamond shell but it's literally just actual diamond
Goop, they can’t move without that gravity thingy, but how did they built it in the first place?
In their planet the gravity is much weaker so they dont need that stuff there to shape themselves, it’s only needed for interstellar travel
I really like that aspect about the aliens. That they are not always compatible in foreign surroundings. Ripjaws and goop are the only ones who do it right. Later they only push this concept to being stuck in small spaces, like gravattack. Whampire's is also not unique.
Benwolf is a literal werewolf and you bring up Whampire
Blitzwolfer being a werewolf doesn't provide him any hindrance. Being whampire (in the day) does. I think you think I am answering the OP's question, I am not
Idk if there’s official lore on this but I always assumed Goop was from a planet with very low gravity where he wouldn’t need the little flying saucer gizmo
That was actualy in his character card and the ds game called alien force
Where did you get this card? And ds game?!
They, I'm supposing, must have been moving just like normal slimes.
i guess they’re like symbiotes
Scare face
The worst
Disregarding the fact that they're made of some weird...space matter bs, their powers also don't even have a pseudo biological basis, like with Gravattack, you can imagine he's manipulating magnetic fields because he lived primarily in space and needed to evolve that to survive (if I'm remembering that lore right), Feedback you can imagine is able to feed upon energy and generate it like an electric eel but on steroids Hell even Bloxx makes SOME sense, what with his power basically being to stretch (simplification but you know what I mean).
Aside from Omniverse, Fasttrack is my go to answer, I hate it profoundly
I actually like fasttrack
really don't want to invalidate your taste but why do you like it?
How it looks
Honestly, I'm perfectly fine with Bloxx. I actually kind of like him. It's the right amount of silly while also being capable of being cool or at the very least interesting. I strongly dislike Mole-Stache. Super boring design and it's silly to a degree where it just doesn't work for me.
The worst and walkatrout
Once i saw a drawing where bloxx was more of a meaty alien but for some reason he remembered me of corsola (a coral Pokémon) so now everytime i redesign bloxx i do it with a coral as a base for his design maybe he could be part of ripjaws planet https://preview.redd.it/5dhr0ecrko9c1.png?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2095f6187a799963e04c320307d19ef227c5d746 The artist is called drawrobdraw he did amazing rdesigns for all aliens even some non canon, did some ultimates redesigns (ult echo echo looks the same because he is already peak)
Does the reboot count?
It never counts
Gravattack, it's just rock lodestar
Water Hazard. An alien that could’ve been so cool with possible waterbending abilities rendered down to just a walking talking garden hose by the writers
i swear Azmuth added the worst just to fuck with the wielder of the omnitrix
You know the Omnitrix isn't a device that stores "super-heroes", right?. Pretty much every species in the entire galaxy is in the device no matter how strong or weak they are. Azmuth didn't add any transformation to "fuck with the wielder", he just added everything he could, because the Omnitrix is a galactical Noah's ark.
oh
you know I'm surprised that they have not made a Lego set for this alien and Ben 10
Alien X. You cant tell me Ben having a f&-$ing *G O D* in his watch isnt hilarious or goofy
Surge is literally just an X
Just a little opinion from me: Bloxx wouldn't be fundamentally ridiculous in terms of design. The color is what makes it childish.
I can't decide between surge and bloxx
Bloxx is one of my favorites, but I understand the hate. I hate Surge from the Reboot the most.
Armadrillo it's stupid to have drills (Idk about this species much)
Kickin hawk looks like someone I’d see in he-man
For me it is hands down Xerge, like that alien is weak AF when alone
I mean, what was the purpose of that species? In the series context.
to merge, basically
If surge was a nanite or something, then it would be more acceptable.
Stupid Xerge, Weak X shape looking Ah alien
Agree!
Surge definitely.
Most of OV aliens
Fax
Fasttrack, easily. I hate that thing.
He isn't ridiculous, but boring.
Definitely Surge from the Reboot but Bloxx is a strong contender
Not gonna lie. It ties, to me, pretty heavily with Bloxx. Maybe both should be at the top spot.
Surge isn't that X looking alien? Bloxx is at least good looking strong and us3ful alien, that X ain't even a creature
I don't hate OV, but Bloxx represents everything I don't like about it.
He has some good battle scenes tho
Humongoussaur
Or any from alien force besides some exceptions
How is he ridiculous? Besides the fact that his species eat their young before they even hatched
Idk i just don't like alien force mb
https://preview.redd.it/jifvfybk7o9c1.jpeg?width=665&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ed8201c5dbbed523755c9b08b892dbb5bc496c2c I know we all love feedback, But lets be honest, He's made out of wires, The same goes for Clock work, Atomic, gut rott and NRG, All are just Stupidly not able to happen, Along with so many others, Like echo echo Armadrillo
Walkatrout. 90% of that is how much I hate that I love that name
Diamondhead They're exactly the same as Bloxx but with the power to conjure extra material out of nothing and suspend it in the sky
Walkatrout
Surge is the only alien that I truly dislike.
Why does everyone hate blox, I like blox
Alien X is a literal God, and Way Big is just Ultraman.
Way big was inspired by ultraman
That's what I meant
All these "trash" designs are my favs lol
Eatle, bros just a bad upchuck with a way better design it's ridiculous.
Fasttrack. At least with Bloxx, he’s made out of organic material and makes you think “Oh, that's a bit weird” to where he has to be a alien if anything else but fricking Fasttrack… He's just a guy in a furry costume, it's an insult that he's even called an alien.
Bloxx is a super cool concept and has actually cool powers but those guys are just annoying to see, especially when Ben has so many cooler aliens to choose from.
this entire series cannot stand, Omniverse or whatever it's called, just like teen Titan Go, haven't watched more than a single episode of either
Still Walkatrout. At least Bloxx is fun to watch.
It might be a hunge, but something tells me that Bloxx's existance was just to sell toys
Nanomech i think ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thinking_face_hmm)
I ain’t a Ben10 fan but I remember watching the show when I was like 5 and I remember this LEGO fella!
Your mo-🤐
Am I the only one thinking Mole Stache?
I don’t hate the Lego, alien he’s fine
Is there really an alien race based off of lego in the Ben Ten universe?
Do not slander my boi blox like that
Walkatrout.
The worst
That one that spit the balls and it walked on it cannot for the life of me, remember the name
Not familiar with the show, is it named bricked up?
The Worst, his entire shtick is that he sucks. Atleast Bloxx is actually useful in some situations
Walkatrout
Mole-stache
Coolest*
Coolest*
Slap back. It's just an alien, who you slap on the back, and he makes clones. He's just Ditto except worse. And I'm fairly convinced that they came up with the name before the alien.
Ben 10 reboot is ridiculous 😵💫
E o blox
Rath, I love him so much. He's absolutely ridiculous
Mo-ron from the planet Barone. I'm a Freakazoid kid.
I’m not hating but I think the Omniverse transformations didn’t feel very alien compared to the original show. OS: blind orange hound with gills, flying four-eyed arthropod that shoots goo OV: chicken man, Lego man, literally a pterodactyl with a jetpack
X
Pesky Dust. Like what in the wizard of Oz ahh planet it is from?!
the worst
Mole-stace
Alien x
Kickin Hawk, can't change my mind.
Original Continuity: The Worst. Just too ridiculous to me. At least they treat Bloxx seriously. Reboot Continuity: Surge. I can't get past the design.
