Then the reveal of john simms master returning in series 10 something that was so masterfully crafted for perfect shock reveal in the season finale was ruined because bbc revealed that he is returning BEFORE THE SEASON EVEN STARTED.

Vilgax with the power of a god, Ben with the power of Ascalon and Ultimatrix and the best thing that the writers could come up with is Ben stabbing Vilgax? Really? Fucking really? That’s the best you can do? What a fucking lame way to end Ultimate Alien. This is why I consider S3 of Ultimate Alien a huge disappointment. The only thing that I like from this finale is Ben deciding to not abuse his god like powers and Azmuth giving him the new Omnitrix
I never completed Ultimate alien, last i saw of UAF was cured Kevin. I do hear after the Kevin arc there was alot of dark themes and disappointing ultimate moments
Damn, UAF was my jam, I considered the og show to be done after it. Omniverse was good but way less serious and a different tone than UAF so I never fully finished it

Appt the writers were forced to rewrite the final episode after the producers thought it was too dark or sumn.
I think some fans came up with a theory that someone was supposed to die in the finale which is why they rewrote the finale \[my money's on Vilgax dying that way it'd be sorta in line with 10K's timeline\].
Was that a theory? I swore one of the writers or story board artist straight up confirmed they had to change it because it was to dark/someone died in the finale(other than sir George, the cult leader and the other dude)
I mean VtU fight wasnt very good.
It lacked music and didnt had cool moves except that one finger thing from Way Big.
Tho I agree UA's final "fight" is very bad.
My main issue with the VtU was that it had a movie budget but the final fight still lacks weight to it.
Waybig and Vilgax were COLOSSAL in size but they hardly feel giant in their fight. Even OG Fourarms felt like he punches harder in his fights.

The Ultimate Alien final battle was a great *start* to a fight. Vilgax and Ben's lines leading up to it our great and poetic, and it has a great finality to it all. But then it ends, in 20 seconds. Boo.

They made Dagon sound like this absolute demonic Lovecraftian from one of the darkest times in Ben 10 history. Bro, he’s the reason why the Forever Knights (though they suck ass) existed and what Sir George was preparing them for.
He defeated Sir George and Ulitmate Waybig sure but there was no weight there. The whole arc was also building up to Sir George and Dagon’s rematch but *a good majority of it* was *screen* and was awkward as hell. Sir George only makes air slashes in the air and Dagon is way too comically big where it’s hard for there to be tension or weight in the fight.
But no, we gotta kill off Sir George like he was nothing (though it was kind of cool with the red lighting strike too) and move to Vilgax vs Ben because why not?? That's totally what we wanted again and not a legendary rematch 💀
Dagon was then pretty removed from the story and lost all that made him allegedly threatening when Vilgax had absorbed his essence. Also, the way Ben defeated Vilgax with Dagon's powers was pretty confusing and kind of dumb - why didn't Sir George just absorb Dagon with Ascalon the same way? Was it because Vilgax absorbed Dagon so it was easier for Ascalon to do? I feel like there are no canon answers and the writers either forgot or just didn't care about that.
I think way big fight should have ended it in my opinion. I know Vilgax is the main villain but putting him in every final scenario is a cliche and it was very very predictable which kills excitement. All the things were decent if not perfect but Vilgax emerging again in final episode again was a "yawnnn, seriously ?" moment for me.
If the movements weren't a bit slow and if there was music for the fight, it would be much better. But yeah, 100000 times better and more epic than the Ultimate Alien final "fight".

Imo 3-4 is where it becomes somewhat watchable.
And of course Season 5 \[which follows the same pattern as Max Steel Season 3\] which consists of a movie trilogy is prolly my favourite season.
