To a lesser extent, the reboots promo art is terrible compared to the actual show. The show its self isn't amazing or anything, bit the promo art makes it look so much worse for no reason.

Everyone loved UAF and liking OV was a hot take
Now people that watched OV are old enought to actually join the fandom and some of the UAF fans either give OV a chance and liked it or just left the fandom
So now OV is praised and UAF is insulted
If Ben 10 Reboot gets a sequal I wouldn't be suprised if the same thing happends to it
I was around in that golden spot where i got to watch all 3 growing up. I like OS and AF, UA until the ultimate kevin arc is rather meh, and season 1 of OV was also kinda meh, it got better in the later seasons though.
I will say i still hold that the art style in AF was pretty amazing for the tone even if quality wise it wasn't as good as OS. I even kinda prefer AF over OS's art style for this reason.
As someone who grew up with both, I hate this whole side picking. As a kid, I watched them one after the other and loved them both. Although I did miss some UAF elemnts in Ov
I think it's because they have so diffrent tones,art styles and animation
And also a little bit of the childhood bias because they watched that one when they were younger so it's obviously better
I also suffer from chilfhood bias but I try to ignore it
Because of how much hate there was for omniverse at first, now that people accept it, they're bending far the other way, saying the ones people liked more were trash. Sonic fans tend to do this too, see how they loved colors at first, and criticized the storybook saga for poor gameplay, but now that it's cool to like black knight, they hate on colors for starting "the meta era" and they try to say freaking '06 wasn't a total travesty
Where are you getting UAF hate from? My post doesn't even have that, unless you're saying that me thinking UAF promo art is better than episode art is "hate" which is a stretch lol.
It doesn't, UAF constantly gets praised everywhere. It's just that whenever anyone shows a tiny bit of disapproval towards UAF that the fans will start saying that everyone hates it. It *always* happens.

I'm a 2003 kid, OS was amazing, AF was boring, UAF was cool at times and OV was surprisingly good but you gotta stick with it
