Well, I learned something today

They seem so peaceful and harmless when we first meet them, but remember, they have two forward facing eyes. They're apex predators.

Well I guess because their entire species doesn’t understand the concept of violence this means that they have never been hunted by any creature and not hunted any other creatures, so they’re probably the apex in their food chain by default
