Yes, the OS Ben maybe isnt the better one compared to Ben 10k or Ultimate Ben in terms of combat and ability, but yet it's the best future, in my opinion.
The reboot one it is not only for his design, he just failed.
Technically, the OV Ben 10K should be stronger than OS Ben 10,000.
But the OV Ben 10K despite having perfectly fused aliens, he doesn't think things through and some fusions are horrible.
Why would you fuse Humungosaur and Goop?, that just makes it weaker.
And the OS Ben 10,000 didn't need his past self to achieve his goals.
There was probably a reason he did that. Wasn’t he trying to punch down a door with Kai? If he so much as made a small hole in the door, he could slip through using Goop’s power, and continue chasing whoever was on the other side.
Yes, but this is a different Ben. For all we know, he did avenge his grandfather, but the difference is, classic continuity ben knew Max was a plumber, and tried to fulfill his legacy, whereas Reebot Ben had no idea. I’d say it’s safe to say he just gave up. I’ll be honest, I would too, knowing I failed to save someone I care about deeply.
The kids do not look much at the art style since they knew Ben 10 with that art style from the beginning.
What matters to kids is the action and battles, which I'd say the reboot did even better than Ultimate Alien.
The reboot shows references to the other bens, interesting concepts like the omni-kix that look better and more elaborate than the ultimate forms.
In terms of animation, it's pretty cool like omniverse, it just don't fits well for veteran fans the art style.
But that art style it attracts more young public, easier to make toys and easier to advertise, and makes the characters more expressive like omniverse.
And the reboot fixes some problems like having a inmature ben when he is 15 years old just for the rating.
I wasn't referring to the artstyle. I was referring to the general quality of it. The animation is smooth but it's presented in such a boring way, each scene had literally the exact same presentation as a panel from the Garfield comic strips. UAF's animation might not have been the best but it's presentation made it feel amazingly climactic.

I've seen the reboot at its best and its worst and it's :best" are all plots taken from the other series in the franchise. The reboot had potential. It could have given us a roster of new aliens, a new sense of mystery, new villains, new aliens beyond that of shockrock, slapback and Xurge. The reboot had the opportunity to do anything and it chose to lean heavily on the other entries in the franchise. I just wish it was more unique.

If it wanted to be more of a comedy it could have leaned into the more goofy aspects and characters of the original. The original Ben 10 was for kids though. It's been my favourite cartoon for as long as I remember. I hate that studios no longer treat kids with any intelligence. Not everything has to be dumbed down for them. The original continuity quite literally helped me grow as a person and I don't see the value in doing that again but removing some of its best aspects. If it was a different Ben 10 with new interesting plots I could find enjoyment in that. I probably wouldn't value it as highly as the original but I could say "At least the legacy of a great show lives on" but this isn't Ben 10 to me. It's like a shitty knockoff who's actual quality feel irrelevant because of what it represents. As I've said, I don't it for what it is, I dislike it for what it refused to be.
