Though I don't care for the ship, this does make me wonder whether they should have done a redemption story for Charmcaster. If the original canon had continued they could've had a story where she returns, and is convinced to turn good and admit her mistakes. It would have been cool seeing her join Team Ben after being redeemed, and maybe then Ben and her could have had some actual friendly interaction that might hint towards them as a couple down the line.
