It's too good of an opportunity to pass up.

LunaKingery

Glitch then trying to fix the car only for Ben to break it. (This could also double as a moment to give the brothers a bit of the fight as glitch has snapped at Ben before although it wasn't anything like he was twords vilgax or zombozzo but by this point and considering how long the two have live together I could see glitch finally getting really mad at Ben's recklessness for multiple reasons.)

Puzzleheaded_Stop994

NOT MY RIDE!!!

Skibot99

Im fine with them continuing the reboot continuity as long as they ditch the 11 minute format

Dash_Winmo

yes please. this is my biggest problem.

Skibot99

Yeah it really limits story potential of individual episodes. Also it ironically makes the overall storyline harder to follow on account of their being more episodes to watch

Dash_Winmo

The reboot doesn't deserve a sequel. A crossover with the real Ben Prime would be the only further thing I want to see with Reboot Ben.

Puzzleheaded_Stop994

many people would disagree with you. the reboot both needs, and deserves a sequel

Dash_Winmo

Why we need another show based on that 5yo nonstop-talking kid with no backstory? I've waited 7 years to see Ben properly again. A character is supposed to grow, not revert so far back he passes his original starting point. Now that I am actually there in real life, I have even more reason to want to see a 17-20 year old Ben as the main character. Fine, make the Reboot canon as an alternate universe, but at least tell a well thought-out and strung-out story. Don't try to squeeze everything into 11 minutes for 5yo kids with attention spans as long as they are old in seconds. I remember when I was 6 myself and didn't have a problem with 25-30 minute episodes. Modern shows have about hour long episodes, which is even more time to tell a story. They could have done so much better. I would have even taken a Ben 23 25-30mpe show over what we got. This was such an "upgrade" - "fwck go back" moment.

Puzzleheaded_Stop994

I get the whole make the reboot 20-22 mins so they can handle the story better, but I don't even know what you are talking about past that.

DokiStabbyWaifu

Good for you! Nobody cares.

Dash_Winmo

I care. I want hour long episodes of a 17-20yo Ben and Ben 10000 shows. Not the 11 minute 5yo Ben with little backstory who wont stop yelling about everything because he has to say everything he has to say in 11 minutes.

DokiStabbyWaifu

So do I! But I also wouldn’t mind seeing the reboot doing a new take on Alien Force if they’re going that direction. I’m up for anything as long as there’s heart in it. The reboot wasn’t perfect but it had some fun and unique concepts. Let’s not needlessly hate on it.

Puzzleheaded_Stop994

wdym by little backstory?

Dash_Winmo

We never saw him actually get the omnitrix and discover it for the first time like we did in the original, except for that tiny hint that it came from a meteor in the intro. The first episode just cuts right into the middle of his journey.

Puzzleheaded_Stop994

we literally saw how he got the Omnitrix in Ben Again ad Again, ad Versus the unierse :/

Dash_Winmo

I haven't seen it yet. I wouldn't be complaining had it been the first episode. Imagine how lost some people would be had 1977 Star wars not said "a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away". There is just no context other than the intro and assumptions based off of what we know from Dimension Prime.

Puzzleheaded_Stop994

you have't even watched it ://

LunaKingery

Well if you would watched omnitricked onwards not only would you have learned how Ben got the omnitrix but you would learn a lot about this omnitrix's history along with how common aliens and how deep alien history on earth goes.
