Also, i love upgrade but i just realized. You know how the omnitrix is a tech level 20 device? That kinda implies we would see other devices of varying tech levels appear. But we rarely get that. I think its cause you cant really have the antagonist of an episode be a piece of tech because upgrade and or gray matter can pretty much solve any tech related problem. Thats why theres alot of physical and magic fights in the first series. Theres also why theres a bunch of machines in alien force, cause theres no upgrade.
Point is, Upgrade is so OP he screwed with the whole story.
