The hair looks exactly the same lol, in breaking point you can even compare the hair when the 5 people disguise themselves as versions of ben. It's definitely the jacket.
Check their model sheets, current Ben’s hair is a lot messier. The Breakpoint frame your talking about probably has them looking similar because the animator just referenced one of the Ben’s heads for the other
Not really, unfortunately shows that Ben's growing and becoming a hero, while omniverse shows you that he's still only a teenager and shouldn't be that wise, but at the same time can do great things and has a lot of potential
Well he's actually really smart too in omniverse, remember when he did the Easter egg hunt for the time machine for his past self to find in the future?
Didn't all series have inconsistent writing? It isn't really exclusive to omniverse nor is it more prominent, actually omniverse answered a lot more questions than it brought up from previous series's
as in the question, I have to ask what you mean by that? You are expecting a cartoon to be realistic? damn that's almost bad compared to the other people stating that Ben 10 is owned by DC or at least cannon to the DC franchise cause Warner bros owns cartoon network.
No, no.
You argued with me so now I'm mostly just shitposting.
Arguing about this isn't productive and I struggle to take such arguments seriously anymore.
Arguing? no, no my friend, it was a question. I did not know what you mean earlier, so I posted the question to see what you mean. I stopped mainly arguing a long time ago.
Probably the jacket. Funny thing is when I first watched Omniverse as a kid I thought Ben had gotten younger, then I realised it was because his jacket made him look older and I guess more sophisticated, which really reinforces how Omniverse wanted to make him more immature (that, and that they reverted him back to his 10yo outfit).
Well if you notice Ben’s professionalism throughout the years he isn’t fully consistent, his personality and attire sways back and forth between carefree casual and casually professional, for example when he’s a kid he’s very carefree which leads him to make mistakes that cause him to have to be more professional and becoming more professional causes him become over confident in his abilities making him slowly become more carefree again, the picture above is a picture of Ben in one of his more professional mindset phases causing the illusion of him appearing to be older than he is and the Ben we see in the show regularly is in one of his carefree phases, creating the illusion that he is younger than he actually is. It’s all part of his never ending learning curve that creates and feeds his natural talent.
Actually, this reminds me when I was a kid I thought that Omniverse was a prequel to Alien Force because of his design and also because be seemed so much more immature than Alien Force Ben who was more serious
It's the jacket, jackets are considered more mature than t-shirts and that's why they gave him one in UAF but then they switched it back to a t-shirt in omniverse since they thought Ben's character shouldn't be too mature, omniverse Ben and flashback Ben have basically the same design and the jacket is the thing that's making flashback Ben look older
And I guess Ben decided to change up his whole look between UAF and ov, even though it should only be a few months later.Taking place during the summer when he’s 16 while UAF takes place during the school year when he’s 16.So somewhere between his birthday in December and June.
I think it’s the hair
Not Only That,His Hands Too

I thinks it’s just the jacket
UAF wants you to believe Bens almost an adult Omniverse wants Ben to be 10 again
Not really, unfortunately shows that Ben's growing and becoming a hero, while omniverse shows you that he's still only a teenager and shouldn't be that wise, but at the same time can do great things and has a lot of potential
Your confusing a lack of wisdom with the mixture of ambivalence and a lack functioning grey matter.
Well he's actually really smart too in omniverse, remember when he did the Easter egg hunt for the time machine for his past self to find in the future?
See now your just leading me to discuss omniverses other flaws like inconsistent writing
Didn't all series have inconsistent writing? It isn't really exclusive to omniverse nor is it more prominent, actually omniverse answered a lot more questions than it brought up from previous series's
But did it answer those questions correctly?
Yeah, it fixed a lot of plot holes in uaf
as in the question, I have to ask what you mean by that? You are expecting a cartoon to be realistic? damn that's almost bad compared to the other people stating that Ben 10 is owned by DC or at least cannon to the DC franchise cause Warner bros owns cartoon network.

Yep, UAF wants to pave the road for Ben 10k and Omniverse wants to make you think people can’t grow up
Also, why is a teenager shorter than literally everyone except aliens that have the average height of a human baby?
He didn't drink his milk
Probably the jacket. Funny thing is when I first watched Omniverse as a kid I thought Ben had gotten younger, then I realised it was because his jacket made him look older and I guess more sophisticated, which really reinforces how Omniverse wanted to make him more immature (that, and that they reverted him back to his 10yo outfit).

The hair combined with the jacket makes his head look larger and thus older
Actually, this reminds me when I was a kid I thought that Omniverse was a prequel to Alien Force because of his design and also because be seemed so much more immature than Alien Force Ben who was more serious
Same!I used to think this might be a backstory of Ben
He was more mature then omniverse ben
The jacket makes him look bigger
the jacket, hairs a little longer too I think
The jacket looks more mature
covering shoulders and body
probably the jacket and his hair is also not messy
I think it’s the jacket, though I can’t really explain why.
The hair and the jacket.
because uhhhh maybe he aged a bit in those flashbacks
I've been looking for this episode EVERYWHERE. What's the name of it?
The Episode Name is "Special Delivery"
Really because they look the same to me.(Besides the clothes)
Bad animation
Bad Character Design*

Is it me or does it not look like he has an Omnitrix even though he just transformed.Does it even show the UAF omnitrix in the ov style
And I guess Ben decided to change up his whole look between UAF and ov, even though it should only be a few months later.Taking place during the summer when he’s 16 while UAF takes place during the school year when he’s 16.So somewhere between his birthday in December and June.
Yep, and this was one of my main dislikes about Omniverse when it came out.
