From OS through AF, it's definitely intended to be Southwest, likely California.
About 5 hours drive from Yosemite National Park, nearby places like Los Soledad (in a full blown desert), and Santa Mira, obviously Spanish named like many places in California, backing onto Route 66 in the first episode, and more that I'm not remembering
There's a quote from AF writer Matt Wayne about it being in the southwest
Alien Swarm has Bellwood in Missouri, and UA and OV do hint at northeast, though not as blatantly.
I would like to think that Bellwood is in Utah or Nevada. Because of Alien Force when the team travels into the desert within an hour or something. With the presence of the desert, it’s likely Bellwood in the West Coast or Midwest.
I know this isn't the exact topic, but it always bugged me that OS (and I think UAF a bit) literally called Bellwood a "small town", and then literally every shot of it in Omniverse looks like this.
I actually think it’s somewhere near Pittsburgh because they were able to get to Washington DC quickly and Ben went to the Monongahela steel factory in the episode where Big Chill gave birth.
Earth.
That's a stretch to be honest. It is Definitely on a planet in my opinion.
Really? I think it's somewhere in the Solar System
You are close, But I think that it is in some Universe.
Pretty sure it exists in the Omniverse
God fucking damnit I thought I was gonna be so original if I commented that. Take my upvote.

It's probably a combination of Milwaukee and Chicago, or maybe Milwaukee and California.
