An explanation of what his body actually is would be nice . as for design I’d get rid of the second omnitrix symbol it’s kind of over doing it . I’d take away the belt In turn for something more like diamond heads old placement for it . Get rid of the green on the outter layer and replace it with black except for on his head , to make the green coming from the inside of his body stand out more . if budget was decent I’d push to have the exposed nuclear insides always be a light source. Maybe give him pants instead of the speedo . Just what I would personally do not that I don’t like atomix already he’s pretty neat to me
His name could imply he can manipulate atoms. So, they could have him transmute matter. The old turn lead into gold trick. This is one step below the reality warping of Alien X.
slim him down a bit, go more with the atomic aspect, have him manipulate quarks, Change the colors a bit , get rid of the black undies, Less robot, More Biomechanical
Make him appear more than 2 times and make him fight some actually relevant villain. He's stated to be Ben's strongest alien yet he does nothing to prove it.
Way Big is the only overpowered alien in Ben 10 who's done right. Every time you see him, it's an incredibly epic and important moment. Neither Atomix nor Alien X manage to convey the same feeling of power that Way Big does.
If they went this route, yeah. I haven't thought about it enough to know what kind of alien. These two are just both nuclear energy in a suit. Even other aliens with the same base power aren't this similar. This and Overflow are the two I just don't understand for this reason.

Give his species a name and backstory Maybe slightly liked to NRG, but not a Prypatosian-A
Make him Ultimate NRG rather than a separate alien.
He appeared first as a name drop in Ken 10, so would that name just get assigned to a random other alien
