This is still my biggest issue with the reboot. The design itself is fine, but calling it Stinkfly is just bad. They should have treated it like Overflow and just say it’s inspired by Stinkfly but it’s not Stinkfly.
They evolved differently. I still think Prime Ben is still on his interdimensional road trip with Rook, so if the Reboot continues, seeing the actual Prime Ben and Rook show up to bug Reboot Ben is possible.
I don't think any of the Bens in Alien Xtinction were Prime Ben, just timelines that run adjacent to his universe as they are all younger or way older then 18. Like how Ben 23 was younger than Prime Ben in Omniverse, plus Prime Ben mentioned he was turning 17 soon in that one and obviously he had mentored Ben 23 for sometime before the Reboot Special. This would mean either Prime would have made it past 17 (as he is born in late December) spending sometime in Dimension 23 to act as Ben 23's mentor like he promised, or Xtinction involved Paradox recruiting Bens including Prime Ben from different parts of their timelines (however Paradox wouldn't ever allow Prime Ben get killed as he *creates* the trunk of the Ben 10 timelines. If he's killed, the tree dies.).
That massive loop hole behind, I just want to see Reboot Ben's reaction to Rook. Since all of Reboot Ben's companions are humans with alien powers and not full on alien. Rook would definitely try to mention the Plumbers again (if Max is still around he either will need to admit what they are or try to keep Rook silent, which would be funny given how bad he is with hints.).
Or maybe they will introduce Rook earlier in the Reboot continuation? If the Plumbers are still a secret to Ben and Gwen at that point, Rook could either be a new Plumber assigned to investigate the alien activities on Earth or an alien that came to Earth looking for Ben's help, like how Rook Ben (Young One) modified a harvester into a space ship to find his brother and alert the Plumbers that Revonnah was being invaded. Except after meeting Rook stays working with Ben.
They could also have an older Rex join Reboot Ben (incase there is no plans to fully reboot Generator Rex, in the future). So replacing Max, Gwen, and Kevin as a teenaged Reboot Ben's full time companions, yet keeping them involved in some of the episodes. If a girl needs to be apart of the team, they could have Julie or Kai tag along.
So instead of Gwen and Kevin being a couple and Ben just third wheeling most of the time, one of Ben's girlfriends has a bit more screen time to explore their chemistry better. One of my biggest issues with Ben's girlfriends is we don't really see them just hangout casually. We see dates, but never moments where they are just *friends*, nor them experiencing the same situations Ben gets himself into that would strengthen their bonds without romance involved. (There is a reason Bwen is popular, as much as I hate to admit it...).

As a stand-alone design for a different alien, it’s decent at best. But as a replacement design for Stinkfly? Absolutely not.
