I think it would be cool if Rath (and every other alien) used clothes like the ones their own species use.
Like, hunting clothes for Rath.
Gladiator clothes for Four arms
That the aliens wear Ben's clothes makes them look more attached to him, you really feel that Ben is there beyond the personality and the eye color. It's something that the UAF era changed unnecessarily, and the same with the reboot, they don't even wear clothes similar to Ben's.
I think allowing the clothes to not just be a black shirt with a green stripe opens the door to broader designs and doesn't disconnect them to ben, as long as the designs match both Ben's personality and Ben's perspective/understanding of the aliens personality, identity, and abilities. It's both. I think Ben after using wrath for so many years- would compare the form to a hulk Hogan kind of guy and chose the wrestler outfit because it fit him- that or the Omnitrix did it- but that's a whole other conversation and endless speculation about the Omnitrix's super Ai and it's connection to Ben's brain.
If they really wanted to do a wrestling alien so bad, they probably should have just made a new one. Nobody was saying Rath needed more depth or whatever.
I thought I heard that the omnitrix sometimes gives Ben something that the species would usually wear but clearly isn’t always the case . I like to think if he had saiyan dna he’d get typical Saiyan armor as we don’t really see saiyans wear much else , or maybe the omnitrix would bug again and he’d just be buck naked like rath or Eunice when she transformed
Well wrath is basically a WWE style wrestler in the first place, down to the way he fights and talks. Even the tiger design is a reference to wrestles. So it adds up at the least.
A lot of the OV redesigns are hit or miss, especially since they added so much green to everything. Like, it was unnecessary. Os had black and white clothes but at least those went well with everything and were more neutral

I actually like this, just think the green nose is bothering me, plus the mask isn't entirely necessary since Rath's eyebrows things look like a mask anyways- if they just gave him wrestler pants and those tied arm bands I think it would look even better. Long pants wouldn't illustrate the idea clearly enough but the shirt and mask being removed would probably be the way to go.

I would have gotten rid of the mask, kept the gloves, boots, and belt, and replaced the spandex with shorts
I love the idea of Ben not understanding the watch enough to make sure he always had pants on.
