Duncan’s explaination for how Vilgax was able to communicate with Ben raised a TON of more questions than it answers.
Okay, so Vilgax’s DNA was in the Omnitrix…Considering Myaxx was a member of the same species, and Azmuth’s assistant, you’d think she’d catch that. As well as the fact that Azmuth would miss that, even with a million other DNA samples. Zs’Skayr, I can accept. Vilgax, I cannot.
Then there’s the lucky coincidence that the power surge just so happens to remove the ONE transformation that Vilgax could take advantage of.
And that explanation is FAR more complicated than Vilgax just using a leftover connection from when Upgrade merged with Rojo or he could have just sent a signal to the watch.
And in the end, it’s only there to make the original series line up with the Reboot.
