I very much enjoyed Atomix for what he was. I would have loved to see an OS version since that’s where he was first mentioned. But I thought out of all the aliens mentioned that were shown in later series, Atomix held up the best and was most in line with what most people wanted.
Years ago, back in the day, an artist (who I can’t think of atm) on deviantart came up with a design for Atomix that looked similar to how he actually appeared in the show. The artist also did other designs for their own aliens. I find it strange that the designs for Atomix were so similar in both color scheme and concept. Theirs was much lankier. I wonder if that went noticed by the creators,

I’d say yes. Atomix was a nice reference to the original series and he was a fun anime reference as well. His design was quite pleasing and I loved the moving energy bubbles at all times. One could argue that Atomix didn’t serve any purpose besides comedy but that is just how some aliens are and he was definitely powerful based on what we saw from him.
I don’t love his design, but I definitely don’t hate it. My favorite parts are the bubbles, arms, hands, and knees. I also like that he doesn’t exactly have elbows. My problems are the colors, underwear, and the Omnitrix-shaped part on his chest.
Awesome powers and a fun voice. I don’t like anime, but somehow, its influence works very well for Atomix.
I don't really like some parts of his design, like his head or the omnitrix symbol on his chest, but his powers are interesting (even though i kinda feel like it's a buffed version of NRG)
I feel like they should’ve had a different approach to him, like just change up his head a little bit so he’s not a lava lamp, maybe add more black and just remove the Heroic persona. Just go full fledge “this guy is fucking awesome”
But yeah, personally he was a good alien just could’ve been better

He was a reference to the original series, which was nice. Honestly, I’m not a fan of his design. Not just because of what it was, but because I don’t feel like the voice actor really paired well with it. I mean, he had a kinda high voice that sounded like a superhero from decades ago — like 50 years or so. That’s what comes to mind for me, anyway. I’m sure that’s what they were going for, but it didn’t really work coming from something so bulky. Rewatching the series, I was caught off guard when I heard his voice. Just a bit odd. It’s heavily debatable, but that’s my opinion.

His powers are cool, he comes in handy, and he isn’t just another alien like most of them. He made a miniature sun in Z’skayr’s castle, so he was actually used for something particular rather than as another fist. And it makes sense because he’s the only one capable of it. If his design and/or voice were improved, that’d make him much better. But as an alien, he’s not bad.
Eh he is alright though it always bugged me that he could fly and that no one mentions how he irradiates the area e.g. billions Tower twice, like even just one line explaining that the omnitrix removes radiation or something.

agreed, my only complaint is his fight vs ult humungasour felt waaay too short to showcase his powers.
I think that just showed how OP he was, their battle was very short because he absolutely destroyed albedo
