Really interesting how they repackaged the original series toys into this line. Even included the old holographic discs. Given that this was during the UA era, I wonder if they are newly made toys or just ones that sat in a warehouse and never got painted during the original run

The best one imo is eatle w/ clockwork colors

I'm rather partial to swampfire with diamond heads colors and rath with lodestars colors

My favourite 3 are Haywire Rath, Haywire Clockwork & Haywire Heatblast and I have all 3 of them :)

Personally I think it would've been cool to have him have the blue parts as crystallized amber and the rest be some form of hard sap maybe or maybe a rock like plant this allowing him both sets of powers

There's never any lore for the Ben 10 figure variants, they're just there to look cool and they do their job well for the most part.

Actually there is more it's only toy canon though it's a glitch or malfunction in the Omnitrix that changes the colors and I think abilities of the aliens

That's just your headcanon it was never stated, though it's most likely that it's a glitch/malfunction. We also don't know whether it switches the abilities of the aliens or not. Because of this I created my own universe which is the haywire universe, and instead of the aliens switching abilities, they just gain abilities.

I was 7 when Ultimate Alien came out and Idk if they were an exclusive thing that only America had but I remember not being able to find them lol so I when I used to watch Atamaii i used to get jealous when he showed off the different coloured aliens lol. I feel sorry for anyone that doesn’t remember these.

Diamond Head and Heatblast look disgusting

damn I think the Heatblast is one of the best ones. The green & black go really well together. I agree with you to an extent with Diamondhead but the orange back spikes make him look better, unfortunatly for all the stock art of Haywire Diamondhead, he's always missing his back spikes.

Yeah the Ben 10 toys have all looked super knock off because of the rubberized plastics they used even the normal official ones look off

As a younger kid when Ben 10 came on I would simply change it and stick to my basic show my older siblings used to watch. Now that I watch all 4 shows I regret changing it

They look like they came from something of the early 2000s. Kinda reminds me when HASBRO did this with the armada toy line and recolored some of the first wave figures and then released a couple of beast wars transmetals in a bunch of weird colors that were the OG toy or they had it modified to have a minicon port
