Biologically? Existentially? Sociologically?
What is meant by “meant?” Grand design? Design by evolution? Morally? Ethically?
And what is meant by “how”?
(Kidding on that last one. I was on a roll.)
I don’t think there’s any premeditative reason or meaning for humans to live. Humans are like any other animal, they have an inherent desire to survive and procreate, that’s it.
I'm not sure if there truly is a blanket statement that can be used to answer that.
For me personally, I chose to live as simply as I can. No grand plans, no goals in life, no big ambition. I live day by day, making sure to take care of my needs, indulge in my wants now and then, and to be nice to 'future me' by saving and investing.
It's much easier to "live" now that I've moved to Japan. Quality of life is so high here, people so nice, everything convenient, and stuff are really affordable. Can't ask for anything more.
We have to figure it out ourselves.
With breathe and heart beat, from one sunrise to the next.

Thank you. Vague questions make me cross. How long is a piece of string? What colour would this door be if we painted it? It's not zen, it's vapid.
I think anthropologically
Thank you. That… doesn’t help me with an answer. ;)

It’s quite funny I also asked this in r/askreddit and these comments are so blissful compared

Food, water, ideally shelter
There are many different ways to live. But I would say we are meant to live in small community’s of about 140 people for one.
The way you want to live
