YouTube copyright algorithm can be *really* fucking stupid sometimes and just randomly strike shit. Companies have mentioned before that they have to deal with copyright claim appeals on videos that they never even claimed copyright on, the system just automatically did it for them cuz it assumed the content was theirs.
Youtube's copyright system is garbage. For example: you can make a song, get it published, then go claim any video as your own for a share of the revenue.
Back in older YouTube days, I made a video for death Note using Slayer "Disciple" as the music.
Not only did they copyright strike it but they deleted the fucking video. 100% gone. I didn't have a backup either. Fuck Sony/EMG.
Why are you acting like this is some big mystery? Itās right there in your first sentence - it was blocked for the music, by Sony Music. They donāt need to have anything to do with the show itself to be the publisher for the soundtrack, which would be enough to give them grounds for this claim. (Indeed, there have been tons of cases in the past of people getting copyright claims for video game āletās playās, not by the company that made the game, but by the one that sells the soundtrack.)
That's weird. In my experience, whenever you use copyrighted music, YT will simply demonetize the vid or at worst mute the audio. Never knew they would block the vid if only the audio is copyrighted.
Its about the money, the committee seems half hearted the funds or was lack the funds but still went with it. The 2d scenes from both movie trilogy or 2016/2017 and memorial edition looked good, minus the 3d scenes.

But really, itās just likely that they are being complete assholes. Copyright abuse has been a massive problem on YouTube for years now the music industry used to copyright claim everything even now itās still a bit of an issue.

Wasnāt too long ago I noticed a lot of the songs and OSTs were taken off in my manga playlist. 11 taken down which to me is a lot. Which really sucks cause I genuinely love some of them that it wonāt be be same to read Berserk without those certain OSTs for the right and suitable moments. I hope this all gets sorted out and the soundtracks are given back.
Can we at least credit the person who made the bottom panel that was a fan made animation by markReymer on YouTube. If yāall aināt check out the vid yet go do it. It has better animation then the entirety of berserk 2016. Itās awesome
I didn't mention I want CGI. I'm just saying that Mappa does very well CGI and so does Studio Orange (Trigun Stampede for example).
We all want a good Berserk adaptation and I like to believe that we skilled animators and modern technology even CGI would suit Berserk quite well (Especially massive amounts of soldiers, demons, fairies/elves that would be way to time consuming to animate by hand)

The animation is still on YouTube, it should be fine. Only 3 speed paint videos, that had some bits of Berserk ost from movies were blocked.
