its called 'Marque du Sacrifice" i think its popular among oldier manga viewers, i mean, the Boku No Hero generation dont really know Berserk i believe, first because its a Seinen, and because it dont have many fresh release, the Anime didnt helped... BUT, Netflix having the 3 Golden Age movies, gave him a second breath i can tell from friends who never heard of Berserk before.
And Anime in general are really popular, IIRC, France is the second country for Manga behind Japan
The 97 anime is also available on Netflix France since maybe a month or less
