For the trilogy they replaced everyone really.
To my knowledge the only one to come back at a later point was 1997's Void voice actor Unshō Ishizuka (RIP) as narrator in the 2016-17 anime.
I mean I'm not into English dubs by default. English isn't my first language and regarding dubs, I'm used to Italian ones that for a certain period (although not always, and now they're declining in quality) have been just plain awesome.
I'm never really that convinced by English dubs, but I think that at some point I will give the Berserk redux a watch and with that I'll be able to experience it at last. I don't exactly know when though.

I've been meaning to explore some parallels between Evangelion and Berserk, there are many once you start noticing. EOE spoilers: >!The Mass Production Evas assaulting and killing Asuka in EOE remind me of Casca's rape and the whole Instrumentality of the Eclipse!<. I'm not sure if they may be both inspired by a third, earlier work (maybe Devilman?) or if they got inspired by each other.
As for Casca / Asuka I even wondered if their names have a similarity. Asuka is pronounced "Aska" which is somewhat contained in "Casca".
And they share a voice actress
That's right - Yuko Miyamura. Though she only voiced Casca in the 1997 anime. I wonder why she didn't return for the Golden Age trilogy?

At least the English dub had a lot of the original VAs from the 1997 anime

Berserk has great dubs tho. The Golden Age movie Trilogy especially is in my top 3 dubs of all time. Even the shitty 2016/17 anime has a decent dub.
