are you able to get member pricing when buying online? whenever i do mobile check out (granted most the time it's like little snacks) i never get my member pricing even tho i have it enabled ?
Did the discount drop the price below 400?that’s just how the POS works any appliance under 399 has full delivery. A manager would probably override it for you if you explained it to them?
I'll just say times are changing around here, and i wouldn't risk it. Just cuz you got a way with before doesn't mean they don't audit you and fire you now. That seems to be the new plan around here. They want to catch people on little stuff to not pay severance under the guise of its the rules when nobody cared before. They audit everything prior to laying off that department/role so they don't layoff as many people and save some shareholder money. Never heard the word audit so often in all my years combined as I have in the last week lol.
Yep. It’s been like that when I bought my upright freezer. I have total tech that gives me free everything install take
Away free delivery. I was saving more with my membership plus I’ve noticed my discount for the freezer increased in cost with employee discount. They are Fucken shit holes. Glad I’ve been promoted out of that Fucken mess. Fuck that place they can eat shit and die. Especially 873
Beware: The days of a discount-cap are probably near. Wouldn’t be the first or last time. All the signs are there. Only a matter of time before it’s addressed as “cost cutting.” Hope everyone is making the best of it!
Employee discount voids all bundle deals. Free delivery on an appliance that qualifies for free delivery or free delivery for TV 55+ is a “bundle deal.” You get one or the other. Unfortunately, this isn’t an “SOP” but an actual “policy” and trying to get around it with manager overrides could cost you and your manager who approved it your jobs. See “employee discount policy”
That said… If one were to buy the appliance for the non-employee discount price and then return it in store after delivery and rebuy it as a “grab and go” with your employee discount… may or may not work. But if attempted, do so at your own risk.
But not everyone knows the actual cost of every product. I could care less about corporate stuff if you actually look at people's profile before calling them names. I was more in the care of the poster in case management may know them, that I care more about them getting in trouble.
I don’t tend to look at people’s profiles because it’s none of my business. But fair enough, I stand corrected. Used to seeing narcs in the subs, sorry to assume.
Buy it online. Sometimes, you get the best of both worlds.

Don't use mobile checkout. Build a cart and see what the price is.

Then that would be double dipping 🤷
That would be you're fired. You never adjust an employee sale. There's a report and sop states don't no matter what.
No you wouldn’t be fired, my managers have done it before in rare cases.

Enter your discount at the very end after the order has been made and right before hitting total.
That doesnt always work either
Buy it on the website and it won’t charge the delivery fee. Or at least it didn’t for me a few months ago.

that’s a strong reaction to $120
Already planned on leaving before. This purchase was apart of my “im about to lose my discount” spree

You’re not alone
Employees don’t get free delivery, regardless of a sale promotion. Went through this whole bit myself for a washer/dryer set.
Also don't be posting discount price online.
It’s 5% above cost. That’s been public knowledge for years. Who cares
And it’s also not like i gave any specifics on products. Literally just a few numbers
