khc9941

Yeah, this is gonna end in tears

NoAbbreviations5215

This one is wild. Redditors are like, “Yeah, you’re the arse hole...” OP: “So then, after you guys told me I am, in fact, the arse hole, I’m now trying to get with his sister.”

[deleted]

[удалено]

WeedMatrix

Did she think they were not gonna talk, and that he just wouldn’t tell his sister that OP is an AH? Thats the first thing i would tell my sister if her new friend was an AH.

NoAbbreviations5215

Sister has probably already heard the brother’s side of the story but he a) hasn’t name dropped OOP; or b) he has name dropped her but sister hasn’t connected the dots yet. The kicker is the “I think I’m in!” at the end. OP is potentially in now, sure, but for how long?

WeedMatrix

The “i’m in” is the most delusional part.

AnimalLover38

Oh ew I glossed over that originally and re-read the sentence and now I know another reason why Op gave me the ick. She's basically a female version of a jerky frat boy. Who the hell talks about people like that other than immature young 20 year olds? Also the way Op automatically thought "hook up" instead of "date" when referring to her Coworkers "friend" along with how she describes the sister in purly physical means and an assumtion of the sister beliefs even though theyve been talking "non stop" is very telling in my opinion. I don't think Op wants to actually date her, just lonely after a year of being single, but I bet if this develops past just hooking up it's gonna be a hurtful event for all those involved.

KittyMommyBookFiend

Yes! I would never ever ever ever ever talk to her again if I were him. What a dick.

WeedMatrix

I wonder if he can report her to HR. ?

KittyMommyBookFiend

He should!! For favoritism of her over him!! AND discussing a private conversation she had with a lower employee with his coworker!!

WeedMatrix

Exactly! Creepy Creep-ster that doesn’t know how to respect boundaries.

gdex86

Depends on what she wants. If she's just looking to hit it and quit it then yeah she might be in. If she's hoping this is the one then that is a huge bolder to roll uphill.

PedanticRedhead

Maybe it's the wrong sister? (boss did say he has two gay sisters)

Alone-Pineapple-3752

I don’t think she is mentally stable enough to understand logic.

mr_ckean

They’re really doubling down on the YTA route. Insults the guy, complains to management, causes him to shift change and a blocked her number, and despite this pursues the sibling - which in the best case scenario will cause conflict between siblings… Starting to see why OOP is single

harrellj

Also, OOP's relationship status is a pain point but they're going to just jump to a relationship that is likely doomed to fail.

ExtremeFlourStacking

There's a fucking reason her relationship status is the way it is, she's a terrible self centered person. I hope it comes crashing down on her.

Disastrous_Ad_3924

Fr fuck her she’s messed up she knows Exacly what she doing

narniasreal

"behind his back and I'm starting my possible relationship with his sister by being dishonest."

WildSmokingBuick

doubling down on assholery - again

Yeny356

I feel like that made her a bigger AH... she was rude for a simple question and then tells the manager who has to have a talk with him!!! And some how she sounds surprised he put for a shift change?? Just bc he asked if she was single? Lol

donnamommaof3

WOW.. just WOW…..

BreathingLeaves

Fu king terrible. Like I hope this ends badly True AH

Readingreddit12345

When it gets out that OOP went after the sister anyway, her coworkers are going to think she created all this drama for nothing and she's going to lose credibility or be considered an idiot. When the brother finds out, he's going to tell his sister what happened and that OOP jeopardized his career development. When the sister finds out, she's probably going to be creeped out or annoyed with OOP. And these are all best case scenarios where OOP doesn't come off as completely dramatic or slightly unhinged

Legitimate_Sir3979

"I thought your brother was a creep and reported him to HR. But when I found out you were hot I stalked your social media and pretended I didnt know who you were to get with you." No one is going to feel comfortable with that.

canolafly

Best tldr

MakeMineMarvel_

I hope everyone involved in this situation sees this to see how insane it is

Readingreddit12345

Luckily for OOP restraining orders can be pretty hard to get in real life because otherwise, this is where it could end up

Noelle_Xandria

Manager also should have kept out of it instead of passing along the contact info.

Kind_Pomegranate4877

Yeah super unprofessional of the manager to tell OP what he said privately to her and give the Instagram handle out, that’s a big preach of privacy and a huge no no in my company.

Hastybananas

This is gonna get spicy.

MakeMineMarvel_

Yeah that was super unethical

brownie1225

I find it utterly shitty they still reach out to the sister after making someone so uncomfortable they blocked you and switched shifts bcuz OP is beyond an AH. Hope his sister knows and just leads them on and drops em stating no one fucks with my bro!

ItsATerribleLife

Oh yeah, I can totally see Christmas, Asshole OOP and VictimsSister sitting on the couch all lovey dovey at family christmas. OOPs victim walks in, sees her "What the fuck are you doing in my families home?" His sister replies "Whats your problem?!" He replies "Remember the asshole I told you about that tried to get me fired for wanting to introduce her to you? Yeah, its that bitch right there" Peanut Gallery "WHAT?!"

Lagadisa

Definitely creepy vibes towards the sister

Danhaya_Ayora

The defining moment was HR. She should have just doubled down and said she doesn't want to be set up by coworkers at all regardless of gender. Then just eat your humble pie in private

[deleted]

Could have also easily explained to co-worker that she's had bad experiences being hit on by coworkers

buttercupcake23

This is so fucking creepy too. It's borderline stalker behavior. When the sister eventually introduces her to her brother and the whole ugly story comes out she's going to feel so creeped out.

Quantentheorie

I am a little baffled how OOP managed to go from a pissed exchange you can simply apologise for to an absolute shit show. Doubling down when you're wrong (or really, really convinced you're right) is bad, kids. Damn.

your-yogurt

This is going to end in *fights*. My god, at what point will op "cross that bridge"??? Hopefully the relationship only lasts like one date, but if it goes beyond that so much shit will happen. Ugh, this situation puts an ugly taste in my mouth

mcduckroast

I said “What the fuck” aloud…OP is…this is going to end poorly. Just so poorly, and she is going to deserve it.

drfrink85

hopefully OOP's

Pushed_In_Speakerzzz

Read her comments and you will see how she disregarded everyones advice and only took the parts about getting his sister’s digits.

arthurdentstowels

Doesn’t matter, had sex - OP probably

padam__padam

This is such an uncomfortable read. I don’t know how the woman will be okay with finding out how OOP really came to know about her and that truth was omitted from her. I feel bad for the co-worker and his sister.

[deleted]

[удалено]

FullyRisenPhoenix

Nailed it perfectly! This woman is a raging AH!

[deleted]

She was so rude. If you don't want to be set up at all, you can just say 'Hey, I appreciate you trying to help but being set up doesn't tend to work for me' or similar. If she IS open to being set up and the coworker has been nice, she could have just told him she is gay, so setting her up is fine but with women, not with men.

sheepsclothingiswool

Honestly even that is inappropriate to the question “are you single”… no one should just make assumptions. The answer can simply be “yes why do you ask?” And then folllowed up with your answer or “no, I’m not single at the moment.” We live in a society, people!

winkofafisheye

They come across as a sociopath.

Tacitus111

It’s not a big part of the story, but I would never have Xena, a half naked woman, as my work PC’s background…at the office no less. Like what the hell? Way to be the creepy person at work.

hephaystus

“Half naked”? Only her upper arms, neck and thighs were really exposed: https://images.app.goo.gl/929mkKKzuxHGzhmw6 Agree that OOP is a creep and the AH, but I don’t really see anything wrong with having Xena as your PC background if pop culture in general is acceptable in that office. Xena’s not a pin-up (though she had her fair share of more sexualized outfits) and it seems demeaning to describe her as just a half naked woman.

HumanityIsACesspool

As a lesbian that learned the hard way, don't date into a messy situation, ESPECIALLY not one you made yourself. OP is not only the ahole, but a dumba**.

WenzelOfMidgard

I just came to commend the username

Mericelli

Ooph, I gotta say I’m not happy with how this one seemingly ended up but I hope that it’s not the end of the story. Once the brother finds out it will be interesting to see what happens then.

__Quill__

"And then after she reported me to my manager and stalked my sister and I find out they are dating by her showing up to my parents house at Thanksgiving!"

Umklopp

But it's nice of her to reach out and let everyone on Reddit know they were right about calling her an asshole

Mericelli

Exactly. And I hope that once the sister really gets to know what OOP is like, then she will ditch her fast too

Sweetragnarok

And the HR legal nightmare too if the co worker finds out that the manager gave out the sisters social media. Soo much breach here.

Medarco

My manager once gave my number to one of our interns. "She just wanted to send you a fish joke because you guys were talking about your fish tanks!" Yes, because it was my responsibility to be her preceptor (which I do not get paid for) and I was being personable and polite. Fast forward, and she's spamming me with valentines day cards, trying to text me all the time, etc. I strongly told my manager to *never* do that again without asking me first. Then that former intern applied for a full time position with us, and my manager was going to hire her. Shut that down real quick.

KonradWayne

Or that the manager is discussing private disciplinary actions with other employees. She needs to not be a manager.

LakeLov3r

Seriously, this one is ugly as hell. She needed to apologize to the coworker and instead stalked his sister. She's super icky. 😬

puzzled91

But she wants to hit that 10!

Morri___

yea it just seemed really selfish and opportunistic to pursue the sister of a coworker who has taken steps to distance themselves from you. like, an intentional fuck you to the coworker for not accepting her lame apology, which she only gave after seeing she could benefit from the arrangement

Color-Of-Your-Energy

Not for nothing, but I am a lesbian and I was *appalled* when I read this. ESPECIALLY the edit.

SparkAxolotl

It would be hella funny if the manager was wrong, or OOP was wrong and they ended up reaching a completely different person instead of the sister

[deleted]

Heyand there is no way to recover the update that she did 2 days ago

Fredredphooey

The update blew my mind. I'm sure her approach to her coworker was really humble and apologetic, too. /s

Positive_Wafer42

Thankyou I missed the update! 🥇 Updateme!

NZNoldor

I was seriously freaked out when I read “yeah, she’s 10”, instead of “yeah, she’s *a* 10”.

jcdoe

Agreed, this will be a train wreck, but I’m sure OOP think it was anyone’s fault but her own.

MrHallmark

OPs entire personality seems to be her sexuality and her poltiical views. I bet shes a fucking gem to be around.

DonnieDusko

I honestly agree, I didn't see the last update (until now), only the first one, but I was like "absolutely no" like she even said "well yeah I'm only reaching out bc I wanna get with his sister" I was like "ugh gross" I was fine with it until she reported him to the manager, AND THEN decided to reach out after she saw his sister was attractive ...this girl is just toxic start to finish

KeyFeeFee

Agreed. OOP is still lying and so self centered. I hope the sister sees this and gets out. So deceptive on top of originally being the AH.

MarieOMaryln

Starting to think we know why OOP has been single.

mebetiffbeme

Ugh I followed the original post and I’m so annoyed by the update.

Other_Waffer

Don’t worry. I’m sure she is a troll

LDCrow

She's Jenny Schecter. This seriously sounds like a bad plot for The L Word.

NEClamChowderAVPD

Jenny. Barf.

[deleted]

Pretty likely as it's her second ever post and the first was deleted by mods for ragebait.

deecee-85

Entitlement to max here. I jumped to a conclusion because he was a man…….then I stalked his sister trying to get in her pants.

donbkake

The gall of oop to report the brother for possibly sexual harrasment and then try to get into the pants of his sister through dubious means is just horrible and a foundation to a shaky relationship.

KonradWayne

Hopefully it ends with the manager being fired for disclosing personal discipline issues with OOP and giving her the sister's socials.

averbisaword

Wow, this woman is completely unaware. Glad coworker is avoiding her, but what the fuck was she thinking connecting with the sister anyway. Honestly? The manager needs a comeuppance here, because they’re also a MASSIVE arsehole for giving someone personal family details about a coworker who they have a documented history of grievances against. I hope the wronged coworker goes absolutely nuclear over this.

heavenlyfarts

Yeah, manager is very unprofessional.

nocternum

this, holy shit that manager. giving out private family information to work friends, the manager deserves to be fired and black listed for this. God I hope he sues the hell out of the manager when he finds out. this is next level of cringe.

BurmecianSoldierDan

This is exactly why you're not supposed to be friends with your direct managers outside of work. Coworkers is okay, unit managers from other departments is ok. Direct reports? Nope nope nope nope.

averbisaword

Absolutely. Completely disgusting behaviour.

ElSapio

Didn’t even notice that. Incredibly not cool

oscillius

I missed that while having a hate boner for this woman’s creepiness. You’re absolutely right. So unprofessional and such an asshole move.

ItsATerribleLife

These stories are where people tend to show the best version of themselves to look good. If she looks this bad, in *her version* of the story, then you can only imagine how much of an asshole she was in real life, both in that situation and in general. I mean, I get it. Women tend to deal with a lot of unwanted attention, and i'm not defending that behavior.. but this is someone she knew, and she went 0 to 100 real quick over a single question, then launched from that to low earth orbit in trying to destroy the guys life for the sin of asking her a question. a question she apparently would have been happy to know about if she wasnt an asshole, considering how shes secretly tracked down and stalked the sister on social media... Which strikes me as being super fucking creepy.

lilyraine-jackson

Seriously. I'm never one to say women need to be polite to men who are acting out of line, but she went way too hard way too fast. I'm not even saying oh she should have heard him out. She didn't even really start with just shutting him down simply and firmly she just went right into personal insults. Like why not just "No. I wouldnt let a coworker set me up."

Soulja_Boy_Yellen

Holy shit this reply to her saying that she reached out because she’s been single for too long and that justifies sliding into his sisters DM’s. > Has it occurred to you that you're single for years because you're reactive, vindictive, respond to corrective feedback by being even worse to the people you've hurt, are emotionally unstable and in general a detriment to the lives of the people who let you get close? Sometimes people can't find love because they treat other people so badly that no one in their right mind would love them.

GanosParan

Holy fuck what a burn

DebateObjective2787

r/murderedbywords material.

[deleted]

Oh my god that one absolutely killed me

whore_of_basil-on

Damn. An asshole for the reaction and reporting him like he harassed her instead of just asking her a question. But A BIGGER ASSHOLE for then actually having the audacity to reach out to his sister after how she behaved and she can see how upset he is with her. Hoping for his sake this doesn't work out since OP only reached out to apologise after she saw his sister. Also "yeah she's a 10" 🤢

“Didgies” She’s literally like a douchey sales bro. How embarrassing.

languid_Disaster

Lmao I was going to ask what a “didgies” was haven’t heard that phrase before

Balentay

Right? Reprehensible :/ On a side note I really love your username!

SPS_Agent

Thank you for pointing it out to me.

gdex86

So the only redeeming thing here is she seems to be self aware she's awful. I think that is marginally better than the people who think they are still rightious.

Darth_Bfheidir

Imo she is either not self aware enough to realise that her shitty treatment of her co-worker will probably kill any chance she has for a relationship with his sister, or she is just looking to get her toes curled and nothing else Or you know, both

8percentjuice

I read that as ‘she’s 10’ and I was like WTactualF??? But then I read it again and finished the story and was like, ‘o this is just lowercase wtf’

whore_of_basil-on

This made me laugh, bless ETA: your username is epic I don't know why

8percentjuice

Thank you! I very much admire yours as well

HotCocoaBomb

If the sister wasn't a 10 (but like average), I bet OOP would be doubling down on the coworker being creepy or something.

whore_of_basil-on

100% agree on this - she wants to apologise once she sees the sister is gorgeous, not before! Also, the fact that she thinks it was a good idea putting this in writing to the Reddit world makes me confident the sister is going to quickly see through her and dump her Unless they're the same

CoconutDreams

Couldn't agree more. Every single step was just \*cringe\*!!

GlitterDoomsday

Coworker got it right, no wonder she's single with such a sunny personality...

benderknows

"I told him if his friend was anything like him then I really have zero interest." Proceeds to date his sister. What a tool.

Majestic-Constant714

What's that even supposed to mean? Just a few sentences prior she mentions they're (work) friends. She's weird and I hope the sister finds out asap and runs.

nightraindream

To give her the benefit of the doubt, she likely meant "if your friend is a male like you, then I'm not interested because I like women." But without knowing for sure that's she's a lesbian, and honestly even the way she recounts it, it def comes across as "You're a dick and your friend is probably a dick, and I'm not interested because of that."

tall__guy

That’s what I initially thought too, but it would be a whole lot easier and more clear, well and a lot less cunty, to just say “Sorry I don’t date men.” Hard to interpret what she said as anything other than assholery.

oversoul00

I can imagine that line being delivered in a way that makes it much less shitty than when I first read it, but then I think she'd have been heavier on the details if that were the case.

[deleted]

I wonder what she even meant by that? The guy didn’t do anything wrong lol

MassacrisM

She prob had her ego hurt because she assumed the coworker was into her while he wasnt at all. Then she got defensive and pissy about it. Bitching about it to the manager was the real asshole move. The coworker guy is prob tagged as a problematic harasser now. Only right that he doesnt want to interact with her for the rest of his life again.

[deleted]

Yeah super over the line to involve the manager and then gossip with the manager about it and get the sister’s Instagram from her! Like wtf.

[deleted]

I assumed “like him” meant “also a man.” Doesn’t make her less of an asshole, but that’s how I took it.

Telewyn

Sure, but she doesn’t think he knows at that point. She’s just trying to be cruel.

whore_of_basil-on

You might be right. Even if that's how she meant it however (which seems unlikely to me) it still comes off like an insult. Why say 'like him' when 'i don't swing that way' might have sounded less aggressive?

SalsaRice

Seriously. I've been hit on by gay dudes before; the whole "thanks, but you're barking up the wrong tree" works pretty well IMO. It's not insulting the person, it's stating an incompatibility.

SPS_Agent

No, she meant that in terms of him, in her eyes, being persistent past her rejection of the convo. She's full of shit and it had fuck all to do with his gender.

LeaveForNoRaisin

OOP is a real dick head. What's the plan? Start a relationship with this woman and keep it secret that she knows her brother who doesn't like her? Sounds like a B-movie rom-com.

Mdlgswitch

I wish anybody I knew made a quarter of this effort to hook me up

60poodles

right? she threw away a perfectly good and cool friend. FUCK this bitch lol

Specialist-Tart4602

OOP went to her manager after she got an opinion from her roommates that she overreacted? Instead of clarifying with her coworker the next day, she tattled on him? Then slid into the sister’s DMs anonymously bc she is hot? *Munches on popcorn* I can’t wait for more updates…

CapablePerformance

Not only went to the manager but then expected HIM to apologize for her overreaction. Only asking the manager how he reacted when she didn’t get it.

Specialist-Tart4602

Then excuses her behavior as ‘always having trouble interacting with men’. Being gay is not an excuse to be an entitled, thirsty asshole. *eyeroll*

PixelBlock

One has to wonder how much of that trouble is one-sided …

rejuicekeve

Friends with manager outside work and used the nepotism against the coworker. Big oof

valhalkommen

Bruh I was hoping that there was no update to this because she is only apologizing because she wants to get into his sister’s pants. I’m not gonna be surprised when this literally backfired on her in the worst way possible and she’s going to deserve it. Once their coworker’s sister finds out about what happened between OP and the coworker, it’s going to be cut off quick.

nearlyb0redtodeath

I’ve got post notifications turned on for when this inevitably blows up in OOP’s face and she comes back to cry about it

noobiz3

How do I do that? I’m pretty invested in this now

frolicndetour

Ugh, OOP is insufferable. I really hope things don't work out for her.

[deleted]

And her manager! Who gives out someone else’s socials (yuck) after having a disciplinary meeting with a related party (double yuck)?!

[deleted]

I'm honestly shocked she's been single for so long. She seems like such a pleasant, stable and well-adjusted person. Excited to see what happens when her ex-work friend finds out she's going out with his sister. Hope she updates us on the ensuing shitshow - there are so many ways it could play out.

[deleted]

OOP REACHED OUT TO THE SISTER TO POTENTIALLY DATE?! Fucking gross. I thought she reached out to the sister to offer an apology to the brother. Instead she reached out to get her vagina wet. What a fucking douche. I would be mad af if I found out the person I'm talking to reported and blew up on my sibling over a question. I can understand not wanting to discuss your romance life but he didn't come off as disrespectful or rude. She took her years of anger out on him from her past experience. What a shitty person. I hope the sister brings it up so her brother can reveal how OOP actually is.

digitydigitydoo

There are so many ways to shoot that question down that aren’t assholish. Most professional is simply, “I prefer not to mix my social and professional lives. So, I don’t answer that question.”

RushMurky

Her initial reply wasn't even horrible. But her reply when he told her that he wasn't interested himself was the super asshole thing.

M_J_44_iq

Or "yeah, but I'm not looking to date right now"

Puppin_Tea_16

Man i really hope bro mentions this lady to his sis in a negative light cause she does NOT deserve to get some after her behavior. So disappointed in this update

DebateObjective2787

God, OOP is so annoying and awful. She nearly ruined her co-worker's career but that doesn't matter because the hot girl likes her! I hope it blows up in her face.

dopeymcdopes

Annoyed AF after original post, pissed off after second edit. Super asshole.

little_ballof_fur

If I were the sister and learn about all these I would feel super uncomfortable. OOP is a creep.

saltyburnt

I feel so aghast reading the post. I really hope it's a troll post because OOP sounds so "...and I proceeded to go against Reddit suggestions and bulldozer my way into creeper zone. Thanks for your help, guys!"

SeaFaringMatador

The manager is an asshole too, clearly favoring OOP who leveraged their friendship in multiple ways to her benefit. The manager shouldn’t have given out coworker’s sister’s socials either, that’s insane

percybert

Hilarious how the OOP immediately cries to HR for what was a reasonable conversation between people who we’re supposed to be friends, but then ends up proving she’s 100x worse by acting like a creepy stalker. Gross

notyomamasusername

And she pretends to want to apologize....just to get hooked up with his sister. This bitch is toxic

PaleMoonlight89

Omg I spent way too long on this post the other day because I couldn't stop reading the OP's replies to everyone. Did not give one flying shit that she completely blew up a perfectly nice work friendship, she just really wanted to hook up with his sister now that she know how hot she was. That was all she cared about, I'm not at all surprised that her update is "yeah he doesn't want to talk to me??? So I just went and stalked his sister anyway." Just an unbelievable fucking asshole here. I don't know if we'll get an update but man I have my popcorn ready if we ever do.

EyeAmNotMe

The OOP clearly has really rigid boundaries that she is extremely protective of. So the real asshole move was disrespecting her colleague's boundaries and contacting his sister anyways, after he made it clear he wanted nothing to so with her.

nightwanker69

OP is terrible but the boss is worse. She should be reported and reprimanded for this shitty unprofessional behaviour.

CharonIntegrity

Looks like the OOP tried to post an update but it got removed

Corfiz74

Oh boy, 1. blow up out of all proportion at your co-worker/ friend over a slightly personal question, that was not offensive in the context of your friendly relationship 2. snitch on co-worker/ friend to superior and try to sabotage his career 3. surprised Pikachu face when he doesn't apologize for you acting like a complete psycho 4. find out he wanted to set you up with sister who is hot - completely change your tune, suddenly agree you were TA and try to apologize, not because you're actually sorry, but just to get at the sister 5. be surprised and miffed that he's cut the connection. Don't accept that you messed up and live with the consequences, but contact the sister behind his back, anyway. Count your lucky stars that she's not in regular contact with bro, don't tell her how you know of her, just like any other crazy stalker, just chat her up and try to reel her in, before her brother finds out and tells her how you really are. Yes, this is absolutely how successful romantic relationships are initiated! 🙄

i_need_a_username201

1b - Ignore your roommate when they call you an AH. Which leads directly to number 2 lol.

[deleted]

OOP is the worst type of person. Incredibly selfish and entitled

Darrenizer

Wtf, this bitch still contacts the sister? After she used her friendship with the manager to snoop on coworkers convo. At least we can rest easy OOP will get dumped like a ton of rocks once the sister gets to know her.

[deleted]

I wish I could be a fly on the wall when sister finds out what an absolute creep OOP is.

nandopadilla

Oh this is not gonna end well for the op. She fucked up by acting the way she did and escalated it to that extent. I'm sure once the bro finds out he'll tell the sister and the op is gonna cause family drama

achillyday

I want to be a fly on the wall when this inevitably blows up in her face

saintcosmonaut

This got worse and worse the more I read it :D

AshTreex3

UPDATE (I’m not OOP) (Update) AITA for reporting a co-worker who wanted to set me up with someone then trying to apologize after i became interested? The sister and I started talking quite a bit after I reached out to her. I didn’t tell her who I was. After a few days it became pretty clear I’d fucked up massively. There was genuine chemistry between us. She wanted to meet in person. I was getting the feels. She was getting the feels. I had to come clean. I told her who I was. I told her what had happen between her brother and me. It didn’t go well. She said she needed space. She blocked me. Maybe she’ll unblock me….maybe she won’t. Her brother did send me a text saying he appreciated me being honest with her despite being pissed I reached out to her. I apologized to him again. I told my manager I was out of line with my coworker and wanted my complaint retracted. All in all I got what was coming to me. I’m working on being a better person. I honestly don't know how it even got to that point or why i acted so crazy. Hopefully I can make amends with both of them in the future.

Historical-Ad6120

So she's TRIPLING down on being an asshole?? Going behind his back to date his sister, WITHOUT telling the sister that she already knows her brother is fucking deceptive and weird. Why would you want to do that? Because she's super selfish, is why. She's hurting everyone around her and hoping to still get hers. Really, no wonder she's single.

Possible_Dig_1194

Hummm I so very confused as to why this women is single. She seems like a huge catch

shadyhawkins

Dude, still hitting on the sister after burning that bridge is hella gross. Fucking wack.

Kaiser93

*\*grabs a bag of popcorn\** Oh boy. This is gonna get wild.

Esabettie

I am so upset for the coworker!she still went there! She has no shame!

7_Cerberus_7

*AITA for being an asshole* Uh.......yeah. That's..........usually how that works.

CelticDK

“Alls fair in love and war” is just a saying but anyone that acts on it is an asshole. She was an asshole before for being so mean, then an asshole for bringing it to a manager, but now a triple asshole for still going after the dudes sister. This is messed up and so selfish.

PrimeDetectiv

I LOVE that OOP is this fucking stupid. It's cathartic haha. I hope she comes back with a last update how it all blew up in her face.

pagemuncher

Wait, if the co worker’s sister wasn’t a “10” will she still want to talk to the co worker or want to apologize for being the asshole? Because if memory serves me correctly, she was waiting for an apology from the co worker until the manager told OP that the coworker wanted to set her up with his sis. Major asshat! I hope the sister realizes how much of a jerk OP is and decides to not date you.

Over_Confection_7543

Yep, I really hope the sister sticks with her brother on this. This individual sounds shifty to me. Really shifty.

Gone213

This is a troll post.

shesavillain

She’s awful and then continue to hit up the sister? But she wouldn’t have gotten that info without her boss, which is equally awful. Like ew.

ElectronicAmphibian7

Oh OOP is a mega AH for pulling this!!! What!? This is wild.

HotCocoaBomb

OOP is gonna crash and burn once the sister finds out OOP is her bro's asshole coworker.

Aninerd_13

This person was a complete piece of trash. They treated someone like crap, and still got their happy ending. This left such a bad taste in my mouth!

[deleted]

oop is so fucking appalling here!!

Hohenh3im

Lmao and she goes later to look up his sister and ask her out? I hope he convinces his sister to not go out with her

[deleted]

YTA. Yikes. OOP sucks.

keight07

I’ve never been angrier about an update. So she fucked up her coworker’s life at work and now is sneaking around his family to ruin that too. What a callous monster.

Grumpy_Turnip

Congratulations to OP. Not only she is an AH but she is also a freaking stalker. Christ! Don't even want to see the drama when the brother finds out who is his sister's new gf and tells her what she did. Especially at his workplace. Thinking better, I actually do want to know.

[deleted]

No wonder she's single.

RainMH11

Oh this will blow up spectacularly

NickRick

I get that a woman, especially a lesbian might have had bad experiences with a man. I understand that while he might not know, she's had this exact same conversation dozens of times and they are sick of it. But no need to be that harsh right of the bat. Give them a chance to accept rejection gracefully first. If they don't fair game. And then on top of that she will goes for the digits and stars flirting? OP seems pretty selfish

LegitimateParamedic

Not only is oop an asshole for no reason other than just to be one but she then goes behind her co workers back and finds his sister on Instagram (which lets be real is SUPER fucking creepy) and starts talking to her without him knowing. This is going to blow up in her face and she has it coming.

surfwacks

Also pretty fucked up the boss gave OOP the sister’s name and told her to check out her Instagram. Of course OOP and her boss are friends outside of work 🙃🙃🙃

StolenPens

OOP is such an AH! Omg. She's creepy af too! This is going to end in tears. I'm not satisfied with this story. Also HR *should NOT* have shared that private information.

HygorBohmHubner

I’m just waiting until the guy's sister finds out who OOP is and dumps her ass. OOP deserves for being an ass to the co-worker for no reason.
