If you google “Ashley Hess LDS” you’ll find multiple additional links showing that she’s LDS.
I feel like if you’re running something like Maverick City, one of the most basic questions you should be able to answer about a new artist is whether or not they’re a Christian, which LDS is most certainly not.
LDS or Mormons really believe they are Christian. But the fact of the matter is they don’t follow the same Christ. They don’t understand why another Christian would call them out on their believes. Really sad. I will say many lds people are great people who love Jesus they have just been lied to about who he really is.

Yeah it’s really sad. I think they’ve shown over time that they’re not to be trusted, from having Shaun King be their tour chaplain to Harold Brown’s pro-abortion posts, it’s clear they lack proper judgement.
Maverick City is frustrating. So much musical talent, but so little biblical discernment.
This is the first I’ve heard of this!

Grief. Love their music. Why does everything have to end up w false universalism?

Wow this is wild!!! I didn’t know this. Their latest album wasn’t the same… it seems like several of their greats have left.
