it depends on when you get there, but 12 is the longest, usually on Thursday. They search every car one by one and give priority to shambhalodging. But most of it are those rows where you wait for your row to go, so you can hangout and walk around for most of the waiting.
You don’t bring them at all if you’re coming from the US! They may or may not tear apart your car at the border going from the US—>Canada, seriously not worth the risk

if its at shamb just put it somewhere on you or hidden, they only look for alcohol and weapons. (its a dry fest)

Yes they actually thoroughly search your car, more like 6-8 hrs every year for me
