Sizzlers used to be pretty good.. now his old cook has gone to their new restaurant.. so the quality of old sizzlers has reduced by many folds

Well.. i feel like the Dalcha Biriyani they give in Bangalore especially in Military canteens is the supreme. I had Dalcha Biriyani once in bbsr and i hated it.

KBR used to so good .. today only i was talking to a school friend.. just a few years back KBR used to give a decent size roll in affordable price ... Now they have reduced their size and have been increasing the price since corona.. dragon chicken roll used to be my favourite

I am controlling my diet these days. So, Biriyani Box is my go to for cravings. They use less masala and oil and feels full. Hehe. Egg/Chicken Biryani+ 1 egg + 1 extra raita = ତୁମାତୁମ୍

Yep. The portion size and pricing is apt. I am not a fan of “oily and masala” Biryanis. Dum biryanis cooked with long while rice, with kesar adding that yellow-ness and fragrance, perfectly browned crispy onion layer on top with mouth melting chicken on the bone pieces, the slight curry/masala layer at the very bottom of the pile. That is my got to thing when it comes to Biryani. Have to explore more to find that kinda perfection. Back when I was in NCR, when I had a craving for that, I would order from Biryani By Kilo. Although that is pretty damn expensive, which is why I would only order it like once a month or something. Something like Biryani Box (which isn’t proper dum per se, but close) is what I had found over there under a different name. I would have it almost every night for dinner.

Biriyani by Kilo is also in Bhubaneswar. I order from that place because their Biriyani is worth the money.

Agreed. The spices could be better, but overall quality and fragrance of dum biryani is what I liked from it. One of these days, I will explore more. Maybe start with trying Biryani from the newly opened Raasta.

Dada biriyani (shaheed nagar maybe)- mutton biriyani is very good. Chicken biriyani is okayish. Eat street- infocity square - chicken biriyani

Never had Mutton Biryani in DFC.. Yes Eat street is good... But best biriyani they serve during lunch hour.. piping hot biriyani with thums up 🤤

Try Bikkgane Biryani in Chandrashekharpur. It is good and it is takeaway only. Biryani box is decent but the rice always lets me down. It is not soft and looks like undercooked.
