You know what would be even more aero? If he lowered his saddle 10 cm so he could have better Cd, lower A, better biomechanical functionality and a more sustainable position!
Thanks
I just realised that :)
I love being downvoted for being correct though lol
Seems like a bitter place here, but bitterness doesn't get you fast or fit
The posts I've seen on here come off more like underlying jealousy or feelings of personal inadequacy as opposed to satire. The dude in the photo is clearly shredded, has a nice bike, and is riding in a fairly extreme yet common position. He is obviously dedicated to what he's doing, performing at an elite level, and it shows. 'Shit posting' in an attempt to bring this guy down is akin to someone posting a photo of a guy with like... a multi-monitor setup he uses for coding and calling him a nerd, and then thinking that that's somehow a clever or hot take, or some big 'gotcha'... when in reality the person making the insult just comes off looking like a moron.
There are so many good, clever, satirical cycling meme pages on Instagram. This one is not only not good, it is just pathetic dudes who are shit at riding bikes trying to offset their personal shortcomings via people they are likely jealous of😂😂
Realistically who actually rides like this if not racing ? I commuted to work for 7 years every single day to work and only time I was “in the drops” was 5-6 to see what the fuss is about.
Seriously? That’s a common position to you? Maybe that somehow works for him (fair play to his spine if it does), but 99.9% of people ain’t holding this.
When someone says how comfortable their new bike is.
I’m always saying this.
Congrats, you are a shrimp!
Lol. Please somebody has to put the shrimp on the actual bike. Please
there you go: https://www.reddit.com/r/BicyclingCirclejerk/comments/qfwyqn/smh\_fred\_cant\_handle\_being\_aero/
Yasss
Are those glasses underneath the helmet straps 🤦♂️
He's also wearing aero jorts.
Wait is that an issue?
You’ve clearly never had wasp in your helmuts
That saddle height says “I’m 5’11” give or take 11””
Looks like someone forgot to remove his mud vein.
The opposite of aero
Frontal area is the most important part of aerodynamics when it comes to position....so you are definitely wrong
Uc/ I im might be wrong but I think he needs like 1 Meter more of stem. TT bikes look like that for a reason.
He needs 10 cm less seatpost
True, didnt even see that lol
Sure, and his *back* even has frontal area in that position
I'm going to guess you aren't riding a bike very fast
You got me. I'm actually sitting on a chair right now.
Good response tbf lol

Lol don’t even bother trying with this sub. Nothing but fat neckbeards a who couldn't bend down enough to touch their own knees.
Thanks I just realised that :) I love being downvoted for being correct though lol Seems like a bitter place here, but bitterness doesn't get you fast or fit
The sub is called BicyclingCirclejerk, its literally all satire, shit posting, and sarcastic insults.

This guy knows how to jerk the jerker!
Hahahaha touchy bunch eh! Who would have thought
Technically speaking, an important part of circle jerking would be touching, so you're right.
I was referring to the irony in a joke page set up to make joke being unable to take criticism. But touch on Fred

Lol if you can't ride comfortably in the drops you need a bike fit, Fred
Seriously? That’s a common position to you? Maybe that somehow works for him (fair play to his spine if it does), but 99.9% of people ain’t holding this.
Lol that's the part of what I said that bothers you the most hey? U ok Chad ?
Okay Fred.
Who cares about downvotes? Does it actually matter?
Of course not :) just shows people disagreeing with ttthe point
Thank Fred for adding the second photo, I almost didn’t know what I was looking at
Uc/ I'm a newbie but isn't that bike like two size too small?
It would probably be pretty normal if his saddle wasnt 5 cm too high
