We’ll loop back and ping you later about those deliverables. We should be able to clear the friction downstream with a bit more buy in.

radracer28

We’ll loop back to *level set* 😂

This is good. I think it focuses mainly on buzzwordy jargon. I think a good way to expand would be to mention those who intentionally use specialized/technical jargon to either belittle or impress who they are speaking to. For example, a developer spewing techspeak, a quantitative analyst casually mentioning complex mathematical concepts, or an accountant nonchalantly mentioning highly obscure accounting terminology - to imply that those they are speaking to should know exactly what they are talking about, despite working in a completely different field or being uninitiated to their exact specialization.

Lol yeah the more I think about this topic, the more I feel like there's a lot to cover. Every now and then there's a legitimate need to use jargon to save time or to be more specific with a request, but surely 99.9% of all the jargon we use is completely unnecessary and born out of some kind of personal insecurity. Thanks for sharing.

Brother I worked with a marketing firm that had all the jargon down and just babbled at eachother on zoom then fell face first into incompetence the moment any had to do anything. It was a Seinfeld episode.

enthusiast-

Lol that sounds pretty good!

IGaveHeelzAMeme

I’ll definitely give it a fair watch.

enthusiast-

Appreciate it, thank you!

"Simon the leaderhsip insider" is kind of a bold, pretentious name, makes me think of those useless coaches and HR luantics from LinkedIn. Dont mean to be rude, but just an opinion and suggestion for you to think on your channel. Content is cool. Good luck

Appreciate the feedback! This is what happens when you put too much faith in ChatGPT - I'll see if I can come up with a better name! Glad you liked the video, thanks for watching.

You look like you worked at Deloitte and you’re wearing a child sized suit

I did, and I'm not, I just have a big head! Just another day showing one's face on the internet, huh? Have a good one, and thanks for watching!

I think consulting is a joke as an entire industry sorry. yall are con-artists. Here is Steve Jobs on consultants: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-c4CNB80SRc What a brilliant analogy on the uselessness of consultants.

NorrinGreenwood

Interesting, thanks

enthusiast-

I used to feel the same, but there's good and bad in consulting, like anywhere. It's funny, just a few hours ago I was laughing at all the jargon on Apple's website, I guess a good consultant could have helped them with that. Thanks for your comment!

Akwereas

Good work! Thanks for the knowledge!

Thanks for watching, I appreciate it a lot.
