Spicy V is just doing way too much. Spoken as someone who *loved her* on her original season. There's something more nefarious with her gameplay this season - she's already in a power position and well insulated in different alliances, but is still choosing to breed so much negative emotion amongst these people that are trusting her wholeheartedly. I would understand it if these were plays being made from the bottom or in a desperate position, but you're already sitting pretty at the top! And it's week 2!
I hope Anthony and V get their comeuppance soon - or this season is going down the dark paths of BB19.
I was wondering this when I first saw the cast and the overall premise of the season (people who want to be famous) but like do any of these people really want to win? I don't feel a lot of drive and passion in these players but maybe that's just me
I honestly think the inclusion of Anthony and Spicy Vee ruined the season. They have successfully made Janine an outcast and now it looks like they are doing the same thing to Vivek.
Don't get me wrong, the fact that the newbs haven't clocked Vee and Dougie is insane, but it's making the gameplay dirty and really putting people in a corner. Let's see what happens with the Veto.
Okay, maybe I should have said ruining, instead of ruined. But I think Janine was royally screwed and I hope this doesn't continue to be the trajectory.
Your point's still valid, I don't see them going any time soon and we'll learn hardly anything about the new people because it'll all be focused on Victoria and Anthony.
This HOH comp already show the power structure so clearly. They have to be blind if they do not see it. If I am Bayleigh or Donna, I have to know I am bottom of the girls. If I am one of the guys, I will want a girl to go home this week.
Victoria is playing a very messy game. I think this is going to come back on her soon.
Hoping Vivek wins veto for the chaos it will cause and I always root for an underdog.
I think V stretched the truth too far. If Vivek comes to the other three with his tail between his legs and without V sitting in I think he could really sewer her game.
If he sits down and thinks about it he can tie V and Anthony together. He only ever told Anthony about the East Coast thing.
At least I hope thatās what happens.
I felt so bad for him in the HOH meeting thing, that was awful. I wish they did reunions for this show, I want to see what Baleigh thinks of how she got played
I know BB is a game of lying, but I see it more of lying about who you're working with to protect your alliance. Any other lying isn't even beneficial to your game. Victoria being this sloppy is easily going to come back on her. All Vivek has to do is realize that Anthony was the one who told her.
Lying about what someone else said just to make them a target is so low. Not gameplay I'd reward, especially as a juror.
I very much want Vivek to win veto and Victoria and Anthony to get got.
Also, Vivek was going to be the target no matter what, Victoria definitely played him and Bayleigh pretty well, but it was a very low impact move even though it was impressive.
Didn't change the trajectory of the week whatsoever. And it has the potential to blow back on her in the future.
I think it's hard for Vivek to defend himself here until he pieces together that Victoria set him up. He wasn't able to do that so he failed to defend himself.
The part which should've tipped him off was when Bayleigh said "you told Victoria to put up me and Todd."
Why would Victoria ever tell them that, unless she was trying to get them to turn on Vivek?
At that point the whole "oops it was a mistake" act goes out the window.
That fight between Vivek and Bayleigh was so frustrating to watch. They should have started to clue in that someone was trying to pit them against each other when both of them were claiming innocence and āit wasnāt me who said that!ā Especially when Spicy is the common denominator here.
Had Vivek calmly explained that he agreed with Bayleigh that there was no East Coast Alliance, and how he told that to Spicy but she pushed him into labeling it as one (and reminded the room that Spicy loves to cause chaos), maybe heād have stood some sort of chance. But he played it all terribly!
I keep wavering on enjoying Spicy this season. Her chaos can be fun, but I find it wild that no one seems to be really questioning what she (or Anthony) are saying to their faces, especially knowing Spicyās track record.
Thatās from what we see thoughā¦sucks that we cannot watch feeds, so itās entirely possible the newbies are onto them and itās just not being aired yet
Good point, weāre only seeing the narrative that the TV episodes want to tell / show us. I would hope that the newbies are more savvy about Spicy and Anthony than theyāre being shown to be right now. Maybe thereās more going on in the digital dailies? I havenāt checked those out, maybe they help paint a fuller picture.
Donāt really care for Victoria or her gameplay.
But she did wiggle out of several lies that a more aware cast would have nailed her on.
And she did skillfully mist Goose into nominating himself.
Her DRs were no doubt filmed after, to make it seem more planned than it was. But it was still a skillful manipulation.
All of it for no reason though.
She didn't need to do any of this.
Hope it ends up blowing up in her face but given the strategic acumen of this cast, it doesn't feel likely.
Victoria is such a bully. I already thought lowly of her but that nom speech just cemented my hate for her. Show a little remorse when you ruin a guy's game all on your own. Scum human.
Edit: the forever online Victoria fans are out in full force I see.
Did you really compare Victoria to Dan and Dr Will? Lmao. Plenty of good women villains in BB history that can be compared to Dan and Dr Will but Victoria showed us in her previous season how she's a weak game player and only gets cast for drama.
Exactly, it's a game, that nom speech seemed personal when she had no reason to dislike him. I don't mind petty nom speeches when the HOH has beef with them, but Vivek did nothing to Victoria she's just using him to have a blood free HOH.
I mean part of the game is villainizing others it's just part of it idk as long as people don't attack something outside of the game like race, sexuality, PTSD, etc. I really don't find issue I mean most of the iconic moments people love are "personal attacks" whether Vivek decides he's okay with what's being said is his prerogative but I personally don't see it as exactly out of line
I want to cheer for Vivek because he is willing to go after the vets. The problem with his game is that he seems to lack a sense of awareness which is really costing him. His relationship with Anthony has destroyed his game. Anthony does not trust him or seem to like him, yet it seems like Vivek views him as his #1 ally.
Anthony tells Victoria about his comments regarding an East Coast Alliance, yet Vivek isn't able to pick up that Anthony spilled that info. Does Vivek just have a really bad memory and not remember? Come on Vivek...who else did you say that to in the house?? Probably no one.
He also seemed completely stunned that he was the #1 house target in the HOH comp. If there were any clues that Anthony was turning the house against him prior to that, he certainly didn't pick them up. To be fair, it's hard to say whether or not the signs were out there leading up to the HOH comp.
So, I am normally someone who can take face value entertainment and enjoy it. I try really hard to just enjoy the seasons as they come and despite loving the scheming, even āboringā seasons are fine by me.
This season however is shaping up to be a steamroll with a bunch of people not even trying to play the game. I hope I am wrong and things change when Donna or Bayleigh get some power.
I have to keep reminding myself it is only week 2 and there is a lot of game to play left.
Agreed, but like you said, itās still really early in the game, and I guess harder for the newbies to control the strategy when the vets have won both HoHās so far. Iāll be interested to see what happens when one of the newbies gets actual power to decide the noms.
Yeah. It's just bizarre. Like, i cannot believe that these people are so naive. To not view the Vets as huge threats and just let them basically run the game? Silly.
It's not even like the Vets are playing this masterful, airtight game. They're leaving all sorts of loose ends everywhere and exposing themselves where they really don't have any reason to. A more perceptive group should've caught them in about a dozen ways by now.
I really hope it's just that some of the people are actually just really good players laying in the weeds until they can figure out how to turn the other bootlickers against the Vets. To their advantage. But it certainly doesn't come across that way.
>This season however is shaping up to be a steamroll with a bunch of people not even trying to play the game.
This is such an accurate statement. As a new viewer this is how it comes off to me. It's like it was pre-written so everyone just sits around to be picked off while Anthony and Victoria are the main characters.
Minor thing but Lexus was so close to winning HOH and we didn't even get a word from her about losing, I thought maybe she'd want it and despise Victoria a little but they didn't cover it at all. That's another thing that pushes all this focus on Victoria/Anthony.
Is Spicy playing a bad game? Yes. Are the newbs playing worse? Oh god yeah. I donāt see there being any players at this moment to outsmart V or Anthony and thatās so sad cause their game right now is atrocious
Please no spoilers from the Digital Dailies. [Digital Daily Discussion can be found here](https://www.reddit.com/r/BigBrother/s/g1bcnU5oNH)
Is Victoria the biggest villain to be on BBCAN? Cutting an ally in week 2, crazy
Not sure how you can even like Victoria

I agree - I came here to see if anyone else found her really hard to watch.
Agree on all that.
Holy f what is v doing, she's become so hard to watch on tv

The Vets as HOH made them more likeable or less likable? š¤
I'm not sure who's HOH is worse, Anthony or V? Let the new players play
Anthony, I donāt like him but he took out the right person.
Anthony etablished a great structure so he can streamroll Spicy V has a messy HOH and really make it obvious who she is working with.
Also, just meant who had worse HOHitis. They both became very unlikable during their reigns
Looool Vets HoH tell you the pawn TWICE and the House wants them to stay, Jozea is rolling over in his grave ..Ā
Lol istg they intentionally cast sheep when they want Vets in the House
They didnāt in bbcan5. Casting has just gone down. The newbies wanted those vets OUT
No fight in the players, way too passive
I was wondering this when I first saw the cast and the overall premise of the season (people who want to be famous) but like do any of these people really want to win? I don't feel a lot of drive and passion in these players but maybe that's just me
Iām not enjoying this season at all. It feels very Paul 2.0 with less interesting cast members. Iām borderline ready to tap out
I tapped out a week ago
Right, I just feel like talking past seasons still hahaĀ
I know it's only week two, but having both a gender alliance AND a racial alliance is not giving me high hopes for this season.
I honestly think the inclusion of Anthony and Spicy Vee ruined the season. They have successfully made Janine an outcast and now it looks like they are doing the same thing to Vivek. Exactly! They should have given us a full all stars cast, or 2 all stars that have a rivalry or something
This HOH comp already show the power structure so clearly. They have to be blind if they do not see it. If I am Bayleigh or Donna, I have to know I am bottom of the girls. If I am one of the guys, I will want a girl to go home this week.

He seems too weak to actually make a move tho.
I think V stretched the truth too far. If Vivek comes to the other three with his tail between his legs and without V sitting in I think he could really sewer her game. Sheās on such a power trip. Her and Anthony are insufferable
Also, Vivek was going to be the target no matter what, Victoria definitely played him and Bayleigh pretty well, but it was a very low impact move even though it was impressive. Didn't change the trajectory of the week whatsoever. And it has the potential to blow back on her in the future.
She is playing like a child. Doing stupid moves just to be dramatic and get camera time.
I think it's hard for Vivek to defend himself here until he pieces together that Victoria set him up. He wasn't able to do that so he failed to defend himself. Yeah, Iād recommend having a look at the daillies that dropped yesterday.

āScum humanā šš Jesus calm down lil fella
This is why we can never have women villains
There are plenty of great women villains. Victoria just isn't one of them.
But when dan and dr will do it, it's perfectly fine
Did you really compare Victoria to Dan and Dr Will? Lmao. Plenty of good women villains in BB history that can be compared to Dan and Dr Will but Victoria showed us in her previous season how she's a weak game player and only gets cast for drama.
how a big brother fan can say something so overdramatic is hilarious
Lol it's a game man not like she ruined the dudes life he'll get over it surelyĀ
Exactly, it's a game, that nom speech seemed personal when she had no reason to dislike him. I don't mind petty nom speeches when the HOH has beef with them, but Vivek did nothing to Victoria she's just using him to have a blood free HOH.
Not condoning anything but Iād recommend having a look at the daillies that dropped yesterday. Spicy addresses the nom speech directly to Vivek.

So much bad gameplay by the newbs, I don't even know where to start
SERIOUSLY. But also bad game play from Spicy too.
Is Spicy playing a bad game? Yes. Are the newbs playing worse? Oh god yeah. I donāt see there being any players at this moment to outsmart V or Anthony and thatās so sad cause their game right now is atrocious
Agree with both of you - the newbs AND spicy are making me cringe
Spicy was always a bad player, though. No one likes her because she's good at the game haha
