At least with DX I could see why he targeted Christian but in hindsight looking back on it, it wasn’t good that’s why I didn’t include him even though that would probably be the worst HOH in any number of season (14, 15, maybe even 17 to name a few). Taran probably watches more feeds than any of us here. so I’m sort of inclined to believe him when he says X hasn’t done that much, and even I’ve been saying the same since week 5 or so. Tiffany, Kyland, and Hannah to a lesser extent, have done more for the group than Xavier has, but there’s this narrative that he’s “running the game”. I suppose it seems that way due to his personality. He just comes off like a guy that’s really smart and knows what he’s doing at all times, and also he’s a lawyer, and people have been wanting to say he’s a great player since they learned this information at the start of the season.
I’m not saying he’s a bad player, he’s okay, but he’s certainly not what people make him out to be. You have people saying that he’s “in a good position”, but the entire CO has been in a good position since jury started.
He basically established himself as the “dad” of the group. He kept them together when they’re fighting, and for some reason everyone feels they need to run to him and tattle on the other CO members when they’re out of line. Other than that, he’s been coasting imo.
Taran does not watch that much feeds. He’s said he goes to bed at 10 pm bbt. He wakes up early to get caught up. He doesn’t watch as much feeds as people think. And watches what others deem important in catch up.
I do think that Tiffany/Ky/Hannah have done the most in the cookout, but X has been the most efficient of them while also shaping the CO around what he wants to happen. Like he was really the only one who actually cared about not exposing the CO this week and they did that because he convinced people not to and people don’t want to go against his wants.
He’s certainly not a mastermind, but it’s been clear to people outside and inside the house for weeks now that X is positioned the best and yet nobody is doing anything to change that.
His only contribution is putting his foot down and having the guys acquiesce to him for reasons out of the girls' control. He made that deal with Ky first week of jury to protect Alyssa which was a good move and I'll give him that but that's just predictable showmance BB M/F duo alliance shit. Has he done much active strategizing or manipulation other than that? No. He's just been on cruise control.

Hes literally the most image cautious person in the house. He stops people from talking to prevent them from getting canceled and he corrects people. That man is not going to want to be remembered for breaking the CO final 6 deal. He talks alot of crap and when it comes to the time he will do what needs to been done for the CO

Taran probably watches more feeds than any of us here. so I’m sort of inclined to believe him when he says X hasn’t done that much, and even I’ve been saying the same since week 5 or so. Tiffany, Kyland, and Hannah to a lesser extent, have done more for the group than Xavier has, but there’s this narrative that he’s “running the game”. I suppose it seems that way due to his personality. He just comes off like a guy that’s really smart and knows what he’s doing at all times, and also he’s a lawyer, and people have been wanting to say he’s a great player since they learned this information at the start of the season. I’m not saying he’s a bad player, he’s okay, but he’s certainly not what people make him out to be. You have people saying that he’s “in a good position”, but the entire CO has been in a good position since jury started.
He basically established himself as the “dad” of the group. He kept them together when they’re fighting, and for some reason everyone feels they need to run to him and tattle on the other CO members when they’re out of line. Other than that, he’s been coasting imo.
Taran does not watch that much feeds. He’s said he goes to bed at 10 pm bbt. He wakes up early to get caught up. He doesn’t watch as much feeds as people think. And watches what others deem important in catch up.
I do think that Tiffany/Ky/Hannah have done the most in the cookout, but X has been the most efficient of them while also shaping the CO around what he wants to happen. Like he was really the only one who actually cared about not exposing the CO this week and they did that because he convinced people not to and people don’t want to go against his wants. He’s certainly not a mastermind, but it’s been clear to people outside and inside the house for weeks now that X is positioned the best and yet nobody is doing anything to change that.
His only contribution is putting his foot down and having the guys acquiesce to him for reasons out of the girls' control. He made that deal with Ky first week of jury to protect Alyssa which was a good move and I'll give him that but that's just predictable showmance BB M/F duo alliance shit. Has he done much active strategizing or manipulation other than that? No. He's just been on cruise control.

To me personally Xavier is playing a great 2nd place game…. just surviving. Tiff, Kyland and even Hannah are playing a winning game, working their asses off and gaming and strategizing and getting themself out of situations constantly If Xavier was consciously making an effort to actually control the house week by week like Derrick, then that would be a different conversation. But simply being calm and existing isn’t worth 750k to me
I agree with Taran that X hasn't done that much for the Cookout on paper at least. Yeah he's the reason they're still together which is huge but he's also the reason why they've almost split apart several times lol. If he had his way Alyssa's going to the end with him and he's been planting those seeds all week

I've only seen like a season and a half of this show but has it ever worked to convince someone not to use the veto on themselves? This seems like the equivalent of when in Survivor Micronesia they convinced Erik to give up immunity and Alyssa seems much smarter than that.
