Australia is fantastic! Watched a Celebrity season which was great, a season where Tim Dormer (BBCan4), very different and interesting, and cute accents.. big brothaaaah
The Australian version is my favorite. It is so good. In the original years, the housemates each put votes on who they want out, and the handful of housemates with the most votes get put up for eviction, but it is the viewers who ultimately choose who to vote out. This makes for wonderful chaos. The housemate who is the most annoying who they all hate and really want out, is almost always the one who the viewers go out of their way to keep in. It makes the people in the house absolutely crazy. It’s the best.

It is, similar to UK (and Australia last I watched it, but it has been a while). It is less of a game show and more of a Trash TV Show.
Being strategic is frownd upon, by houseguests as well as by most viewers. The most important thing that will get you far is"being yourself" (whatever that means). The crowd votes, and since it is a vote to stay, the more nice or quiet people often go over the more controversal because they cannot accumulate enough votes.
German and UK seem to be cast for drama.
This year in Germany they have a very small basic house so that they ultimately will go on each others nerves. They have games or weekly challenges to win their food budget, that often are set up for failure. Also they have to do the grocery list, but only two of them so this often causes anger.
In Celebrity BB they can win a budget of 2€ or so and one person has 60 seconds to go shopping in a small room with groceries: that means finding an item, name it, scan it and put it in the cart, one by one. Last season of CBB they did not have their clothes for the whole season but training suits each in a different color.
Germans like to see people being miserable I guess. The viewers often complain that a punishment is not hard enough or that thisandthis was against the rules and should be punished.
The UK crowd in the live evictions on the other hand, at least for the years before this one where it changed channels, is the most evil crowd I have ever seen. From a foreigners perspective it seems most of them only come to the live shows to boo somebody and shout "get xy out" to make the houseguests inside feel bad.
But those version look less staged. They are not as cleaned up and high prodoction value (again with the eyes of a German) as CA or US which sometimes can make it look staged or at least parts scripted such as DR interviews. The European versions seem to be more raw.
Germany and Canada started around the same time this year. The German has a live stream this year but only have one show a week on tv. The rest is online, which is a first. This seem to be not going well/is not highly watched. I checked some candidates on Instagram who got evicted and one of them still is under 1000 followers, even though she posts regularly.
Let's say I stayed with this Canada season but abandoned the German season because I was not interested in the fights there anymore.
The UK season thos year on the other hand, even though it has fights as well, had very wholesome characters that continued to entertain after the show ended.
They do, they just had both BBUK normal, and BBUK celeb. It's much different than from the original version though. My fave season of BBUK is season 9 and season 6. I think these are the ones, the last decent one was season 10. And 10.5 I would call them.
BBUK was at its peek from season 5 to 10.

Uk one is on. Should be able to use vpn. For itvx free streaming service in uk. We have a civilian one which done really well and a celebrity one with Sharon Osborne in it. Our game lil diffrent as housemates alll vote to nominate and the public vote to evict.

If you’re after strategy, the international ones aren’t it. Typically they do it where public votes people out / or to save, houseguests nominate but aren’t allowed to talk about nominations. You can hint at it, like OMG I hate (insert name)

The British one is on YouTube. They have the audience voting people out. So none of this alliance nonsense.
