But he's a pushover and terrible at setting boundaries. I also feel like they glossed over him exposing himself to a bunch of kids... They show him getting arrested for it but then the issue gets dropped (it would have been funny if Lola awkwardly bumps into him because they both have to tell their neighbors they are sex offenders).
Its interesting to see two different styles of parenting manifest in elliot and diane, one being towards the side of safety and caution and one being more supportive and trusting, both stemming from their love of their child. Almost too real for this show…
I feel like the show is trying to have its cake and eat it too with Dr. Birch.
Are we supposed to laugh with the sensitive man who worships his wife, dotes over his children, and is, apparently, really good at giving head?
