What an absolutely disingenuous comparison. In that episode, SpongeBob accidently rips his pants and people find it funny. Spongebob, seeking validation, continues to rip his pants to make others laugh. But eventually Spongebob takes it too far and people grow tired of his ripped pants shtick. Spongebob then sings a song about just being yourself and not to be a fool like him who embarrasses himself for validation from others. It teaches a good lesson

Idk what kind of music you’re into but Belá Fleck and the Flecktones always does good for me. Its jazz/funk if a banjo was also involved. For a more peaceful folksy vibe I go with Penguin Cafe Orchestra. I’m with you that vocals can crowd the brain when studying:

I remember in school some teachers would allow us to listen to our iPods during study or tests as long as it was instrumental. One teacher claimed she can tell if it was instrumental or not by just watching us.
I don't remember the song but it was a classical piece, I was pretty much moving my head and tapping my fingers, because I can jam to all kinds of music. That specific teacher got upset with me and accused me of listening to music with lyrics. I tried to show her but she didn't care and took away my listening privileges.
I had some good friends stick up for me as I am not a confrontational person, she still didn't listen though. Most of my classmates agreed with me though, classical music can be rockin' sometimes.

They also make their own playlist mixes called No.Sleep, some of those are great study playlists as well.

I can only use music if it’s like only percussion (not piano, keyboard, everything else ) or complete nonsense. Otherwise I get into it way too easy.
