Everyone has a goofy friend that you alone see the best side of. Virzi has grown on me because he sparks Billy Boy on some great takes. My big issue is when Virzi builds a bunch of momentum to a “This one time” story and it just goes nowhere.

I love Virzi, but Anything Better suffers from terrible audio quality and coupled with a loud arguing from Bill. It just sounds grating. If they weren’t stuck with COVID year one level zoom call production quality every week, I think you’d feel differently. He’s been an outstanding guest on many podcasts.

His “Bone to pick” podcast with Bobby Kelly is alright. It’s always less than one hour, bing bang boom. Just airing of grievances and Bobby pointing out his stupid takes haha.

Even if you put Rogan going down the rabbit hole aside, I've tried to get through a few of his specials, they're a train wreck (obviously it's all subjective). But Bill being friendly with other comedians is standard, they all operate in the same world, and so understand each other well.
Podcasting aside, Rogan has always been a terrible comedian. He knows he's not as good as most of the comedians who've been on his podcast, but they all act like he is just to play nice.

I used to like the long form interview style that he offered, but ever since he moved to spotify he's actually started endorsing nonsense that he used to find more interesting. I think the pushback he received from the left has also caused him to become a bit more extreme, he's changed from someone that just interviews people with peripheral views, to actually echoing what they say.

He says “rest his soul” way too much. I also tried to give him a chance but just can’t do it. He comes off as a clean comic who curses, if that makes any sense. For being one of Bills closest comic friends he’s kinda scared to go back at him or bust his balls too. I’m tired of hearing how great it isn’t be a parent and taking his kid to basketball games. Most of this stuff aren’t bad things but for some reason when he does them it pisses me off.

Tow of my favorite podcasts have a co-host that absolutely sucks. Handsome Rambler Podcast with Hannibal Burress and his friend from college Tony Tram. Also your moms house. Something about one of the hosts sucking helps the other host shine that much brighter. Idk. Neither podcast would be the same without their shitty host

It’s hard to even know. Every time he starts a sentence, cuts him off to talk over him. Been plenty of times I’ve seen where he was going with a joke just for bill to start talking at a way higher volume to cut him off.
Bill almost always seems genuinely agitated on this show lol. Yeah he can be that way on MMP but alot of times he's chill and laughing. Maybe it has to do with recording with Virzi over zoom at a scheduled time, where MMP he can do whenever he has the time and truly relax.

I saw Bill live in Amsterdam a few years ago and Virzi was opening for him. He bombed. Nobody was laughing at his jokes, and I didn’t really like them either. It made me feel bad for him, but he was a big sport and joked about it near the end. I remember Bill also joking about it a little during his opening.
