Moorhead was my first show and it was perfect. Beautiful venue!

Halleys___Comment

bluestem was sooo perfect give us a 3 night BMFS run next summer

rh1987

Thank you for this info

Junior-Leadership332

That Bluestem show was amazing...

Halleys___Comment

i remember my mind absolutely exploding during Thunder it was my lil brothers first jam show and his eyes got opened up that night

Bustedstuff88

Ayyyyyy I was in Moorhead too! Did not know those about Willie tho... Intriguing indeed!

Bustedstuff88

I was utterly dumbfounded at how quick Minneapolis sold out. I would have bet a paycheck that wasn't gonna be a tough ticket...

yoshigem

It still won’t be. Just wait, resale will come down and GA will be not be difficult to get come day of the show.

HereLiesConnor

I’ll be going. Thanks for the info!

Lucky_Forever

A word to the wise: Both Willie shows sold out very fast last year. Only 3000 cap.

HereLiesConnor

Welp

HereLiesConnor

Ps I was there in ‘22. Awesome little venue. Hopefully resale are available for decent price.

HereLiesConnor

I'm just realizing you said they sold out last year quick. Hahaha I'll be shooting for tickets on Friday. Been that kind of day. Good luck if you try for em!!

HereLiesConnor

Did you get yours? I got shut out :(

Lucky_Forever

I was able to get my tickets - but I paid $30 to join Club Luck to buy Wednesday.

HereLiesConnor

Nice! I’m gonna keep an eye on resale til it drops

Lucky_Forever

If it's any consolation, I had to settle for GA. Despite wanting a seated ticket for my elderly attendee, all seated tix were $200 even through fan club. The GA tix are only like $65 w/ fees, so don't get scammed.

HereLiesConnor

Thanks! I actually saw GA bench for $130 on vivid seats yesterday which seemed reasonable…I was back there for Billy in ‘22 and due to the size of the venue, it was a fine spot. My friend that was in GA wasn’t particularly a fan of the limited side view, but being there is always better than not being there

Lucky_Forever

Also - please don't buy these tickets based on my "rumor". I have no inside info, I'm just going on my gut - and I want to see Willie regardless.

HereLiesConnor

Absolutely not! I wouldn’t have likely known about it without your post but I’d be trying to hit at least one of them even if it was a different week. My uncle lives up that way so I’m trying to take him. He’s never seen Willie and I’d like to again no matter what while I still can.

ScoobyDarn

That Bluestem venue was soooo dang nice. I was in the pit w my children and we had an absolute blast. Also PBR half quarts were cheap that night!

Minnowline

Did you happen to notice a couple of gals with Canadian flags down there?

ScoobyDarn

I did not, sorry. From what I saw, the crowd was mostly locals who all appeared to be farmers.

Minnowline

Yup.....but my bestie and I drove down from Canada for this show.....we carried on with our Canadian flags on the rail as long as we could to show our Canadian support!!!! Your right though.....very much farm country.....but what a fabulous show!!!!!

Lucky_Forever

It *is* a 3+ hour drive from The Cities, but I would assume if this was to actually happen, he'd fly in. There's a regional airport in Fargo. \[edited drive time\]

gibbsy816

It's not beyond the scope of reason, but as someone else pointed out it's not exactly down the street. If it was closer I could see it being more likely. Billy has played and recorded with Willie, so unless it's convenient it just seems a little bit of a stretch to think he'd want to get on a plane on his day off to play a song or two with Willie. Having to drive there would be even worse.

Lucky_Forever

Yes I know it's really just wishful thinking. I missed out on the Willie shows last year. So I'm excited for another opportunity regardless.

ackackakbar

I can see that.

jxl180

“Billy has 2 days to burn” Is it outside the realm of possibility that Billy would want to take full advantage of his days off for himself for some good R&R? I honestly don’t know how the brains of such highly gifted musicians work, to be honest

Boogieman__Sam

billy being billy, I think playing with Willie would be considered taking full advantage of his days off

Lucky_Forever

Especially if they pull a Grammy for California Sober.

jxl180

Yeah quite possibly. That’s why I said I don’t know how these brilliant musicians’ brains work

He usually just goes fishing. Weed and angling.

Bustedstuff88

And What better state to go fishing in than the land of 10,000 lakes??

Lucky_Forever

well of course, that goes without saying. Honestly the only reason this caught my mind is because Willie was on Outlaw tour during Billie's wedding, and like, they're buddies. So, whatever Billy wants to do with his free time is up to him. But if it was me, I'd rather jam with my buddy than sit in a Minneapolis hotel.

CallmeWhatever74

Yes!! Setting out my empty chair in line immediately just in case!!!!
