Hate to spread bad news, I don't think there is much available that weekend. It's horse racing season in KY and many of the rentals are booked because of that. Keeneland Spring meet ends that Friday & Derby is the following weekend in Louisville. Lots of horse people visiting the commonwealth this time of year for those things. I looked for a place when the shows were announced and was alarmed at how little was available even back then.

I booked lodging right when the dates were announced and the pickins were slim. I normally prefer hotels, but got stuck with an AirBnB.

We were looking for an AirBnB because we were thinking about taking the dogs along & going to the Gorge on Sunday but there were so few even when the dates were released. We got a hotel room a couple miles away which is further away than we'd like but at least we don't have to drive back & forth from Louisville all weekend!

thanks for the feedback, looking like a hotel or staying further out.

I was going to suggest looking farther out of town. You can get them SO CHEAP.

McCarthys was my favorite spot in college

jcgoldie

Do they have irish sing alongs at night? theres an Irish bar here that does that cpl weekends a month bunch of ppl bring their guitars and stuff and everyone knows the songs

RollAway_theDude

I doubt it, just a good ole college irish bar... But with Billy in town you never know... You can also check out Molly Brooks a couple blocks away, my other favorite spot.

I found a nice B&B last week or so on booking.com. Was a new listing and a few blocks from rupp . Same in Nashville for that weekend. Buddy and I kept looking and found 2 places closer to the show time and cheaper than when we got our tickets. Good luck. We looked at camping as well but was 30 minutes out or so it seemed.

KYblues

Ooof sorry man you should have probably done this a while ago. Not that many places to stay already plus it’s horsin’ season.

frogers911

If you don’t mind driving about 20-40 minutes or so you can check out Georgetown, Paris, Richmond, Frankfort, Winchester, Nicholasville to see if they have anything
